Unaware of the sudden change in the sky, the command center personnel exchanged glances. One of the commanders immediately picked up his communicator and urgently shouted, "F-07, F-07, respond if you hear me! Respond if you hear me! Report your situation immediately!"
The sound spread outwards from the tense laboratory, but received no response. The work being carried out by various departments on the ground, who were making emergency preparations, paused for a moment before resuming.
However, they would keep an eye on the situation in the air from time to time.
The pilots in several planes had beads of sweat on their foreheads as they frantically operated various buttons, trying to regain control of the aircraft, but all their efforts were in vain.
They heard the calls from the call center, but every time they pressed the voice button to speak, a malfunction would occur, and they couldn't get a single word out.
The indicator lights on the dashboard flashed incessantly, as if countless hands were frantically trying to type on a keyboard, threatening to crash the dashboard at any moment. The co-pilots frantically tried to contact the command center, but all they heard on the communication channel was a despairing static.
"What's going on? Why is this happening?" Pilot A roared angrily, slamming his fist on the instrument panel. His eyes were filled with fear and helplessness; the plane was like a wild beast out of control, completely disobeying his commands.
"Calm down!" the co-pilot shouted. "Let's think of another way. We must have accidentally bumped into something to cause this problem. Calm down and think carefully, is there anything else we haven't noticed?"
Despite his efforts to remain calm, his slightly trembling hands betrayed his inner tension.
It's no wonder they couldn't control their emotions; at that moment, the plane was like a bungee jumper at high altitude, and the rapid, uncontrolled descent was truly maddening.
After all attempts to salvage the situation failed, just as the pilots were feeling hopeless, the plane suddenly became eerily calm.
The indicator lights, which had been flashing wildly, stopped blinking, and the plane took off smoothly without any more turbulence. The pilots and co-pilots exchanged glances, their eyes filled with the joy of escaping a desperate situation.
"What happened? Has it returned to normal?" the co-pilot asked cautiously. Driver A shook his head, his vigilance undiminished: "Don't relax yet, we don't know if there will be any more problems later."
Just as the driver and co-pilot were filled with doubt and extreme tension, a sudden, sharp pain shot through their necks. They tried to communicate again, but had lost the ability to speak. Both heads slumped down simultaneously.
This situation was also occurring on other planes, but the location of the pain varied. Some experienced sharp pain in their necks, while others felt as if their heads had been struck hard before losing consciousness. The planes seemed to be taken over by some unseen force.
Tang Yue, sitting on the roof of the command center vehicle, sensed the consciousness of the Big Head Needle and the others. A slight smile played on her lips; they were quite fast. Tang Yue immediately ordered them to fly smoothly for a moment.
Several officers in the command center saw the plane take off normally in the air, seemingly without incident. "This? It's alright?"
The commander who had just called the plane picked up the intercom again, but before he could make a sound, a strange thing happened. He found himself unable to move or make a sound, as if he had been frozen in place.
Another commander was waiting for him to speak, and seeing that he remained motionless, he grew somewhat angry and was about to question him when he found himself unable to open his mouth. The same thing happened throughout the entire laboratory, even the underground warehouse.
Tang Jianye and his group led all the men in black back to their room, while Han Dayong and the others were very worried about the situation outside.
"Old Tang, should we go out and help her? Is she safe alone?"
Fei Bing was already itching to try it. After taking the medicine Tang Yue gave him, he felt no different from a normal person. "I'll go out and take a look first."
"Wait a minute!" Tang Jianye said seriously. "Have you forgotten her abilities? As long as she doesn't let anyone move, who can move at all?"
Seeing that the others remained silent, he continued, "I think that the biggest help we can give her right now is for us not to go out."
Tang Jianye was also feeling terrible at the moment. This girl's abilities were too incredible. Even if they wanted to help, they didn't know what they could do.
Han Dayong understood Tang Jianye's meaning and agreed with his suggestion, but he still wanted to go out and see what the situation was like outside. He opened his mouth to say, "I'll go to the door and see what's going on," but why couldn't he open his mouth?
The others seemed to want to speak, but in that instant, unable to utter a word, they understood. They exchanged glances, a helpless, bitter smile on their faces. With such meager abilities, how could they possibly go out and help? They'd been easily trapped.
Tang Yue swung her legs back and forth until all the sounds around her disappeared before standing up and spinning in the air. If anyone could see Tang Yue, they would think the girl was really amazing, walking in the air with such ease.
If you looked closely at her face, you would notice that her face was a little pale, and fine beads of sweat were seeping from her forehead. This was her first time trying the spatial immobilization technique recorded in the book, which would isolate an entire space at once and freeze all living beings in place. It really consumed a lot of spiritual energy and mental strength.
As she walked forward step by step, the armored vehicles, trucks, airplanes, and all the equipment brought by the Japanese army on the ground disappeared. Even the weapons, ammunition, and instruments carried by these soldiers vanished along with them.
Everyone was frozen in place, watching as the object in front of them suddenly vanished. Their faces remained expressionless, but their hearts were pounding with panic. What was going on?
