Tang Shengkai and Tang Dong exchanged glances after hearing what Uncle Xu said. Tang Shengkai asked directly, "Uncle, how did you know Yueyue was back?"
Uncle Xu glanced at Tang Shengkai and noticed his unpleasant expression. He belatedly realized he might have done something wrong. Was Yueyue's absence from the military some kind of secret? Something that couldn't be known by others?
"Uncle Qian Xing came over to talk to Grandpa last night, and said that we should come to your house for dinner tonight to celebrate the ugly one. Yueyue is going home."
Xu Zhiwei spilled the beans, and Second Master Xu stood still. "Well, Third Brother, are we doing something wrong? If so, we won't go in."
"Zhiwei, let's go back."
Tang Shengkai grabbed Xu Ershu's arm. "Second Uncle, look at you, it's nothing. I was just asking casually. Qian Xing is coming over tonight too, he didn't even tell me."
"Let's go home and have Cui Cui cook something delicious for us tonight."
Uncle Xu was a little embarrassed. "Third brother, we're from the same village. I watched you grow up. There's nothing we can't talk about."

The two children chased each other as they ran ahead. Uncle Xu called out from behind, "Hey, you two little rascals, slow down! This is the army base, don't run around like that."
Tang Shengkai didn't know whether the Uncle Xu in front of him was acting out a betrayal or if he really hadn't changed. After everything that had happened, Tang Shengkai no longer dared to trust these villagers.
