"I have something to take care of," Tang Yue replied casually, but little did she know that her actions in helping the old lady vent her anger had kept Mr. Qi very busy.
Mr. Qi reported to the top leader that China was about to have a satellite. The top leader was very pleased, and all the top officials of China gathered together for a meeting to discuss where the satellite base should be built.
The main issue is that their scientists researching satellites are currently scattered, and the base's structure is not yet fully complete. They also lack many raw materials. Now, suddenly having a complete satellite to study is an immense joy for them.
Since the 1960s, the top leadership had never been so united. They discussed quickly, everyone working towards the same goal, and finally finalized the plan, specifying the exact locations for satellite construction and launch.
Seeing that it was almost dawn, at 4:30, Mr. Qi asked his secretary, Tian, to invite Tang Yue to his office. Secretary Tian was completely dumbfounded.
"Mr. Qi, who are you inviting? I haven't seen anyone I don't recognize tonight."
Mr. Qi paused abruptly, looking at Secretary Tian with surprise. "You mean you didn't see a little girl this tall?" He gestured to himself as he spoke to show his height.
Secretary Tian shook her head, already knowing in her heart who the gentleman was referring to. But, could it be that the little girl had been to Mr. Qi's office? But how come he didn't know? When did that little girl arrive?
Mr. Qi leaned weakly against the wall, and after a while he chuckled softly. "Ah, I mistreated her."
Secretary Tian immediately sensed something was wrong. How could this be the master's fault? He had so much to do every day; it was she, as his secretary, who hadn't done a good job. "Master, it's my fault..."
Mr. Qi waved his hand, and Secretary Tian tentatively asked, "Sir, should I go out and look for it?"
He didn't attend the meeting just now, but they still heard some rumors. It was about satellites! Their China was about to have its own satellites! How exciting was that?
Mr. Qi waved his hand again, "No need to go, she will come again, let's just wait."
Secretary Tian opened his mouth, but he didn't say anything. He understood that the girl's affairs were a secret among the higher-ups. They waited until 9:30.
Mr. Qi's phone kept ringing almost non-stop during that time. What could he do but postpone it? He smiled wryly; he seemed to have never had such a leisurely morning before.
When Tang Yue appeared in Mr. Qi's office, their eyes met, and Mr. Qi suddenly laughed. "Comrade Tang, we've been neglecting you."
Tang Yue paused for a moment, then suddenly understood what Mr. Qi meant. She frowned. "Sir, have I taken up your time? Or am I too late?"
Mr. Qi was surprised by her question and laughed again. "No, no, it's never too late. I was in such a rush last night that I forgot to arrange a place for you to stay. Where did you stay last night?"
Tang Yue shook her head, "It's alright, you're handling important matters, I can handle my own little things." Then she went straight to the point, "Sir, have you confirmed the location?"
Mr. Qi immediately became serious. He lowered his voice and asked, "How big is the satellite? How big of a house would we need to build?"
Tang Yue thought about the scale of the Russian research base, then picked up a pen and paper from Mr. Qi's desk and began to draw a diagram, clearly marking the specific dimensions and the function of each location.
Mr. Qi praised it repeatedly. Tang Yue was also at a loss; she didn't know why she couldn't simply move the satellite base's houses directly into space. If she could, they wouldn't even need to build houses.
However, it wasn't a big deal; she had plenty of building materials in her storage space. "Sir, let's build it according to this standard. You'll have to find the workers, but I can provide the materials."
"What? You mean, all the building materials? You have them all?" Mr. Qi was just thinking about how to deal with these supplies when the young girl in front of him had already done it for him.
"Yes, we also have tools and machinery." Tang Yue said calmly. She couldn't care less how surprised Mr. Qi was.
Mr. Qi was indeed very excited; he felt a meeting should be convened immediately. Tang Yue spoke again, "Sir, I have a lot of supplies that can help alleviate the current difficulties facing China. However, I have one condition: these supplies must not fall into the hands of those people."
I don't want the things I worked so hard to bring back to end up benefiting only a small group of people.
Mr. Qi's expression was also unpleasant; how could he not understand Tang Yue's meaning? He nodded solemnly, "Comrade Tang, don't worry, I will personally oversee these matters."

Mr. Qi had already discerned from the little girl's words her disgust for those people. He promised Tang Yue that he needed some time to handle the matter. Tang Yue didn't say anything else; after learning the specific address Mr. Qi had given her for building the satellite, she went there herself.
Seeing that Tang Yue was about to leave again, Secretary Tian quickly stepped forward and handed her a key. "Comrade Tang, this is the key to room 201 of the guesthouse next door. Please stay there for now. Um, if I need anything, may I come to find you there?"
Tang Yue understood that this was because they hadn't been able to find her last night, and she nodded, "Okay. But not during the day today, I have something to do outside."
