Chapter 103 Weakness

In the dimly lit dungeon, light shone through narrow window cracks, barely illuminating the damp stone walls. The air was thick with the smells of earth and rust, and the occasional sound of water droplets falling on the rocks could be heard in the distance.

Suddenly, a clear bell rang out from the dungeon. Gong Yuanzheng followed behind Gong Shangjiao, the bells tied in his hair swaying and ringing with his movements. The entire dungeon now only held a few people.

Han Ya Si and Han Ya Qi hung their heads low, their eyes closed, their bodies limp and hanging on the frame. They didn't move at all when the bell rang. Ming Wu Ji couldn't help but look towards the small window when she heard the bell.

She couldn't remember how many days and nights she had spent here. During this time, no one came to interrogate her, which allowed her to be quite at ease. However, she was truly powerless to do what she was told. She remembered the last time Gong Shangjiao came to the dungeon and mentioned that she wanted to use Madam Leng's medical case to frame Ziyu.

She finally understood why Gong Shangjiao, who cared so much about the bloodline of the Gong family, did nothing when he learned that Gong Ziyu might not be Zhi Ren's biological son.

Thinking of this, tears streamed down Mingwu's cheeks. "I'm so sorry, Alan..."

The two went straight to the cell where Han Ya was being held. Before they even entered, Gong Yuanzheng noticed that everyone there had their heads hanging down. He didn't think they weren't conscious. Wu Feng should... no, the fact that they were in this position was enough to demonstrate their abilities.

Gong Yuanzheng waved his hand, signaling the guards standing outside the cell to go up and pour water on the two men. The chilling sensation spread throughout their bodies in an instant. Han Yaqi and Han Yasi opened their eyes and looked at the two men in front of them, remaining silent without saying a word.

Gong Yuanzheng first looked at his older brother, and seeing that he did not speak, he turned up the corners of his mouth and said casually, "I heard that one of you is Shangguan Qian and Han Ya, and the other is Han Ya from Yun Weishan."

The dungeon was silent. Gong Yuanzheng continued, unconcerned, "Since there's nothing to explain, let's go through all the punishments according to procedure. But... I wonder if Shangguan Qian can withstand the same punishment as you, and what about Yun Weishan... how was the drug tested on you and on her?"

The two crows on the shelf immediately tensed up, trying to clench their fists, but because they had been hit by the muscle-relaxing powder, they couldn't muster any strength.

Gong Shangjiao noticed their emotional changes and was surprised to find that there were people with feelings of love among Wufeng.

This morning, Guan Qian told them that Han Yaqi liked her and that they could use her as a tool. Yun Weishan didn't know Han Yasi's feelings, but mentioning her should move him.

Then Gong Yuanzheng put on a fierce look and said, "Do you know why those two Wufeng people did what they did? You Wufeng people used poison to control them, and we can do the same."

He then added, "Even more vicious and ruthless than yours!"

Han Yaqi was well aware of the power of the Half-Moon Fly's attack; there were far more ruthless attacks. Considering Shangguan Qian's current predicament, he…

"You are truly despicable!" Han Ya Si said weakly. His words were utterly ironic!

“Wu Feng’s actions are far more despicable than ours. To subdue a villain, one must use villainous methods.” Gong Shangjiao didn’t think there was anything wrong with it. If it weren’t for the fact that they were still of some use, not tearing them apart on the spot would have been the limit of his patience.

Neither of them spoke. Gong Yuanzheng knew that these two unassuming people were all incredibly stubborn, and he wasn't in a hurry; he had plenty of time to take things one step at a time.

"Brother, judging from this, he won't say anything. Why don't we bring those two assassins without blades here first?"

Gong Shangjiao nodded in agreement. A crisp slap rang out, and several guards who had been waiting dragged Shangguan Qian and Yun Weishan inside.

The two men were covered in blood and had whip marks of varying degrees; they had been dragged in like dead dogs.
