Judging from their bone structure, those people seemed quite similar to those from the United States and Germany. Tang Yue squinted, focusing more on the Asian faces. She wondered how many of them were Chinese.
If they are Chinese, are they here to study, or simply to serve Russia? In any case, she needs to understand what this place is for.
She moved cautiously around the room, carefully examining the instruments. In a prominent position, a mechanical model caught Tang Yue's attention.
The model is cylindrical in shape, covered with a metal shell that gleams with a cold luster. Several slender yet robust solar panels extend from one side of the model. These panels are made of a special material, their surfaces covered with densely packed crystals that shimmer with tiny sparkles in the dim light. Tang Yue guessed that these were key components used to absorb solar energy and convert it into electricity.
At the top of the model, a huge parabolic antenna stands out. The antenna's surface is as smooth as a mirror, with precise curvature. Tang Yue can feel the hardness and precision of the material by gently touching it.
She couldn't help but wonder, what exactly was the purpose of these devices? And, Tang Yue felt they looked somewhat familiar. Where had she seen them before? She felt she had seen them before, but they certainly weren't things she was familiar with. She probably had only seen them briefly, without paying much attention to them.
Tang Yue arrived at a large control room. The walls of the control room were covered with huge screens, displaying various data and images.
Some of the images resembled satellite cloud images of Earth, with interwoven blocks and lines of different colors creating a mysterious and spectacular scene; others were strings of complex numbers and irregular charts, the meaning of which Tang Yue couldn't decipher at all, but her intuition told her that they were all related to the core secrets here.
In the center of the control room, there was a huge control panel covered with various buttons and joysticks, all labeled in Russian.
Tang Yue leaned closer to the control panel. Although she couldn't read the words on it, she noticed, thanks to her keen observation, that the layout of the buttons and joysticks seemed to follow a certain pattern.
She tried to press a button gently, and instantly, a nearby instrument emitted a rapid beeping sound, startling Tang Yue into quickly releasing it.
"What's going on? Why is there a noise here? Who touched it?" A man with an Asian face wearing a white coat asked seriously in fluent Russian.
