Chapter 342 Our mission is to bring Tang Yue back to South Island.

Chang Yin didn't say much, but ordered the ships to set sail! The two warships headed towards Zhougang. Two hours later, they finally encountered the warships that had been pursuing them from Zhougang.

As soon as Battalion Commander Wang Chao stopped the ship, he launched into a tirade against Chang Yin, "Hey Battalion Commander Chang, you guys can't play like this. By the way, what's that ship on your South Island equipped with? It's way too fast!"

I practically jumped high, but I still couldn't catch up!

Chang Yin's expression faltered for a moment, but Wang Chao, the burly man, didn't notice and continued, "It's definitely not a small part of the credit that your Southern Island deserves, so is it worth being in such a hurry?"

Chang Yin coughed lightly twice, his fist pressed to his lips, before Wang Chao turned his gaze to the people on Tang Jianye's ship. Seeing their expressions, even Wang Chao, a tough man who frequently went on missions, couldn't help but feel his eyes welling up with tears. "Attention! Salute!"

All the Chinese soldiers on the four warships in Zhougang saluted Tang Jianye and his men in perfect unison. The scene was breathtaking. Tang Jianye and the others could no longer hold back their tears. Tang Jianye choked back sobs and roared, "Attention! Return the salute!"

The group of men in black moved in perfect unison, tears streaming down their faces, yet their expressions were resolute. Such a scene would move anyone who witnessed it.

Wang Chao didn't know these people's ranks; he was only there to pick them up and take them back to Zhougang. Standing on the warship, Wang Chao said with a serious expression, "Comrades, you've worked hard. We've come to take you home!"

Wang Chao spoke the words "go home" with a firm and resolute voice, and some of the men in black couldn't help but choke up. Tang Yue was also unaccustomed to this scene; it was too emotionally charged.

These are the sharp-edged warriors who shed blood but not tears for China. Their feelings upon finally returning to their homeland after overcoming countless hardships are something that people who haven't experienced it firsthand can't possibly understand.

"Let's go!" Wang Chao's voice was noticeably less harsh than usual; his shout released a torrent of pent-up frustration.

Chang Yin and his crew didn't move. By the time Wang Chao discovered them, they were already some distance away.

"Commander Chang, what do you mean?"

Chang Yin stood on the deck and looked back at Wang Chao. "Commander Wang, our current mission is to bring Tang Yue back to South Island. Farewell."

"What?" Wang Chao could hardly believe his ears. He blinked. "Um, no? That..."

Chang Yin and his warships slowly adjusted their course. Wang Chao shouted angrily, "Battalion Commander Chang, don't you know what procedures are required for returning from abroad? How can you just bring people back to the South Island?"
