The county magistrate and his men were very excited after hearing the goddess's words. "Goddess, please speak, we believers are all listening."
The Third Elder chimed in, "They usually eat quite well, so we try our best to save the best food for them."
After listening, Tang Yue nodded, then looked up at the sky and said, "Tomorrow I will hold a religious ceremony. You should bring all the sick women and children here."
The county magistrate was even more delighted upon hearing this; it seemed the goddess intended to intervene. But why not today? However, he didn't dare ask aloud. Tang Yue returned to the room prepared for her. The county magistrate and the others saw her to the door but didn't go in with her. It was too late now; Tang Yue checked the clock in her spatial storage—it was already past ten o'clock at night.
After the county magistrate and the others left, Tang Yue extended her consciousness and, seeing that no one was lying in wait around, lay down on the bed and fell asleep. It was her first time pretending to be a goddess, and she was exhausted from the whole day.
However, Tang Yue was pondering a question: should she wait until everything was confirmed here before continuing the search with Sun Jinan and Zhang Dabing, or should she make use of the surrounding resources?
After all, the people here are all natives. They must know a lot of places and people. No matter how well the battalion commander and his men went, it was impossible for them not to run into anyone.
With the help of the people here, she can at least quickly clear many areas. Besides, if she makes a big commotion here, won't the battalion commander and her father suspect her?
After sleeping for four hours, Tang Yue disappeared into the county town. During the day, the numerous yellow papers pasted all over the city walls were quite frightening, but at night, with everything pitch black, that intimidating effect was gone.
Sun Jinan and Zhang Dabing didn't dare to go to sleep in the middle of the night. Tang Yue arrived just as they were changing shifts. Neither of them heard a sound before Tang Yue was already standing in front of them.

Sun Jinan immediately nodded in agreement. Tang Yue smiled, having just observed their demeanor and now being somewhat taken aback. They were about the same height, nearly 180cm, though Sun Jinan appeared slightly thinner. As for his looks, he had a rather sunny disposition.
Zhang Dabing always had a tough-guy look. Tang Yue thought about the looks she had envisioned for them, and a smile unconsciously crept onto her face.
Zhang Dabing and Sun Jinan instinctively wanted to back away. They hadn't spent much time with their company commander, but he rarely smiled so strangely. What did this mean? Why did they feel like they were being watched?
Tang Yue stood up. "Let's go. The plan to go to the market tomorrow has changed, so we can only look for those things I mentioned tonight."
The two were very obedient. They immediately got up, extinguished the fire, and buried it before following Tang Yue toward the market.
It must be said that every country has its own unique characteristics. The bold use of color and patterns in the clothing of the border region of Vietnam is simply incomparable to that of China. Not to mention Japan and Russia.
Tang Yue had packed away a lot of supplies from her space, but there was still a lot of fabric, though it was really hard to find something like the kind from Bian Yue Kingdom.
The group made their way to the market in the dark. The stalls that had been set up during the day were all packed up, but behind many of the stalls were low shacks, where many people lived along the street. The group made no sound.
Fortunately, her consciousness could be controlled only by mental power and could be restored. Tang Yue scanned the area with her consciousness and saw several packages in a shed in the middle of the street, all filled with clothes.
Even with their excellent night vision, Sun Jinan and Zhang Dabing couldn't distinguish the colors of the fabrics. Tang Yue told them to wait aside while she quietly went over and picked out several large pieces of floral fabric and clothes. Before leaving, she placed 30 kilograms of rice next to the package.
Well, this should be considered an equivalent exchange.
The group quietly left again. Back at the camp, after the fire was lit, Sun Jinan and his companion stared silently at the floral fabric in Tang Yue's hands. This was just too much...
Tang Yue raised her chin. "What's wrong? Hurry up and put it on. Let me see if there's anything else I need to do."
Sun Jinan's teeth ached. "Company Commander, are we really going to wear this? This is just too inappropriate."
Tang Yue didn't speak, but just stared at Sun Jinan with her big, round eyes.
Sun Jinan and Zhang Dabing, feeling utterly helpless under their gazes, could only go into the tent to change their clothes. A short while later, two men dressed in bright red and green floral clothing emerged, with different colored floral fabrics draped over their shoulders.
Tang Yue held back her laughter; it was truly hilarious. Although she had imagined the scene in her mind, she still couldn't help but laugh when she actually saw it.
Zhang Dabing's face turned red. "Company Commander, is this really necessary?"
Tang Yue rolled her eyes. "How could the dignified goddess of heaven have her protectors dressed in shabby clothes?"
"A protector?" Sun Jinan hadn't expected that his company commander would actually become the goddess in their eyes. "Company commander, Da Bing and I don't know any magic."
