"If they find out, you won't be able to escape."
Tang Yue gave a sarcastic smile. "How do you know I can't get out? Didn't you notice anything different today?"
Tang Yue's reminder seemed to make Fei Bing realize that something was different. He remembered that the last time he was awake, one of his companions was also awake. He touched his companion, and after the alarm sounded, a large number of men in black rushed in.
He quickly cut down his companion, who soon lost his life. As the dark blood slowly spread on the ground, a loud clapping sound came from the doorway.
The black-clad guards clapped excitedly, as if watching some interesting spectacle. They were also exchanging excited chatter.
Fei Bing would never forget that day. After they had finished talking, someone reluctantly stepped forward and dragged their companion's body away like a dead dog. Fei Bing squeezed her eyes shut again at the bloodstain on the ground.
After opening his eyes, he looked down at Tang Yue intently, "What did you do?" He wasn't stupid, and he wanted to follow his heart's expectations just this once. He wanted to believe, just this once.
At worst, I'll never want to go back to China again; I'll just end it all while I'm still lucid.
Tang Yue didn't answer, "When will they wake up?"
Fei Bing looked at the black-clad men who had almost filled the room. "Those who just came in should take another three days. As for the others, they should all be conscious by tonight."
"Did you take turns being sober?"
Fei Bing forced a smile. "Sober? What kind of sober? Those with strong willpower can stay sober for a few hours, but for others, the effects of the drug haven't even worn off before they're already facing another round of injections."
Is there an antidote?
Fei Bing shook her head. "I don't know. Since we were controlled by this drug, we've had almost no chance to leave this room."
Tang Yue frowned, about to ask something, when the outer door was violently pushed open, followed by a cacophony of footsteps.
