Chapter 116 The Radio is Freshly Made

116

Seeing that their master didn't stop them this time, the three worked even harder. After a series of clanging and banging, Tang Yue saw that the already small ancient jade had been reduced to the size of her fingernail by these guys.

But that wasn't all. After three more hammer blows, the ancient jade gradually became transparent, eventually fusing with the box's walls. This fusion caused a dramatic change in the entire box, and Tang Yue felt her body also undergo transformation.

When I reached out and looked, my little hand was covered in flesh and blood?

Tang Yue's consciousness left as soon as she tried to enter again, but her entire body ended up inside the space.

Before Tang Yue could even feel happy, the entire box had expanded many times over. After combining with the ancient jade, Tang Yue saw real mountains, rivers, and grasslands. The few things in her box lay forlornly on the grass, looking rather shabby.

Tang Yue looked down at the ground beneath her feet. The soil was fertile. Tang Yue...

Is this forcing her to be a hardworking child?

The three creatures leaped and bounded joyfully through the air, thoroughly delighted. Tang Yue sensed their emotions even more clearly now. She felt she could understand their thoughts more thoroughly.

Tang Yue hadn't expected such a miraculous change. She walked over and touched the lunchbox to check its temperature—it was the same as when she put it in. She then left the space again to check the time.

After several attempts, Tang Yue gained a general understanding of the space. Time flows within the space, but it remains relatively still compared to the outside world. Items placed inside can be preserved.

Tang Yue was quite satisfied with what she knew. As for what other features might be added in the future, she would wait until those were developed.

The three creatures followed Tang Yue out of the space. Now they could freely switch between Tang Yue's space, mind, and the outside world, and played for a long time before they stopped.

When Tang Yue went to bed, the three guys pointed at the pile of toys on the floor of Tang Yue's room.

With this amazing spatial ability, Tang Yue was overjoyed and rewarded herself with a good night's sleep.

But the ideal was far from perfect. Just as Tang Yue closed her eyes, a clattering sound came from the ground.

Tang Yue got up and looked over, only to see the three guys dismantling a radio from the box, leaving all the parts scattered on the ground.

Tang Yue found it strange; the radio should have been inside the box, so why were all the parts scattered on the ground? But when she saw the metal ring hooked onto the radio casing at the end of a pin, she understood everything.

During the day, Tang Yue read five books in a row, gaining a basic understanding of some modern electrical appliances. At first, she was surprised. She realized that all kinds of machinery required something called electricity to operate.

Through reading, she also came to understand that electricity, lightning, and the lightning-based superpowers of her era were similar in nature.

Tang Yue couldn't help but admire the people of this era. They possessed no supernatural abilities, yet they were able to develop the power of lightning through their imagination and apply it to various machines. Tang Yue thought she wished she had that kind of ingenuity.

While Tang Yue was lost in thought, the three guys had already started reassembling the radio. Tang Yue had learned a lot today and wanted to put it into practice.

She got out of bed, walked over, and squatted on the floor. She saw the three guys slowly starting to assemble the radio. As they assembled the various parts, Tang Yue, through their consciousness, could clearly understand the function and principle of each component.

They also knew what modifications these three guys made to the radio.

Through the combined efforts of the three guys, the internal circuitry of the radio was reorganized, and even the radio antenna was cut to different lengths by Hammer's split wrench to receive different frequency bands.

Tang Yue's eyes grew brighter as she looked at the last few pieces, but she frowned slightly when assembling them.

The designs were all ingenious, but they fell apart during the final assembly.

Tang Yue finally realized that they were replicating the original appearance of the radio.

Tang Yue refused. How could that be? It turned out that the radio was absolutely hideous, and Tang Yue preferred delicate and beautiful things.

So he started directing the three guys to tweak the radio's appearance. They polished the rusty metal sheet with the small bearings on the split wrench of a hammer until it shone.

The radio casing was too large, so the tip of a pin doubled over to cut it to the required size. Then, a hammer was used to reassemble the entire radio. Tang Yue was extremely satisfied when the radio was finally reassembled.

A radio with a black casing, silver switches and buttons, a uniquely shaped speaker, and the ability to receive multiple frequency bands took shape in the hands of Tang Yue and three mental energy tools.

Tang Yue had never heard a radio before, and she became curious. She turned on the radio and then randomly turned it to find a frequency. After a hissing sound, a voice came on.

As Tang Yue listened, she frowned. She couldn't quite understand what she was hearing.

She knew every single word, but the meaning of the words combined was completely meaningless.

Tang Yue had a good memory and memorized the content of that frequency band. However, the sound on that frequency band didn't stop, so Tang Yue kept memorizing it. After 5 minutes, the sound on that frequency band disappeared.

Tang Yue felt something was amiss and thought she should tell Chang Yin. Ignoring the darkness outside, Tang Yue carried the newly made radio out of the guesthouse.

The military area was very quiet and dark at night. Tang Yue didn't know where Chang Yin was at night, so she went to the only place she recognized: the two-story building where Commander Kang was.
