Chapter 304 Hey! Are you Hachiman?

304

While Tang Yue was giving instructions to everyone, the Japanese pirates had already quietly boarded their ship from a corner they couldn't see. The leader was a man with typical Japanese features, even shorter.

He looked very strong, even quite broad. He had an SCIK66 9mm submachine gun slung over his shoulder and looked somewhat unruly. Clearly, he was the one who had just said that.

After he finished speaking, the pirates behind him echoed him, speaking Japanese in a very unpleasant way, but Tang Yue laughed.

Everyone naturally saw that the pirates had already boarded the ship, and no one wanted to back down. They immediately lined up in front of Tang Yue and Gu Yanxi, tightly blocking their way.

Tang Yue's smile froze on her face. These people are quite cute, though. But really, it wasn't necessary.

The pirate leader seemed unfazed by the scene before him, but he had no intention of wasting time. He took the gun off his shoulder, pointed it at the people in front of him, and was about to fire.

Just as the pirate leader was about to hook his finger back, a sharp, piercing pain shot through his hand. The pirate leader was a tough nut to crack; though his hand trembled slightly, he still insisted on completing his move.

Perhaps the pain he had just experienced was too intense, so much so that his nerves seemed to be out of control of his brain. He thought he had pulled the trigger, but not a single bullet was fired from the submachine gun.

He was about to turn around to look at the people behind him, wondering why neither he nor they had moved. But in that instant, he noticed that something seemed to be missing from his hand.

Those behind them seemed to understand their leader's intentions, all pointing their guns at Tang Yue and the others. However, even before they could pull the trigger, their bodies gave way. They fared even worse than their pirate leader; within moments, they all collapsed to the ground.

Wen Quan was also protected by the others and positioned a little further back, but his position was definitely closer to the front. He had just closed his eyes and awaited death, but after waiting for a long time, the pirates didn't fire a shot at them.

Wen Quan cautiously opened his eyes, wanting to see what was going on, and just then he saw the pirate behind the leader of the pirates lying on the ground with his eyes open. Wen Quan...

What happened? Not only that, he also saw that, apart from these few people, the other pirates who wanted to board their ship were all bounced by something and fell into the sea. Apart from these few people, none of them were able to board the ship again.

Furthermore, Wen Quan quietly swallowed. The leading pirate was looking down, his eyes wide with disbelief at his right hand. Wen Quan's gaze fell on his right hand. His eyes involuntarily widened as well; the leading pirate's index finger was—no, it was gone.

Now, only a trickle of blood was seeping from the tip of his right index finger. Wen Quan's mind was in a daze. How could this have happened? In this situation, shouldn't they be the ones dying?

After all, they had no weapons and no fighting ability; they were the weaker party no matter how you looked at it.

But now, the scene before them was that of the pirates who had boarded their ship, only one was still standing, and it seemed he was merely standing. He was motionless. Wen Quan inexplicably knew this.

Wen Quan wasn't the only one with this thought; everyone else opened their eyes as well. At the same time, they all had the same idea: their benefactor must have intervened.

But why just now? Never mind, since our benefactor doesn't want them to know, then they won't know.

Tang Yue ignored what the crowd was thinking and walked around from behind them to stand in front of the pirates. There was no other way; these people were blocking her way too well, and it was faster to walk around from behind than to try and get through them.

Gu Yanxi merely raised an eyebrow when he witnessed the scene. This little girl's abilities are truly extraordinary. He followed Tang Yue to the leader of the pirates. Tang Yue twitched her finger, and the pirate leader immediately glared at her angrily, "It's you? It's you, isn't it?"

It's unclear what he was thinking, but just a few seconds later he was furiously yelling at Tang Yue, and his expression changed completely. "Hachiman! You are Hachiman, aren't you? Yes, you must be."

Before Tang Yue could even furrow her brow, he continued, "Hachiman, I never thought I'd see you again. It's so wonderful, so wonderful."

Tang Yue believed that he simply couldn't kneel down at this moment; if he could kneel down, he would have already prostrated himself on his knees.

Even so, Tang Yue wouldn't let them off the hook. If they hadn't run into her today, even if Gu Yanxi were there, none of them would have survived.

"Hachiman, may I invite you to visit my island?"

Huh? Tang Yue's eyes flickered. Although it was slightly different from what she had expected, the result was the same. The reason she hadn't gone all out before was firstly because she didn't want to expose herself too much to others, and secondly because she wanted these pirates to take her to their island.

Since they dared to snatch her, how could they not take her back and make up for their chance encounter at sea?

Even if they hadn't bothered her, Tang Yue would still have wanted to visit them when she had time, but now it's completely effortless for her.

Tang Yue nodded slightly, "Then let's go take a look."

The leader was delighted to hear Tang Yue's reply. He did not ask Tang Yue to let go of him, but instead said very sincerely, "Hachiman, I will show you the way and take you there now."

Before Tang Yue could nod, Gu Yanxi grabbed her shoulder. "Be careful, it might be a trap. They're pirates."

Tang Yue paused for a moment, then casually dragged the pirate leader to the control room.
