Chapter 326 Who can fly a plane?

326

Tang Jianye raised an eyebrow, waiting for Tang Yue to continue.

Tang Yue did not disappoint Tang Jianye, "Just prove that you are not Chinese."

Several conscious people gasped softly. What on earth was going on? They were all Chinese, so how did this turn into a scene of mutual slaughter?

Tang Jianye was amused by Tang Yue's words, "You want me to prove I'm Chinese? My ancestors have been Chinese for generations, and now you want me to prove it?"

What proof do you want to use?

Tang Yue shrugged indifferently, "You can prove it however you want, especially that medicinal smell that's different from everyone else here."

Fei Bing was surprised again, followed by tension. What was going on? Could this Tang Jianye be a spy planted by the Japanese among their men in black? He couldn't help but become wary.

Tang Jianye originally wanted to point at Tang Yue, but then he shrugged indifferently, "Hehe, little girl, you have a pretty good nose, you even smelled such a small amount of medicine."

After saying that, he smiled and nodded, "I understand what you mean, you're sure you're Chinese, right?"

Tang Yue remained silent. Tang Jianye realized that this girl was also stubborn.

"Okay, I believe you are Chinese. Then can you tell me how someone as small as you managed to get all by yourself into Japan's germ experimentation base?"

Fei Bing and the others also wanted to know. Tang Yue wasn't familiar with these people, and she felt she didn't need to explain everything to them.

"The plane sent by the Emperor should be arriving soon, right? Are you sure you want to hear my story first?"

The men's expressions changed. Indeed, if the Emperor's rescue forces arrived, it would be even more difficult for them to leave.

Tang Jianye had just nodded when Tang Yue's voice rang out again, "However, before that, it would be best to make it clear that you smell of medicine. Otherwise, I wouldn't dare to completely entrust my back to you."

Seeing Tang Jianye's glare, Tang Yue continued, "After all, I think the reason you've stayed here for so long is because you haven't found a way to leave."

Tang Jianye felt a tightness in his chest, a feeling of suffocation that made him very uncomfortable. Han Dayong laughed unkindly.

They could all see that this girl held a grudge. She had just rephrased Old Tang's words.

Tang Jianye glared at Han Dayong, annoyed. Tang Yue turned to look at Han Dayong, who nodded. "Hello comrade, I am Han Dayong, a Chinese. Skin color and language cannot prove we are Chinese, and even military unit numbers are probably useless."

After all, far more people know about that thing.

Tang Yue agreed with Han Dayong's words; Tang Jianye was being a bit too aggressive. Han Dayong walked to a corner of the room, fumbled around for a while, and pulled out a stack of papers whose color was indistinguishable.

He handed the documents in his hand to Tang Yue, saying, "I think this should prove that we are Chinese."

Tang Yue took the paper, which was densely covered with records of the decomposition process of the drug formula used to control these soldiers, as well as related experimental data.

Her gaze swept quickly across the text; the notes were hastily written, and the handwriting was inconsistent, suggesting it wasn't done by the same person. Tang Yue also detected the same faint medicinal scent on Han Dayong as on Tang Jianye.

The smell of this medicine was different from that of the men in black here; it was barely noticeable amidst the strong smell of disinfectant.

Tang Yue could understand the text, but the chemical formulas were too difficult for her. The reverse engineering process of the drug was clearly written. Tang Yue looked up, "So, the medicinal smell on you was from making this?"

Tang Jianye didn't speak, but Han Dayong nodded. "Yes, more than 80% of the men in black here are Chinese soldiers, and the rest are other skilled individuals brought in from China."

The disappearance of these people is a great loss to China; we cannot let them be buried here forever.

Tang Yue frowned. "So, you're all chemistry experts?"

Han Dayong smiled wryly, "There aren't that many experts. Among us, only Lao Tang has some knowledge of chemistry. But we've always been under the watchful eyes of the Japanese, so Lao Tang has been slowly teaching us, and we can do whatever we can whenever we get a chance."

Where did you conduct your research?

“Outside. You've seen the situation here; there's nowhere to hide anything.”

"Have you never been inside the lab up there?"

Han Dayong laughed, "Yes. But I've never been able to get into Takahashi's lab. I don't dare take too much of anything else either, because taking too much would arouse their suspicion."

Tang Yue understood. Although Han Dayong only briefly explained what they had done, Tang Yue could imagine the hardships they had endured.

Then she remembered, "So, they didn't make an antidote for the drug they injected you with?"

The men's expressions darkened. Tang Jianye scoffed, and Han Dayong nodded.

"This drug has a complex composition, mostly consisting of mind control drugs. After Takahashi injects it into the human body in a special way, it can completely destroy a person's will and turn them into a puppet that can be controlled at will."

It's already quite difficult to do this much. Besides, they have no intention of letting us go; the antidote isn't really necessary for them.

Tang Yue understood what Han Dayong meant, "How far have you progressed in your research?"

"No results." These were the words of Tang Jianye. The young man still had that nonchalant look on his face. Seeing Tang Yue looking over, he said with a defiant expression, "None of us are professionals, and we've been tinkering for over two years with no progress."
