Chapter 34 South Island, so far away?

Tang Yue smiled and said, "Uncle Li, look, I have money now! I'll buy you something delicious next time you come to town."

Li Mingxuan seemed to have finally composed himself, and a smile returned to his face. "Okay, I'll wait for you next time."

He felt too embarrassed to agree to the little girl calling him "uncle" again. The little girl was destined for greatness, and he felt a little ashamed to take advantage of her.

On the way, Lin Cuicui hesitated several times, but finally asked, "Yueyue, can your father still join the army?"

Tang Yue nestled in Tang Shengkai's arms, looked up at him, and then nodded with a grin, "Sure, it's all settled, we can set off soon."

The whole family turned to look at Tang Yue, and Lin Cuicui was even more incredulous.

"Honey, are you telling the truth? Your dad can really join the army?"

Tang Yue nodded affirmatively, "Okay, but..."

The whole family tensed up, afraid of hearing Tang Yue say something bad. Tang Yue clearly felt Tang Shengkai's arm tighten around her. Lin Cuicui also unconsciously clenched her fists.

"It's just that the place is a bit far, so we have to go there ourselves."

"Far? Where?"

"Far? Where?"

Tang Shengkai and Lin Cuicui spoke in unison, while Old Li, driving the cart ahead, also strained his ears. The three older brothers stared intently at Tang Yue, all wanting to know where they were going.

Tang Yue had no concept of the geographical location of this world; she only knew that it was somewhat far, but she didn't know exactly how far.

"South Island".

"Ah, the Southern Island?"

"What? The Southern Islands?"

"My God, the South Island?"

"South Island? That's so far away?"

...

The four of them exclaimed in unison. Tang Yue looked at her parents, then at Tang Bei, and then at Old Li, who turned around in surprise.

Is the South Island very far away?

Tang Nan and Tang Bei nodded blankly, while Tang Shengkai swallowed hard. His voice rang out above Tang Yue's head.

"It's far, too far. Starting from here, it crosses half of the country."

Tang Yue seemed to have a concept in her mind. If that's the case, they must be in the far north, heading directly to the far south.

It was quite far, but there were no teleportation talismans, teleportation arrays, or flying boats here, and she didn't know how to fly using qi. She also didn't have any handy magical artifacts. Tang Yue was dumbfounded.

She lowered her head in frustration, her voice not as lively as usual, "It's so far, how are we going to get there?"

Tang Yue was now in a dilemma.

That's so far away, and they don't even own a donkey. Are they going to buy a donkey cart?

Lin Cuicui and Tang Shengkai exchanged a glance and burst out laughing.

Tang Yue looked up at this and then at that, not understanding what her parents meant, and why they seemed so happy.

Tang Bei stretched out his icy little hand and took Tang Yue's little hand. "Little sister, don't worry, we can take the train."

"A train?" What kind of train is that? Could it be a fire-based magical artifact? Tang Yue was a little confused.

Tang Shengkai, however, was not paying attention to the children's issues. Instead, he stared at Lin Cuicui and asked, "Cuicui, when do you think it would be a good time for us to leave?"
