"Reporting, Company Commander! It was Commander Kang who just sent me to find you." He scratched his head sheepishly.
"When I got there and saw the company commander, I got so excited that I forgot everything else," Tang Yue said, waving her hand to indicate that she understood. She then headed straight for Commander Kang's office.
After thinking for a moment, Tang Yue took out several boxes of food prepared by the Russians from her spatial storage. They were all packaged in lunchboxes and were probably meant to be distributed to the workers. Without hesitation, Tang Yue took them out to give to Commander Kang.
Commander Kang had been waiting in his office for over an hour. Less than 10 minutes after Tang Yue returned to the family compound, Commander Kang received the message.
He thought the girl would definitely come looking for him, but he waited for an hour and no one came. He couldn't sit still any longer, thinking it wouldn't be appropriate for him to go there himself, so he asked the guard to go find Sun Jinan.
They asked Sun Jinan to call Tang Yue over, but unexpectedly, more than an hour has passed since Sun Jinan left, and he still hasn't arrived.
Old Kang's expression didn't look too good.
As Tang Yue knocked on the door, she heard Commander Kang shout angrily, "Come in!"
Tang Yue pushed open the door and came into the room carrying several boxed lunches. "Commander, have you eaten? Look what delicious food I brought you."
Commander Kang saw the door open and then saw several boxes. "These? They must be lunchboxes, right? Why are there so many? They're blocking the little girl's head." He watched as a stack of lunchboxes walked towards him.
If it weren't for the sound, I would have really thought it was haunted in the middle of the night.
"You little brat, you still care whether I've eaten or not? Humph!"
Tang Yue placed the lunchboxes on his desk. "I'm just picking out some good food for you, Commander. Please don't be angry, Commander. Take a look and see which ones you like to eat. You must eat more. I brought these back from Russia."
Upon hearing that Tang Yue had brought this back from Russia, Commander Kang immediately became a little uneasy. His gaze then fell on the lunchbox on the table. And indeed, it was! It contained all sorts of Russian cooking methods. Although Commander Kang had never been to Russia, he had heard quite a bit about the tastes and preferences of the people there.
After all, the older brother sent a lot of people to support them in the past few years, and some of them would bring some local specialties from their hometowns.
Commander Kang looked at the lunchboxes on the table with a complicated expression. "You even brought these back?"
Tang Yue raised an eyebrow. "So, Commander, what do you want me to bring back? And what don't you want me to bring back?"
Commander Kang glared at her, annoyed. "What is it that I don't want? I'd like you to bring back Mao's satellites and tanks!"
"Is it something you can just get back so easily?"
Tang Yue thought for a moment and nodded, "Yes, we brought them back. We brought back a few tanks, but fewer satellites, just one that was recently installed."
Commander Kang's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets; he genuinely couldn't believe Tang Yue's words. While the girl was reliable, bringing a satellite back from Russia was simply too incredible. Wait a minute! He seemed to have forgotten something.
He seemed to have heard that the satellite Russia was about to launch had been stolen.
Could this be true?
