The buildings in Bianyue Kingdom are generally low. The small courtyard that Tang Yue entered was very clean. There were three rooms in total. The rooms had been used for many years and were dark everywhere. However, looking around, this house was already the best house in this county.
Tang Yue went straight to the bed and sat cross-legged. Behind Ruan Wenxiong were a wizard and several elders, all of whom looked excited, as if they had something to say to Tang Yue, but dared not.
"Is there anything else?"
Nguyen Van Hung immediately spoke up, but to show their respect, they were about to kneel down, but the force struck again, and none of them could kneel down.
"Goddess, you just said you had something to do. What is it? Are we able to help you?"
Tang Yue frowned slightly. "I know that the Bianyue Kingdom has started a war, so I sent two of my protectors down to check the situation and, incidentally, to stop the war."
But a few days ago I suddenly couldn't sense their location anymore, so I came down to look for them.
The group exchanged bewildered glances. It turned out that the goddess hadn't come on purpose at all. Fortunately, the sorcerer performed a ritual at that moment; otherwise, they would never have seen the goddess in their lifetime.
One of the elders stepped forward and said, “Your Majesty, this is your servant Huang Zhiping. Your Majesty, may I ask what your two great protectors look like? We have lived here all our lives and are very familiar with the area. We can help you find the whereabouts of your two great protectors. You can rest assured and wait for news here.”
Tang Yue seemed reluctant, but she didn't immediately refuse. She was clearly weighing the feasibility of doing so. Ruan Wenxiong quickly stepped forward to explain, "Goddess, please don't misunderstand. We are truly your devout servants; we simply wish to admire your true face more often, and have no other intentions."
Tang Yue's expression softened; she neither agreed nor disagreed. Just then, there was a sound outside the door. An elder went to open it, and Ah Zhen and her mother walked in respectfully, carrying two trays full of food.
The two placed the food on a table to the side, then stood aside. Nguyen Van Hung respectfully stepped forward and said, "Please, Goddess, dine!"
Tang Yue looked at the food on the tray; just by looking at the colors of the dishes, she could tell they had been prepared with care. Ruan Wenxiong was afraid that the goddess would be dissatisfied, so he quickly stepped forward to explain, "Your Majesty, there is a war going on here, and most of the fields have been abandoned. Our lives are indeed difficult."
Tang Yue looked at the dishes; most of them were made from corn and sweet potatoes, and a bowl of rice was filled to the brim, seemingly the most precious food in the meal.
Tang Yue actually felt quite sorry for these people. She was just pretending to be a ghost, but she didn't want to take advantage of them.
She casually pointed, and suddenly two bags of rice appeared on the previously empty ground.
