Chapter 344 Returning to the South Island

She leaned close to Tang Yue's ear and said, "You forgot that our family has a lot of money. We can't possibly spend it all." Then she proudly reached out and ruffled her daughter's hair.

Tang Yue sighed inwardly. Her parents were really easily satisfied. But her father was right; it was best to keep a low profile. She'd just make sure to prepare plenty of food. They could eat it secretly at home; it wouldn't attract attention.

Chang Yin had been constantly in the room, exchanging messages. Before they even reached the port of Nan Island, Tang Yue could already hear the bustling crowds at the port. She stood up and quickly projected her consciousness outwards, only to see Tang Bei and Tang Nan protecting Old Li and Lin Cuicui holding Xixi, standing on the side closest to the sea.

The little girl's eyes and brows were beaming with joy. Finally, she was home. She had missed it so much.

Tang Dong's eyesight was now exceptional. After walking a while longer, Tang Dong took Tang Yue's hand and said, "Little sister, look, aren't those my eldest brother, second brother, and mother? And grandpa and Xixi too?"

"Yes, they've all come to pick us up."

"Where?" Tang Shengkai couldn't see clearly yet because it was still a bit far away. Tang Dong pointed in a direction, "Dad, you should be able to see it a little further ahead."

Sure enough, Tang Shengkai saw it too. Before the ship even docked, Tang Bei and the others on the shore began to move over. Chang Yin and his crew were on a classified mission, unknown to the people on the island. Therefore, no welcoming ceremony was held.

As soon as Tang Yue and the others disembarked, she noticed a figure rushing towards her. Upon seeing who it was, Tang Yue couldn't help but sigh, "Wow! Her mother's speed is impressive."

"Mom, I miss you so much!" Tang Yue murmured sincerely as Lin Cuicui hugged her tightly, holding her neck.

The mother and daughter had never been separated for so long before, and Lin Cuicui's tears flowed freely. Heaven knows how she got through each day. It is said that a mother worries when her son travels a thousand miles. No matter how capable her daughter is, she is still her precious darling.

How could she not worry?

Tang Yue kept wiping away Lin Cuicui's tears with her small hands, but the tears were like a flood that had been released, and she couldn't stop them.

"Mom, I'm really okay. Look at me, I'm perfectly fine, aren't I? Mom, if you keep crying, I'll start crying too."

Hearing her daughter's words, Lin Cuicui felt a little better. However, tears still streamed down her face. Tang Bei and Tang Nan stood beside their mother, looking at their younger sister with longing eyes. They hadn't seen her in so long either. "Mom, please give them some time."

"Report!"
