The sky was as deep as splashed ink, dotted with stars like countless sparkling diamonds. On this mysterious continent lay a forgotten corner—the Dragon's Roar Abyss. Perpetually shrouded in mist, it was said to be inhabited by ancient dragons, possessing the power to overturn rivers and seas, the most powerful beings on this continent.
The protagonist of the story, the young Yun Yi, stands on the edge of an abyss, his gaze resolute. He possesses long, jet-black hair and deep-set eyes, and wears a tattered robe, yet it cannot conceal the extraordinary aura he exudes. Yun Yi's purpose in this journey is to find the legendary Dragon Blood Grass, a miraculous herb capable of curing his master's grave illness.
"Master, don't worry, I will definitely find the Dragon Blood Grass." Yun Yi murmured to himself, his voice filled with determination and resolve.
Just then, a deafening dragon's roar suddenly echoed from the abyss, causing the entire earth to tremble. Yun Yi's heart tightened; he knew this was a warning from the dragon race, but he did not back down. Instead, he became even more determined to move forward.
He took a deep breath and pulled an ancient map from his robes, a map his master had obtained many years ago during an adventure. The map marked a secret passage leading to the bottom of the abyss, a path fraught with unknowns and dangers.
Yun Yi cautiously followed the route on the map, each step taken with extreme care. The fog in the abyss grew thicker and thicker, obscuring everything within sight. Suddenly, a dark shadow swept past him. Yun Yi swiftly drew his longsword from his waist, the blade flashing, but only managing to cut through a few wisps of fog.
"The creatures here are all hidden in the mist, and should not be underestimated." Yun Yi thought to himself with vigilance. He knew that the creatures in the abyss were extremely cunning and dangerous.
As he continued forward, a deep roar came from ahead. Yun Yi stopped and listened intently. The sound grew closer, and he could feel a powerful aura approaching. He gripped his sword hilt, preparing to fight.
Suddenly, a huge black shadow burst out of the mist. It was a massive black dragon, its scales shimmering with a dark light under the starlight, its eyes flashing with a cold red light. The black dragon opened its massive jaws, and a burst of scorching dragon breath shot straight at Yun Yi.
Yun Yi nimbly dodged the dragon's breath attack, knowing that a direct confrontation with the dragons would be tantamount to suicide. He needed to find an opportunity to exploit the dragons' weaknesses to achieve victory.
Just then, Yun Yi noticed a distinct wound on the black dragon's abdomen, a result of its recent battle with another dragon. A glint flashed in Yun Yi's eyes; he knew this might be his chance.
He swiftly circled around to the black dragon's flank, his longsword streaking across the night sky like a meteor, aimed directly at the dragon's wound. The black dragon roared in pain, its massive body churning in the abyss, whipping up gusts of wind.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Yun Yi continued deeper into the abyss. He knew that the Dragon Blood Grass was located at the very bottom of the abyss, a sacred place for the dragon race, but also the most dangerous. But he had no choice; for his master's sake, he had to go on.
As he ventured deeper, the environment in the abyss grew increasingly harsh, with lava and poisonous gas filling the air, making every step fraught with danger. But Yun Yi's will remained as firm as iron, and his steps never faltered.
Finally, at the deepest part of the abyss, he saw a meadow radiating a strange light, where dragon blood grass grew, emitting a faint red glow, like blood. Yun Yi was overjoyed; he knew this was the herb he was looking for.
However, just as he was about to pick the Dragon Blood Grass, an even more powerful aura emanated from the depths of the grassland. Yun Yi's heart tightened; he knew that this must be the guardian of the dragon race in the abyss.
He took a deep breath, gripped his longsword tightly, and prepared to face the impending challenge. The clouds in the abyss seemed to thicken at that moment, foreshadowing the coming storm.
*
Yun Yi stood before the meadow of Dragon Blood Grass, his heart filled with both excitement and wariness. He knew that this meadow was not only where Dragon Blood Grass grew, but also the territory of the dragon clan's guardians. He had to pass the trial to gain the dragon clan's approval and harvest the Dragon Blood Grass.
Just then, a deep and majestic voice echoed in the abyss: "Young human, why have you come here?"
Yun Yi looked up and saw a huge golden dragon slowly descending from the clouds. Its scales shone brightly in the sunlight, and its golden eyes were deep and mysterious.
"Respected Dragon Guardian, I have come here to find Dragon Blood Grass to heal my master," Yun Yi replied respectfully, his voice revealing firmness and sincerity.
The dragon guardian was silent for a moment, then slowly said, "Dragon Blood Grass is a sacred object of our race, and it cannot be picked by anyone but those with the right destiny. If you want to obtain it, you must pass my trial."
Yun Yi's heart tightened; he knew this would be a life-or-death test. But he did not back down, for he knew that only by passing the trial could he obtain the Dragon Blood Grass.
“I am willing to accept the trial,” Yun Yi said firmly.
The dragon guardian nodded, then waved its hand, and a golden light shot out from its claw, forming a huge sphere of light that hovered in the air.
"This is the Trial Orb, which will lead you into an illusion. In this illusion, you will confront the fears and desires deep within your heart. Only by overcoming them can you pass the trial." The dragon guardian's voice carried a hint of anticipation.
Yun Yi took a deep breath and stepped into the sphere of light. Instantly, he felt dizzy, and when he opened his eyes again, he found himself in a strange world.
