But they had already found something, so how could they stop? An American soldier pulled several papers from Gagarin's lower back and immediately handed the documents to his superior.
The officer's expression changed when he saw the contents of the document. "It really was you. Gagarin, we've been watching you for a long time, and today you've finally slipped up."
Gagarin struggled desperately, trying to break free from the two American soldiers who were holding him.
But all of this was in vain; he couldn't break free at all. Gagarin glared at Chang Yin with a sinister look. "It's you, it's you, isn't it? This thing isn't mine, it must be his, it really is his."
The officer remained unmoved by Gagarin's sophistry, instead turning to Chang Yin. "I'm sorry I don't know your name yet, but I already know of your loyalty to the United States. I will apply for commendation for you from my superiors. Leave your information and go back to rest."
"Yes, sir." After Chang Yin explained his whereabouts to one of the American soldiers, he began to inquire about Tang Shengkai.

One of the American soldiers immediately said, "He's wounded and has been taken to the medical center. You can go there to see him."
The officer seemed unaware of the situation, so the American soldier immediately explained it to him. The officer's face lit up with admiration, and he even gave Chang Yin a thumbs-up. "Jon, you guys are all excellent."
"Thank you, sir. I'm going to see my comrades now."
Gagarin continued to try to defend himself, but faced with the evidence, anything he said was futile.
Chang Yin ran all the way to the medical center, where Tang Shengkai had already been wheeled in for surgery. He had many stab wounds, the most fatal being the one in his abdomen. Fortunately, Gagarin used a razor blade; otherwise, Tang Shengkai's entire abdomen would have been cut open. However, Tang Shengkai wasn't much better off now.
Chang Yin waited outside the operating room for three hours before the doctor finally wheeled Tang Shengkai out. Tang Shengkai had been given anesthesia and was unconscious at the time.
Tang Yue was delighted to hear from the county magistrate that someone had seen the two protectors. She decided to go to Xiangxi County next door that evening to check things out. Maybe her father and the battalion commander were hiding there?
But before they even set off, Tang Yue suddenly felt a pang of heart palpitation.
