Tang Yue clenched her small hands, feeling that she had very little spiritual energy left in her body. Looking up at the planes circling high in the sky, Tang Yue gritted her teeth. Even if she had to exhaust all her spiritual energy, she would take everyone away today.
Tang Yue took out three pre-cut pieces of yellow talisman paper from her spatial storage. She didn't have time to prepare cinnabar; she hadn't prepared that before and didn't know if it was among the things she'd collected in Japan. But now wasn't the time to think about that.
Tang Yue used her spiritual power to cut her finger, and blood immediately gushed out. She then began drawing talismans on the paper with her finger. Tang Jianye watched the entire time with his mouth agape, but couldn't utter a single word.
These were completely beyond his comprehension. Could China still use these things now?
Tang Jianye began to doubt whether the two of them were actually in China.
Tang Yue quickly drew three talismans. She glanced at Tang Jianye; it wasn't enough for just the two of them. Just as she was about to turn away, footsteps sounded a few meters away. Fei Bing appeared before them, a worried expression on her face.
"What's wrong? Little girl, can't you run anymore? Come on, I'll carry you." Fei Bing squatted down in front of Tang Yue without hesitation, stretching her arms behind her back as if to protect her.
A surge of emotion welled up in Tang Yue's heart, and she felt a warmth spreading through her cold body. However, Tang Yue didn't move. "Get up, I have something to tell you."
Fei Bing didn't hesitate. This was a critical moment, and even a second of hesitation could have dire consequences.
"Okay, go ahead. As long as it's something I, Fei Bing, can do, I won't hesitate."
Tang Yue glanced at the two of them and handed them the talisman in her hand. "You two run in opposite directions and stop where you can see clearly. Don't worry about anything after that."
At this point, Tang Yue felt something was off. "Don't panic if you see anything on the ground later. Remember, it's all fake. Just take care of yourselves."
Be very careful of aircraft in the air. If a plane launches a missile at your location, run immediately. Don't worry about the people around you; they're all decoys. Got it?
Tang Jianye and Fei Bing said they remembered.
"Hold this talisman in your hand, and when it sets on its own, throw it on the ground. Remember that."
After the two nodded again, Tang Yue shouted "Let's go!" and the group ran off in different directions.
Tang Yue was completely exhausted. Her meridians had been aching terribly while she was drawing the talisman, and every step she took was torture. She never imagined that being completely drained of her spiritual energy would feel like this.
But even so, she couldn't stop. Those men in black had been tortured by the Japanese for so many years; how innocent they were! She had to bring them all back to China. Absolutely, all of them.
Tang Yue hadn't gone very far; a distance of a dozen meters was already her limit. Now, she needed to conserve her strength.
Pilot Y kept scanning the area centered on Tang Yue with his searchlight. He felt that those people couldn't have gone far, but one or two people weren't worth wasting a missile on, so he had to find where they were gathered.
Tang Yue felt that the time was almost up, so she used the last bit of spiritual power in her body to activate the three talismans. It was only because the distance between them was not far that Tang Yue thought she would not have been able to succeed at all.
Tang Jianye and Fei Bing ran in different directions, but they both noticed as they left that the little girl was now exhausted, and they both had the same thought in their minds.
They couldn't stray too far from the little girl, otherwise, they wouldn't have time to support her later. The two stopped after running about 100 meters. The vegetation in their area wasn't very lush, and before they even stood still, the talismans in their hands suddenly burst into flame without fire.
Although the two were not in the same place, their movements were perfectly synchronized as they threw the talismans they held onto the ground. After the talismans burned out, they discovered that many men in black had appeared around them.
They couldn't make out the faces of these people. But there were definitely many, many men in black around them. Fei Bing swallowed hard, his mind replaying many stories he had heard as a child.
These things... they don't seem to be human at all. Fei Bing felt a chill run from the top of his head to the soles of his feet, and the cold sensation made him shiver twice.
But being a soldier, despite his growing fear, he remained firmly planted on the ground. His fists were clenched, alert to any unexpected situations that might arise.
Tang Jianye was slightly better than Fei Bing, but not by much. Actually, he had some ideas in mind when Tang Yue was drawing the talisman, but he didn't expect it to be so exciting.
Although he felt that the people in front of him were not real, the sudden appearance of so many black-clad men whose faces he could not see in an open space still gave Tang Jianye a chill down his spine.
However, the planes in the sky didn't give them much time to think. Pilot Y's searchlight kept sweeping the surrounding area, and when he saw a large group of men in black at Fei Bing's location, he was extremely excited.
Just then, an aircraft flew overhead, and pilot Y immediately issued commands: "F-16, F-16, respond, respond, cease flight! Cease flight!"
Upon hearing Pilot Y's call, the F-16 pilot immediately stopped the flight and then responded to Pilot Y.
"Received, please provide instructions."
"F-16, F-16, there are several men in black lurking directly below your aircraft. Please launch missiles directly below your aircraft."
"yes!"
Even in his shock, Fei Bing couldn't ignore the planes circling overhead. He suppressed his fear and looked up, just in time to see the planes dropping missiles.
