The layout inside came into view, and Tang Yue peered into the safe. Inside were some documents, letters, and several thick books. She eagerly picked up the top document and quickly began to peruse it.
The contents of the document shocked her; it contained a cooperation agreement between the Miyazaki family and a mysterious organization. Tang Yue seemed to have seen the organization's logo somewhere before, but for a moment she couldn't quite place it.
When Tang Yue saw the contents clearly, she understood, and a cold smile played on her lips. It turned out that this symbol was a secret underground mark of the Hatoyama family, unknown to most people.
This agreement was signed privately by Miyazaki Rin and Hatoyama Futakawa. The contents of the document were quite clear: the two had new plans regarding Japan's economy, seemingly aiming to control the entire country's economic lifeline. Tang Yue didn't pay much attention; these things weren't really her concern, and she didn't care about matters concerning Japan.
Setting the file aside, Tang Yue continued to browse through the other documents, discovering that they mentioned names and locations that seemed to be important information related to this mysterious organization.
The name Hua Guowen was marked in parentheses after all these names. Tang Yue's heart started racing. She realized that she seemed to have discovered a shocking secret.
She set the documents aside and picked up the letters next to them. The contents of these letters were even more cryptic, but Tang Yue still managed to piece together some key information.
It turns out that this mysterious organization, the underworld force of the Hatoyama family, is plotting a huge conspiracy. Their target seems to be the entire country of Japan, and may even involve other countries.
The Miyazaki family played a crucial role in this conspiracy, not only providing support to the mysterious organization but also attempting to use the opportunity to expand their own power. For the past decade, they had shared a common goal: to invade and occupy China. Years of military conflict had failed to cripple China; instead, it had led to its liberation. Unsatisfied, their next objective was plunder—a complete plunder of both its economy and resources.
Tang Yue felt her fist harden. She decided to take all the documents and letters with her, to hand them over to the relevant departments as evidence when she returned to China. She could wipe out this family, but how long could she possibly wipe them all out by herself?
Some things don't seem to need to be resolved entirely with force. Perhaps once this news gets out, Japan can wipe them out on its own? And that Emperor probably won't just stand by and watch others dismantle his power, right?
Just as she was about to throw the documents into her spatial storage, she suddenly heard a soft footstep outside. She raised an eyebrow, threw the documents into her storage, held her breath, and listened carefully to the sounds outside.
The footsteps grew closer, and Tang Yue held her breath, hiding behind the desk. The study door was slowly pushed open, and a beam of flashlight shone in. Through the crack in the desk, she saw a figure enter the study—it was Hirayama Ichiro, Miyazaki Takuya's capable assistant.
Hirayama Ichiro looked around the study, his eyes revealing vigilance. He seemed to sense something was amiss and walked straight towards the desk.
Tang Yue gripped the dagger firmly, ready to strike at any moment.
Just as Hirayama Ichiro was about to reach the desk, suddenly, the hooting of an owl came from outside the window. Hirayama Ichiro paused, startled, and looked out the window. Tang Yue no longer hid; she seized the opportunity to rush out from behind the desk, jumped onto it, and held a dagger to Hirayama Ichiro's neck.
"Don't make a sound, or you'll be dead!" Tang Yue said coldly in a low voice.
Hirayama Ichiro's body froze instantly. He dared not move and could only obediently comply. "Young Miss, why are you here?" Hirayama Ichiro asked calmly.
During the day, Miyazaki Takuya went to the hotel with Hirayama Ichiro. Tang Yue's voice was very distinctive; even when she tried to lower her voice, its soft and sweet quality couldn't be completely concealed.
This is also one of Tang Yue's biggest headaches. Being short and having a soft voice are currently the two problems that Tang Yue finds most difficult to solve.
Tang Yue didn't answer his question, but instead asked, "What exactly is the conspiracy between the Miyazaki family and that mysterious organization? What is your purpose?"
Hirayama Ichiro hesitated for a moment, then remained silent. Tang Yue increased the pressure on her hand, the tip of the dagger piercing Hirayama Ichiro's skin, drawing a trickle of blood. "I'll talk, I'll talk!" Hirayama Ichiro seemed to give in.
But before Tang Yue could hear a single word, Hirayama Ichiro looked up and tried to grab her wrist, which was holding the dagger. Tang Yue used her other hand to dislocate Hirayama Ichiro's arm. Hirayama Ichiro groaned, not daring to make a sound.
After all, his presence in the old master's study at this time was inexplicable, and if he were discovered, the old master would never be able to clear his name.
Tang Yue's voice turned several degrees colder, "You're really dishonest."
Since he didn't want to tell the truth, Tang Yue wasn't going to press him any further. She knocked Hirayama Ichiro unconscious and then used an invisibility talisman to return to her room.
Tang Yue threw the person to the ground and sighed softly. She had originally wanted to rely entirely on her own strength, but in that situation, it was too unsafe to stay in the study.
Fortunately, she had taken everything out of the study, leaving nothing for that old man.
Tang Yue took out a packet of truth serum from her bag. She poured a little truth serum powder into a glass of water and then forced it into Hirayama Ichiro's mouth. After a while, Hirayama Ichiro's eyes became glazed over, and he began to answer Tang Yue's questions involuntarily.
