With a loud "bang," several bricks dented instantly. Everyone else stared in disbelief.
Commander Huang and the others came down from the second floor after hearing the noise. Chang Yin didn't stop and slowly took out the bricks that had sunk in.
A space half a meter deep was exposed.
What comes into view are books, many of which have Japanese characters directly on the cover.
The expressions on everyone's faces could not be described as shock. When the clean and tidy samurai uniform and bayonet were taken out, everyone was completely awake.
Tang Yue didn't participate in what happened after that. When Nie Youyu heard the wall being chiseled in the bedroom, his first reaction was to run, but Tang Yue immediately used her spiritual power to restrain his legs.
While things were still in disarray, Tang Yue led Sun Jinan and the others on a hasty escape.
The group remained mostly silent throughout the journey. Tang Yue, despite a long day of activity, was still in high spirits. She felt a pang of regret; she hadn't kept a single yuan of those coins.

Sun Jinan asked this question softly while keeping his eyes on the road ahead and driving.
Tang Yue was somewhat puzzled by their silence. "Because they might be Japanese. Or perhaps they are descendants of Japanese and Chinese people. They believe that life in Japan is better than in China, and that there are endless possibilities there."
Perhaps the promises Japan made were too tempting, or perhaps Japan had already offered them some benefits. Therefore, they believed that was the most correct path.
Tang Yue spoke without any emotion; she felt that was how it should be. Without mentioning any sense of national or familial responsibility, anyone would choose the path most advantageous to themselves.
If her family hadn't all been in China, Tang Yue might not have helped the Chinese military with those things.
"Company Commander, would you do anything to betray China?"

She wasn't really a five-year-old child; she understood the meaning behind Sun Jinan's question. It probably contained so much. They both knew their own abilities; if they continued to serve China, they might truly be able to change many things.
At the same time, if Tang Yue were to leave China one day, or even betray China, the consequences would be something Sun Jinan and the others could not fully foresee even now. They all must deeply love this land.
Tang Yue didn't think there was anything wrong with what he said. She had discussed this issue directly with Commander Kang.
She looked out at the night sky. Actually, this land wasn't so unpleasant after all; on the contrary, she was slowly starting to like it.
Everyone in the car pricked up their ears, waiting for Tang Yue's answer.
