Chapter 333 Playing Big

333

Tang Jianye kept looking up at Tang Yue. He had seen the little girl vomit blood, but he was helpless at the moment.

Whether it was because the missile explosion shocked the men in black or because Tang Yue's spiritual power had a nourishing effect on them, before the aftershocks of the missile had stopped, the men in black that Tang Jianye was holding down slowly stopped struggling and then lay weakly on the ground.

Tang Jianye sensed that these people had stopped struggling. Looking down, he saw several men in black lying limply on the ground, straining to look at the sky above.

"Old Tang..."

Tang Jianye's pupils widened as he stared incredulously at the person he was holding down on his left. "Old Chen, are you awake?"

Chen Duxing smiled weakly at him, not even having the strength to exchange a punch with him. "Hmm, what's going on?"

To be fair, Chen Duxing was incredibly unlucky. He had a weak tolerance to drugs, and he and Tang Jianye were captured around the same time. Tang Jianye regained consciousness shortly after his first injection and kept trying to evade it, succeeding each time by sheer luck.

However, with the same dosage, some of the men in black showed signs of waking up by the next injection, but Chen Duxing remained unresponsive each time. This made it impossible for Tang Jianye to wake him up quickly.

And so things went on, one delay after another, and before long, more than a year had passed.

Before Tang Jianye could speak, the roar from the sky grew closer, and several more planes flew towards them. "Damn it, the planes above must have contacted the others."

Chen Duxing's expression was solemn. Although he couldn't recall much for the moment, he could clearly see the flames in the air and the bright Japanese logo on the plane.

They are currently under siege by the Japanese. Not only Chen Duxing recognized this reality, but the others who were clear-headed also realized it. Tang Jianye quickly took out the pills Tang Yue had given him from his pocket, "Take these quickly."

Chen Duxing directly opened his mouth and bit the pill. Although the others didn't recognize Tang Jianye, they had spent more than a year together, so they felt a strange sense of familiarity. None of them struggled and ate the pills Tang Jianye gave them.

As soon as they swallowed the pills, they immediately felt the changes in their bodies. Tang Jianye stood up and said, "The Japanese are launching Type 64 Matter missiles at us. You don't need to know anything else. Just run 20 meters away from the blast site and you'll survive."

Brothers, it's up to you now.

After speaking, Tang Jianye didn't linger, because he had realized that not only these few had regained consciousness, but it seemed that everyone else had also recovered some awareness. Tang Jianye didn't have time to put them in his mouth one by one, but when he reached each person, he would say one sentence, "Eat it."

As more and more people took the pills, more and more of the men in black on the ground were able to move on their own. Apart from those who had just fled to who-knows-where, almost all the rest had taken the pills.

Han Dayong and Cao Shengli also had a dozen or so men in black. When Tang Jianye got the pills, he distributed a few to each of them, and now the men in black were able to move around.

"Old Tang, from now on, it's up to us. She..."

Han Dayong and Cao Shengli also saw Tang Yue's figure struggling to stay afloat high in the sky, holding off an exploding missile with her bare hands—this girl's strength was simply incredible. However, at the same time, they both saw the girl coughing up blood.

Their lives shouldn't be borne by this little girl alone. "Alright!" Tang Jianye raised his fist. "Brothers, are you ready?"

The others simultaneously raised their fists, saying nothing more, their fists making contact and then disengaging. "Brothers, if we survive this, we can go home."

The others chuckled, said nothing, and turned to leave. Tang Jianye looked at the tiny figure still supporting her in the air, "Tang Yue, hurry up and leave."

Tang Yue was focused entirely on maintaining the protective shield. She could sense the situation below, but she had no energy to pay attention to it. She had already exhausted most of her spiritual energy in the laboratory, and now, maintaining the shield, her spiritual energy was almost completely depleted.

Hearing Tang Jianye's voice, Tang Yue looked down and saw that all the men in black below had run away. Tang Yue didn't think much about what was going on. Most of the missile debris in the air had landed. Looking at the planes that kept flying towards them, Tang Yue's expression became serious.

Seeing that the little girl was still in mid-air, Tang Jianye said, "Tang Yue, hurry up and leave. They're all awake. We can manage."

Despite her headache, Tang Yue used her mental energy to survey the surroundings. Seeing that most of the men in black were indeed awake and able to find cover on their own, she felt much relieved.

But now is not the time to relax. She looked at Tang Jianye and said, "Run out of the mountains to the seaside. There are boats waiting for us there."

Sensing that Tang Jianye might not hear her, she used her spiritual power to say to the forest in the mountains, "Run out of the mountains, to the seaside, there are boats waiting for us there."

This time, not only Tang Jianye heard it, but everyone did. Even the pilots on the plane faintly heard Tang Yue's voice. The pilot who had just launched the missile immediately relayed the message to the other planes.

When they arrived, each plane was equipped with only two missiles. Their original intention was to come and vent their anger for the Emperor. Although the mountains in Hegequan were very large, they thought the terrorists should have already left.

So coming here to blast the mountain was just a formality. Who would have thought there were actually so many people here? The quickest ones have already launched both missiles. The least active ones have launched at least one.

Only pilot Y, who was piloting the searchlight, didn't drop it. He had just dropped one that exploded in mid-air upon impact, making this remaining missile extremely valuable.
