Chapter 48 "Rivals Meet"

This was the scene that Tang Shengkai and Tang Yue saw when they entered. Upon seeing the two enter the room, Lin Cuicui rushed over and hugged Tang Yue tightly, tears streaming down her face.

Even though she knew Tang Yue was alright, and the people who picked them up said Tang Yue was safe, the mother still couldn't put her mind at ease.

Seeing her daughter safe and sound in her arms, she finally felt completely at ease.

"Yueyue, Yueyue, I'm so glad you're alright."

Seeing Lin Cuicui so frightened, Tang Yue felt a pang of regret and a deep sense of unease. "I'm sorry, Mom."

Tang Yue wrapped her arms around Lin Cuicui's neck, feeling very guilty.

Lin Cuicui shook her head vigorously, "It's okay, it's okay, as long as Yueyue is alright, that's enough. As long as Yueyue is alright, Mom won't ask for anything else."

The three brothers surrounded Lin Cuicui, looking up at their sister with eyes full of joy.

The family was taken to a guesthouse, and Tang Yue honestly confessed that she had gone along voluntarily. Hearing that several other children had also been abducted by traffickers but were rescued this time, Lin Cuicui's anger subsided.

Her daughter did the right thing. If her daughter hadn't gone, the soldiers might not have found the children so quickly. Those children might have been taken to even more distant places.

Lin Cuicui looked at her little girl with relief. Ever since she was almost buried alive, the child seemed like a completely different person. But that was for the best. Otherwise, the child might not have even lived to adulthood.

"Yueyue did the right thing, Mommy isn't angry."

Tomorrow is the Lunar New Year, and Chang Yin and the others asked Tang Shengkai for his opinion. Tang Shengkai still decided to leave by car. The next morning, Chang Yin brought him a train ticket to Shenyang.

With the Lunar New Year approaching, so many people are going home that there are no more seated tickets on the trains, and everyone has to buy standing tickets.

The two-year-old child has been difficult to take care of these past few days. He cries to everyone he sees, even when he's alone. Chang Yin brought him to Tang Yue's place last night. They're leaving today, and Chang Yin is having a headache.

Their mission was to take the child back, but if the child kept crying, something bad would happen. Chang Yin didn't know what to do.

Tang Yue wasn't much taller than that child.

"May I have your name?"

The child, who had only recently learned to speak, stopped crying upon hearing Tang Yue's soft, sweet voice. "Yang, Yangyang."

Tang Yue looked down at him intently, feeling a sense of superiority. Since arriving here, she had mostly spoken with her head held high, never once looking down at anyone, and now she felt quite at ease.

"Yangyang, your sister is going somewhere else."

She pointed to Chang Yin and the others, "They are good people, they came here specifically to save you. Do you miss your parents? They miss you very much at home. Don't cry, hurry up and go home with them."

Yang Yang's real name is An Zuyang. Although he is young, he knows a lot. Everyone he meets is a stranger. When he was about to fall out of the arms of woman C, it was this young lady who caught him. He felt that this young lady was the closest to him.

"No!"
