Chapter 393 Going to Russia

393

Tang Yue's anger burned fiercely. She instantly saw through the sinister intentions of the Russians. They were clearly trying to create conflict at the border to cover the smooth passage of those spies who were stealing cultural relics.

"Heh, you think you can just leave like that?" Tang Yue had an idea, but right now the most important thing was the safety of the Chinese soldiers.

The situation on the battlefield grew increasingly tense and deadlocked. After the shots were fired on Pearl Island, the Chinese soldiers on guard duty behind the lines heard them and immediately gave a signal. The other soldiers on the sentry post rushed towards Pearl Island, firing at the Russians as they ran. Although their guns couldn't reach the island, they did have some deterrent effect.

The Chinese soldiers rushing down the mountain instantly relieved the pressure on their comrades on Pearl Island. However, this turn of events didn't last even a minute, as Russian tanks were already pressing aggressively towards Pearl Island.

The first tank fired a shot at the Chinese soldiers charging down the hillside. The distance wasn't enough; the tank hit the river where China and Pearl Island meet. The ice on the river shattered instantly under the shell's attack.

Then the other tanks also fired at the ice. The soldiers rushing down the mountain immediately stopped. The ice had already cracked, and it was impossible for them to walk on it.

The Russian soldiers inside the tank let out arrogant laughter. The Russian soldiers on Pearl Island were extremely pleased with themselves; they longed to see despair on the faces of the Chinese soldiers. But to their disappointment, there was none.

Although the vast majority of them were shot, their eyes remained resolute. They were unafraid to die in order to protect China.

Tang Yue's figure flashed, like a black lightning bolt slicing through the night sky, instantly disappearing from her original spot. When she reappeared, she was already on the battlefield of Pearl Island.

Her cold gaze swept over the enemy below. The Russian soldiers, thinking that the Chinese soldiers on Pearl Island had no way out and were about to be crushed like playthings, all let out arrogant laughter.

Tang Yue suddenly appeared in mid-air and immediately grabbed the Russian soldiers by the neck, silencing their laughter.

They didn't understand what was going on. Why had a tiny figure suddenly appeared in the air without falling down? But that wasn't what they should be thinking about right now. After a brief moment of shock, they quickly regained their senses and started firing their guns at Tang Yue.

A contemptuous sneer curled at the corner of Tang Yue's lips. Her movements were as agile as a cheetah, weaving freely through the hail of bullets. The Russians, unable to hit her, began to hurl insults, but Tang Yue's smile deepened.

Go ahead and curse, this is the last time you'll speak.

When Tang Yue was about to reload after running out of bullets, she gently waved her hand, and the Russian soldiers immediately stopped in their tracks and made no further moves.

Seeing this, the already incapacitated Chinese soldiers immediately raised their trembling hands, gripped their guns, and opened fire on the Russian soldiers. What could be more satisfying than personally killing one's enemy?

Seeing that the situation was not right, the Russian soldiers in the tank immediately turned their guns around, intending to fire at Pearl Island.

Tang Yue hurled several bombs, which landed squarely on the ice beneath several tanks. With a few loud bangs, the ice beneath the tanks shattered.

Several tanks were thrown into the air and then fell high into the air when the bombs exploded; it's unclear whether they were capable of fighting zombies. However, when the tanks landed back on the ice, they fell directly into the water.

With a gun in her hand, Tang Yue fired several shots as Russian soldiers climbed out of the tank, ending their lives instantly.

The victory came too suddenly, and the Chinese soldiers were caught off guard. By the time they realized what was happening, Tang Yue was nowhere to be seen on the battlefield. The Russian flag on Pearl Island was lying on the river, and they had somehow ended up on the riverbank.

The Chinese soldiers who hadn't landed on the island snapped out of their daze and immediately carried their comrades back. Just then, several military vehicles rushed down the mountain.

Upon receiving the message from the sentry post, Chang Yin immediately rushed over. The gunfire had been intense, along with the sounds of explosions. Chang Yin's face was grim. But when he got out of the car and saw the scene before him, his eyes darkened slightly.

"What happened?"

A soldier hurriedly reported. Chang Yin sighed helplessly. A little girl had appeared in the air; who else could it be but Tang Yue?

Sun Jinan and his men also arrived, and they immediately applied the hemostatic powder to the wounded soldiers. The bleeding stopped quickly.

"Battalion Commander, has the Company Commander been here?"

"Um."

"Where is the company commander?"

Chang Yin turned around and gave him a cold look, and Sun Jinan immediately shut up. Well, it seems even the battalion commander doesn't know where the company commander is.

Chang Yin immediately set up defenses here. They had been careless; they hadn't expected the Russians to use such a method to cover their spies crossing the border. But was it really that easy?

By this time, Tang Yue had already crossed the river with the two spies from before. These people had gone to so much trouble; Tang Yue wanted to see where they were going to deliver all this stuff.

Tang Yue felt like she had forgotten something, but she couldn't remember it right away. She thought, "Oh well, if I can't remember, I can't remember. The cultural relics are the most important thing right now."

She had no idea that cultural relics were difficult to retrieve once they were in another country. Only when they were here and gathered together could she better organize them.

Who was Chang Yin? She had completely forgotten about him.

"Hurry up, we're getting close to the scheduled time." (Russian language)

"Timofe, let's make a deal. You speak your Russian language, and I'll speak Chinese. I can understand what you're saying, but replying in Russian is too slow."
