Chapter 485 Killing Blake

Chang Yin's heart was pounding. He wasn't sure what Blake's identity was. But now was not the best time. He blurted out anxiously, "It's the fuel depot in the northwest corner of the base!"

Chang Yin pointed to a giant building in the distance, "There's a lot of explosive fuel stored there. If it explodes, the entire base will be destroyed. Blake is definitely plotting something crazy."

Chang Yin had certainly considered that place, otherwise he wouldn't remember it so clearly. However, Blake absolutely could not interfere with his plans. Destroying Base 5 was one thing, but he also wanted to take some valuable US military data from there.

Before they succeeded, Chang Yin didn't want to perish in the fire. The two cautiously approached the fuel depot, the pungent smell of gasoline hitting them in the face.

The warehouse door was locked, but the clanging of metal could still be heard from inside. Chang Yin gestured for Tang Shengkai to flank from the side door, while he held his breath, broke the large lock on the door with one hand, and slowly pushed it open.

The warehouse was filled with fuel barrels taller than a person, and moonlight streamed in from the broken roof, casting dappled shadows on the ground.

"Blake! Come out!" Chang Yin shouted, his voice echoing in the empty warehouse. He shouted because he couldn't hear a third person breathing.

A cold laugh echoed from the darkness as Blake appeared, flamethrower in hand, orange-red flames dancing at the nozzle: "Haha, so it's you! I knew you yellow-skinned pigs were no good; my intuition is never wrong. But you're not leaving here today!"

As he spoke, he pulled the trigger, and a blazing tongue of fire swept towards Chang Yin.

Chang Yin rolled away from the flames, simultaneously throwing his dagger. The dagger grazed Blake's shoulder and embedded itself in a nearby fuel barrel.

Blake laughed maniacally, manipulating the flamethrower to fire indiscriminately, causing the temperature inside the warehouse to rise sharply, as if the air itself were about to burst into flames.

Tang Shengkai burst in through the side door, only to be stopped by two of Blake's men. Chang Yin hadn't even noticed when the two had appeared. They brandished machetes, their blades gleaming coldly. Tang Shengkai dodged the blades, his short knife piercing one man's abdomen, followed by a spinning kick that sent the other sprawling to the ground.

He often darted through the gaps in the flames, searching for an opportunity to retaliate. He noticed the densely packed fuel barrels behind Blake; if Blake aimed his musket at those barrels, an explosion would immediately follow.

Chang Yin picked up the iron bar from the ground and smashed it towards Blake's face.
