Chapter 319 The Secret of the Man in Black

319

Tang Yue watched the fleeing men in black and chased after them without hesitation. She had a premonition that as long as she followed these people, she could go directly to the real germ laboratory.

These men in black had long been corrupted by the drugs and lost their minds, but Tang Yue's attacks aroused their primal instincts, causing them to flee towards the place they believed was safe.

As she ran, she pondered to herself: "If Japan can produce people like this, how many unspeakable secrets are hidden in that germ laboratory?"

If Japan only used these methods against its own people, Tang Yue would have no problem with it, but would Japan really?

The men in black ran wildly through the mountains and forests, their movements fierce yet stiff, like wild beasts. Although Tang Yue's attacks injured them, they ignored it and continued their frantic escape.

They moved with incredible speed, navigating the dense forest with ease, demonstrating an intimate knowledge of the terrain. It seems this was all part of their training program.

Tang Yue followed closely behind them, her figure as light as a ghost, moving swiftly through the woods. The men in black moved in seemingly random directions, but these were likely paths they frequently used in their training.

Finally, the man in black arrived at the gate of a heavily guarded giant factory deep in the mountains. This was the same factory Tang Yue had seen from the air earlier.

The factory was surrounded by a high wall covered with green vines and barbed wire, appearing extremely well-defended. The gate was tightly shut, and several guards, also dressed in black, stood at the entrance, armed and vigilantly watching the surroundings.

The gate was cast from thick, black steel, its rough, cold surface giving it an impression of indestructibility. It was over two people tall and wide enough for two large trucks to pass side-by-side.

The door is devoid of any decoration, featuring only cold, metallic lines that seem to speak of its sturdiness and coldness.

The black-clad guards on both sides were clearly conscious. They wore black uniforms and black masks, revealing only a pair of cold eyes. It was from those cold eyes that it was clear these people were alert.

When the guards in black saw the men in black running towards them in a disheveled state, they immediately raised their guns and aimed them at the men in black. The men in black no longer cared about what they had been trained for and just charged forward.

The guards in black pointed their guns at the people in black behind them, but after a long time they didn't see anyone following them. The guards on both sides of the door exchanged a glance. Had their potions expired?

Black-clad Guard A: "Isn't it time to inject the drug?"

Black-clad Guard B: "I don't know, but it doesn't usually happen at this time. Could the dosage have been adjusted?"

The black-clad guard A pondered for a moment, "It's unlikely. After all, this is a sensitive time, and such a mistake shouldn't have happened inside."

The black-clad guard B thought for a moment and agreed, "That's right, so what's the situation now? There's no one behind them at all."

Tang Yue was standing between the two of them, carefully observing the giant factory. The factory had a unique architectural style, and the overall atmosphere was cold and oppressive.

The building's exterior walls are made of a special material that not only appears sturdy and durable but also provides excellent camouflage, allowing it to blend perfectly into the surrounding natural environment.

From high altitudes or a distance, it's difficult to tell that this is a factory; it looks more like part of the mountains and forests.

Tang Yue didn't ignore the words of the two guards in black. She hadn't intended to listen any further, but now that she was here, it was time to get started.

Black-clad Guard A: "Not necessarily, let's wait and see. Although these Chinese are under control, some of them still regain consciousness from time to time, so we need to keep an eye on them."

Who knows, maybe one of them has come to their senses and brought all these things back.

Tang Yue turned her head sharply, her anger unabated, and the two black-clad guards instantly felt the air around them drop several degrees.

Black-clad guard A: "What's going on? I suddenly feel a drop in temperature, it's so cold."

Black-clad Guard B: "Yeah, I had that feeling too." As he spoke, Black-clad Guard B walked around the group of men in black with his gun in hand. "Just now, it felt like I was being watched by something."

"Stop talking nonsense, quickly check these people to see if any of them are awake. Baka, what a troublesome bunch. The moment they wake up, they're all thinking of going against us."

The black-clad guard A also joined in the inspection, saying, "That's right. What's so great about that China? I heard they can't even get a decent meal. And these Chinese, I don't know what's wrong with them, they just won't submit no matter what. They deserve to die."

Black-clad Guard B: "Alright, there's no point in saying all this. If they could just surrender, they would have done so already. We wouldn't need the experts inside to develop drugs to control them. But these people's will is just too strong."

Black-clad guard A: "That's true, after all, he's been on the battlefield and fought in wars, he's really stubborn."

Tang Yue was already standing in the middle of the men in black. She looked up at each face, realizing that they were actually Chinese. Listening to the conversation between the two guards, Tang Yue felt a mix of emotions.

Wisps of white smoke rose from above her head. Her aura was extremely low, and the fierceness she had shown when fighting the men in black had vanished. At this moment, she wanted nothing more than to raze the place to the ground.

These were actually Chinese soldiers. It turned out that there were still soldiers who had disappeared from China. Tang Yue had never heard of this before. Her eyes stung, but Tang Yue didn't let the tears fall.

Black-clad guard A: "Did you notice anything? I didn't see anything on my end."
