When Chang Yin returned to his dormitory, he was about to take off his clothes when he heard a machine in the closet making a sound. He quickly put his clothes back on, went over and opened the closet. Sure enough, it was the machine that was making the sound, and Chang Yin's heart immediately started pounding.
He immediately translated the message. He had waited so many days only to receive these few words: "How can I speak with you?"
Chang Yin's eyes darkened. Had something happened to the little girl? Otherwise, why couldn't they contact each other like this? Why did they have to talk on the phone to resolve the issue?
Chang Yin didn't have time to think it through and immediately replied with two words, "Wait!" Then, carrying the machine, he rushed directly to the small building where Commander Kang was sitting.
Commander Kang was just about to rest for a while; it was almost dawn, so he decided not to go home. He needed to rest a bit, as he still had to wait for their mission report. But before he could even lie down, Chang Yin rushed in without even knocking.
"What's going on? Why the rush?"
At this moment, Chang Yin's face showed both excitement and some seriousness. He handed the note to Commander Kang. "Commander, Company Commander Tang wants to make a call."
Commander Kang immediately took the note, read it, and then looked at Chang Yin, "What do you think?"
Along the way, Chang Yin had sorted out his thoughts. He must have been too anxious just now. If the little girl was in danger, she wouldn't have had a chance to call them. Something important must have happened.
"I think she must have encountered some trouble that she needs us to help her resolve."
Commander Kang hesitated for a moment, then quickly dialed the number and hung up shortly after. "Wait, the international line here will be open soon. Have Tang Yue call back then."
Chang Yin waited quietly. After about ten minutes, the phone rang. After Commander Kang answered, the other party gave some instructions. Commander Kang nodded and said okay, then hung up and nodded to Chang Yin.
Chang Yin immediately sent a message to Tang Yue, asking her to call Commander Kang's office.
Tang Yue didn't sit idle at Miyazaki Feng's house. She couldn't get through by phone, and thinking that she couldn't leave empty-handed, she decided that typing was too slow. She thought that if necessary, she would first ransack Miyazaki Feng's house, and then board the ship to send those people back to China.
She had plenty of time to explain things clearly while at sea, but she was still somewhat unwilling to give up. She sent a message to Chang Yin to see if she could get through.
Unexpectedly, she received a reply while she was packing her things. Wait! Tang Yue frowned. She didn't have much time. If it took too long, she would have to do it next time.
That old fox Miyazaki Kaze is really cunning; Tang Yue actually found more than five hidden rooms in his house. Seriously, free stuff always smells amazing; Tang Yue felt like she couldn't move an inch.
So she kept receiving messages. When she received Chang Yin's message again, Tang Yue didn't even want to call anymore. She could just send him back, and then let them handle it later.
However, reason prevailed in the end, and Tang Yue returned to the phone, dialing the number she remembered. This time, the call connected quickly. Commander Kang's somewhat excited voice came from the other end.
"Hello?"
"Commander, it's me."
Commander Kang and Chang Yin exchanged a glance. Commander Kang nodded and continued listening to the phone. "How's it going on your end? Why haven't you contacted Chang?"
Tang Yue sensed that Commander Kang had omitted some details, presumably for the sake of secrecy, so she felt she should keep it brief as well. She then briefly explained the situation and mentioned that they would be setting off soon to send these people away.
She also mentioned Gu Yanxi. Tang Yue didn't plan to personally escort these people back to China. She would protect them until they reached waters near China, and then she would return. Another reason was that her spiritual energy was currently weak, and she needed to go to sea to absorb more spiritual power.
Commander Kang's expression was very grave. "Should we bring back both the living and the dead?"
Thinking of everything in the morgue, Tang Yue's eyes darkened slightly. "The living and the dead, I'm going to take them home myself."
Commander Kang was also in a heavy mood. After thinking for a moment, he asked, "Where do you plan to dock?"
Tang Yue had already thought about it. She had a general idea of the locations of the coastal cities in her mind, and considering the location of Miyazaki Prefecture, Tang Yue felt that Furuhashi Port should be the closest. "Furuhashi Port."
"Please arrange for someone to meet me at sea; I cannot return for the time being."
Before Commander Kang could say anything more, Tang Yue simply said, "I'm in a hurry here," and then hung up the phone.
Chang Yin, who had been waiting on the sidelines to answer the phone...
So I was just a messenger, huh? Anyway, the best news is that the little girl is alright.
Regardless of what further deployments Commander Kang makes, Tang Yue went directly to the port after finishing clearing the last secret room at Miyazaki Feng's place. Gu Yanxi was right; she needed to get the person away as soon as possible to avoid any unforeseen complications.
Gu Yanxi was indeed quite capable; by the time Tang Yue arrived, everything was already prepared. Everyone was eagerly awaiting Tang Yue's return.
"Is everything ready?"
Before Gu Yanxi could answer, everyone on the deck nodded excitedly, and those who were easily moved to tears began to sob.
Tang Yue raised an eyebrow. "Not bad, you're quite agile."
Gu Yanxi didn't take credit; on the contrary, he wasn't in a good mood. Most of the work had been done by the people behind him. And watching their thin bodies unleash such immense power, Gu Yanxi didn't know how to describe his feelings.
"Okay, are you done on your end? Let's go?"
"Well, but do you know how to sail a boat?"
Gu Yanxi... He looked at Tang Yue with a puzzled expression, "You're not Hai..."
