Chapter 306 First Encounter with the Pirate Island Crisis

306

Tang Yue sensed the approaching danger, but she remained calm, casually turning around with a cold glint in her eyes. Before the pirate could react, he was blasted away by a powerful force, crashing heavily to the ground and losing consciousness.

The pirates had already realized Tang Yue's prowess, but since she had come to their pirate island, they were determined to either capture her or eliminate her, no matter what.

The second-in-command, who had been following Tang Yue's boat back, was bewildered by the scene on the island. Had their boss not actually defeated those people? Or had they been feigning defeat to come back with their boss?

Otherwise, why would they be fighting at this time? With a "smack," he received another heavy blow to the forehead, and the young man looked up at the second-in-command with a wronged expression.

The second-in-command was so angry his heart and lungs felt like they were about to burst. "You idiot, are you blind? Didn't you see the flag signals just now? This was the boss's plan! You moron!"

Upon hearing this, the young man immediately perked up. He stopped rubbing his head and grinned obsequiously at the second-in-command, "Hehe, second-in-command, let's speed up. How can a fight be complete without my participation?"

The second-in-command glared at him. "You brainless idiot, all you know how to do is fight and kill? Can't you do anything else? Just stay put."

The young man pouted, looking aggrieved. "Second Master, you can see that our men are clearly no match for those people. I have to go back and help."

The second-in-command raised his hand, and this time the young man immediately dodged. The second-in-command raised his hand again to scare him, "Since you've already figured it out, why are you running back?"

The young man stared at him in shock. Good heavens, was the second-in-command going to run away? Was he abandoning the boss? A flash of disdain crossed the young man's eyes.

The second-in-command, seeing that he didn't speak, knew he was up to something again, and quickly smacked him on the head. "Didn't you see? Huh? They're obviously no good at naval warfare, so they deliberately came to our island?"

We're blocking them here. Even if they're powerful on the island, as long as they don't come out, we'll wipe them all out. For every brother we lose, we'll cut flesh from their bones.”

The young man was somewhat agitated at the moment. He looked at the second-in-command with a serious expression and asked, "Second-in-command, are you really not planning to run away?"

"Smack!" He was hit on the head again.

On the island, the battle situation was far from optimistic. The pirates were gripped by fear, and Tang Yue hadn't gone all out; she wasn't yet certain whether these men had persecuted Chinese people.

It has to be said, there are just too many pirates on Pirate Island. As the battle continued, reinforcements from the pirates kept arriving. They poured out from every corner of the island, like a tide, shrinking the encirclement of Tang Yue and her companions.

Tang Yue keenly sensed that without her presence, their situation was becoming increasingly precarious. The pirates were not only numerous but also intimately familiar with the island's terrain, using this advantage to launch continuous attacks on Tang Yue and her companions.

Tang Yue didn't want to reveal too much at the moment. She looked around and found that they had been forced into a narrow valley.

The valley was flanked by steep cliffs, with only a narrow passage leading to the outside. Tang Yue tried to recall their battle route, but she couldn't figure out how they had ended up here.

The group from China weren't stupid; wherever Tang Yue fought, they followed. At this moment, Tang Yue stood with the others in the valley, watching the pirates around them.

The pirates were no longer arrogant. They deployed heavy troops at the entrance of the passage, with fierce firepower, making it extremely difficult for Tang Yue and the others to break out.

Gu Yanxi came to Tang Yue's side. His face was covered in blood, but there was no fear in his eyes.

He looked at Tang Yue and said, "We're surrounded, what do we do?" His voice was somewhat nonchalant. It wasn't that Gu Yanxi was arrogant; he already knew Tang Yue's capabilities, and this small situation was nothing to her.

However, Gu Yanxi naturally realized that Tang Yue didn't want to show her true abilities, and he was happy to cooperate.

Tang Yue took a deep breath and said calmly, "Don't panic, we will definitely find a way to break through."

If Gu Yanxi hadn't been able to hold back, he would have already burst out laughing.

Tang Yue's consciousness scanned the valley, searching for a possible escape route. The pirates were familiar with the terrain, but there was definitely more than one way out. She discovered a hidden path on one side of the valley, winding and twisting towards the top of the cliff.

This place is quite peculiar. It's supposed to be an island, but it even has a cliff—something Tang Yue has never encountered before. At this moment, she misses South Island a little. Well, South Island does have quite a few rolling mountains.

Tang Yue's heart stirred; she knew that this path might be the key to survival for the Chinese people she had brought.

She turned to Gu Yanxi and said, "If we go up that path, we might be able to break through from the top of the cliff."

Gu Yanxi looked in the direction Tang Yue was pointing and frowned slightly. Actually, this path was very dangerous. When they went up, their battle line would be very long, and if the pirates launched a surprise attack on them, it would be quite easy.

But there was no better option at the moment, so he nodded and said, "Okay, I'll go with you."

Tang Yue didn't want to engage the pirates; after all, it was quite unbelievable that their firepower couldn't hit their side at all. After setting up a protective wall in front of the pirates, she rushed towards the path first.
