But the screwdriver showed no sign of stopping. Chang Yin heard the commotion outside, but his gaze remained fixed on the little girl in front of him.
Tang Yue turned around and saw Chang Yin's gaze. Tang Yue rolled her eyes. Was this something that couldn't be let go of?
"Uncle Chang, they said something's wrong. I've never seen that thing before, shall we go take a look?"
Chang Yin stood up, wanting to see what this little girl was up to.
Seeing Chang Yin walking ahead, Tang Yue quickly followed. Laboratory No. 4 was empty at the moment. The broken machine sat quietly on the table. Tang Yue walked over and touched the machine with her small hand.
The screwdriver was already eagerly moving inside the machine. Tang Yue found it strange; this thing seemed to possess the ability to become invisible? It could actually crawl in and out of the machine.
After a while, the screwdriver seemed to have found a good spot, but the gap was too small for it to work effectively. After several attempts, the screwdriver still couldn't get it right. Tang Yue then used her small hands to touch the machine to conceal the screwdriver's movements.
The screwdriver suddenly came to Tang Yue's mind. Tang Yue paused for a moment, wondering if it had realized it couldn't be fixed and had gone home in anger.
Her consciousness entered her mind, and she saw a screwdriver circling around a thumbtack, doing something she didn't know. In no time, the thumbtack and the screwdriver flew out together.
Tang Yue...
After the screwdriver found its place, Tang Yue watched as the pin slowly shrank to a size almost millimeter in diameter. Before Tang Yue could even react, the screwdriver itself shrank to a size smaller than the pin.
The pin stood in its place, supporting the two parts of the machine. The screwdriver started fiddling around inside, and soon it flew out and circled around the pin a few times.
The pin, without changing its shape or providing support, flew into the machine along with the screwdriver. A moment later, the machine emitted a series of knocking sounds.
Tang Yue had already seen with her consciousness what those two things were doing. The pin was using its multi-headed hanging part to forcefully strike a board, and through its strikes, the board was becoming thinner and thinner.
Hearing the knocking sound from the machine, Chang Yin quickly stepped forward. Tang Yue's hand was striking at the same frequency as the thumbtack. Chang Yin quickly stopped her, "What are you doing? Stop!"
Tang Yue didn't stop, "Uncle Chang, I think it might be that there's too much dust inside this machine, which is affecting its normal operation. Maybe if we tap it, the dust will be gone, and it will be normal."
Just as she finished hammering away at the pins, the image of the screwdriver and the pins returned to Tang Yue's mind. Tang Yue also stopped hammering.
Seeing that no one had returned yet, Chang Yin pulled Tang Yue away.
