Tang Yue...
Isn't this exactly her original plan? But why does it sound so unpleasant to hear this old man say it now? Tang Yue didn't speak, still standing on the chair looking at Miyazaki Kaze.
She sensed that this old man was no ordinary person. Perhaps his kung fu was even better than Miyazaki Rin's. However, Miyazaki Feng didn't attack Tang Yue. Instead, he sat down in a chair and poured himself a cup of tea.
"That's unlikely too. No one knows what happened back then better than me. Akiko's child was never saved. So..."
Miyazaki Kaze looked up at Tang Yue and poured her a cup of tea. "Tell me, who are you? Are you Chinese?"
Miyazaki Kaze once again doubted himself, "That's not realistic either. Based on my understanding of China, they should be too busy taking care of themselves right now. Besides, they've always been known as a land of etiquette, so they shouldn't have the energy to raise children as old as you."
As he spoke, Miyazaki Kaze glanced into Tang Yue's eyes and said, "You don't act like an adult. Come down and sit down. I find it tiring to watch you standing like this."
Tang Yue laughed, jumped off the table, and sat down in the chair she had just been sitting in. "Who I am is not important, what's important is that you answer my question."
Miyazaki Kaze laughed, "The third brother should be in your hands, right? Although I don't know your methods, if even the third brother can't beat you, then my chances of winning against you are not high either."
I really want to know who sent you.
Tang Yue shrugged, neither confirming nor denying. Miyazaki Rin seemed very shrewd, but this Miyazaki Kaze, as expected of the head of the Miyazaki family, was even more cunning and shrewd. Tang Yue thought this person might be buying time.
She briefly extended her consciousness outwards, and found that all those people had obediently stayed outside the door; not one of them left. Tang Yue was a little confused at this point.
Aren't you going to call for help?
Miyazaki Kaze had already taken a couple of sips of tea. He looked at Tang Yue, seemingly realizing he shouldn't have asked that question in the first place. He replied with a meaningful expression, "With your abilities, how many people do you think you could have trapped?"
Tang Yue thought about it and agreed, but she didn't get cocky.
"Clan Chief Miyazaki, I don't think we have anything to talk about. I'll just take what I need and leave, otherwise..."
Miyazaki Kaze's smile deepened, though it didn't reach his eyes. "Little girl, I know you have the audacity to be so arrogant. But, in this world, there are always unexpected events, aren't there?"
Tang Yue knew that a number of men in black had already gathered outside, but she remained seated calmly in her chair. “Clan Chief Miyazaki, I don’t care about Japan’s internal affairs. I just want to know where China’s oil map is.”
Miyazaki Kaze, head bowed as he sipped his tea, suddenly flashed a murderous glint in his eyes. How long had it been? He seemed to have lost count; it had been a long time since anyone had dared to challenge his authority. And now, someone had actually sent a child to bully him?
It really is quite interesting.
"Child, if you tell me your origins now, I might give you a chance to live; otherwise..."
"Haha!" Tang Yue knew why Miyazaki Kaze said that. They say you won't shed tears until you see the coffin, and people really are like that.
"Chief Miyazaki, do you feel a sense of accomplishment that I address you like this? Actually, I'm not really interested in your schemes, but you seem quite unwilling to cooperate with me right now."
A cold glint flashed in Miyazaki's eyes. "Children should do children's things. I don't know whose family sent you, but the oil in China was bought with the lives of countless warriors of my Miyazaki family."
"You think you can take it so easily? Forget the door, even if you wipe out the Miyazaki family, I won't give it to you."
Tang Yue simply curled the corners of her lips, while Miyazaki Kaze's eyes flashed with interest. "However, if you reveal the master behind you and agree to acknowledge me as your master in the future, I might let you off the hook."
Tang Yue swung her legs on the chair for a moment, and instantly the temperature in the room seemed to drop to freezing point. The tense atmosphere was like an invisible net, tightly enveloping Tang Yue.
A hundred or so men in black appeared like ghosts, their explosives radiating a chilling aura, each fuse like a deadly noose hanging over Tang Yue's head.
Tang Yue hadn't noticed before that these men in black were strapped with so much explosives. If you looked closely, the explosives were so tightly bound that their clothes were no longer straight. It's a pity Tang Yue hadn't noticed this.
However, Tang Yue's expression didn't change much. Miyazaki Feng had been observing Tang Yue's changes in expression, and he hadn't expected this little girl to have such strong composure. Even he, if he didn't know he had a way out, would have been so frightened by the scene before him that his legs would have gone weak.
"Little girl, I am very satisfied with your performance. However, life is only once. Are you sure you want to sacrifice yourself for your master? You should know that with your abilities, you can live well anywhere."
Tang Yue, however, was thinking about something else entirely. Once these explosives detonated, the consequences would be unimaginable. Although she possessed exceptional skills, under such a dense threat of explosives, it would be difficult for her to escape unscathed without the aid of spatial manipulation.
She wasn't afraid; the old man seemed quite confident. But what if he didn't dodge in time? She might really lose her life. Finding a map was proving too difficult for her.
Tang Yue's gaze towards Miyazaki Kaze had changed. Everyone says the Japanese aren't human, and this scene vividly demonstrates that. Over a hundred lives, including their own trained elites—they really were willing to blow them up like that?
Miyazaki Kaze looked at Tang Yue, whose encirclement was gradually shrinking, and a smug smile appeared on his face. That smile was full of arrogance and conceit.
