Chapter 46 The Final Battle in the Courtyard

Tang Yue?

How come she didn't know she was so popular with children?

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief; at least the crying had stopped.

But Tang Yue looked at Tang Shengkai, who was holding her, and then turned to Chang Yin, "Uncle, my dad injured his leg before and has just recovered. He can't carry anything too heavy right now. Why don't you carry me instead?"

Chang Yin's cold and hard face revealed no emotion, but he didn't move. He just glanced at Wang Ming sideways. Wang Ming touched the tip of his nose. This little girl has quite a lot of things to do.

He walked over with a grin, "Little sister, your boss still has a lot of things to deal with, shall I carry you?"

Tang Yue didn't care. As long as she established her child persona, she was fine with anyone carrying her as long as she didn't walk.

Tang Shengkai didn't want to let go of his daughter at all, but his daughter felt sorry for him, which comforted him.

The children were led out of the courtyard by the crowd, and then out of the alley into several jeeps.

Tang Yue had almost never seen this kind of thing before in the county town. Sitting on it, it simply ran away, which Tang Yue found incredibly amazing. It seemed the people here also possessed spiritual power.

Should she continue to hide it? She'll ask her father later when no one's around.

The car drove for a long time before entering a military base in Liaoning Province. Tang Yue didn't know where they were. Tang Shengkai looked around and realized they had entered a military camp after the initial inspection.

He felt a surge of excitement. Would this be the place he would be staying in from now on? Tang Shengkai looked around curiously.

The car stopped next to the two-story building, and then Tang Shengkai and Tang Yue were assigned to different rooms.

Tang Yue disliked this place; it reminded her of the place where she was confined by her sect as punishment. She pouted, just as two soldiers walked in.

Tang Yue asked without hesitation, her eyes wide, "I'm hungry. Is there anything to eat? I really want some meat."

The two exchanged a glance and smiled. One of them went out, and a moment later Wang Ming came in carrying a metal lunchbox in one hand.

"Come on, little girl, it's time to eat. You're so picky, you still want meat. Here, this is braised pork that I just got from the cafeteria. Eat more."

Wang Ming had a teasing smile on his face, and Tang Yue didn't stand on ceremony. She took the lunchbox, picked up her chopsticks, and started eating.

While she ate, Wang Ming instructed her, "This is no small matter. Later, your uncle will come over to chat with you. He will ask you about being kidnapped by those bad guys. Just tell the truth."

Tang Yue mumbled something, glanced at Wang Ming, and didn't say anything.

Wang Ming thought she was just a child, and although her skills were somewhat unexpected, nothing serious would happen to her. After giving his instructions, he left.

Tang Yue had just finished eating when the soldiers inside took the lunchbox out, and three people walked in from outside.
