Chapter 50, Story 1

The Secret of the Rainbow Bridge

In a remote forest, there flows a clear stream, and across the stream stands an ancient wooden bridge, surrounded by a vibrant rainbow—this is the legendary Rainbow Bridge. The Rainbow Bridge is not only beautiful, but it is also said to possess magical powers, capable of granting a pure wish.

Mimi the little rabbit lived on the east side of the forest. He had curious big eyes and a kind heart. One day, Mimi heard the story of the Rainbow Bridge and decided to go on an adventure to see if he could find the secret of the Rainbow Bridge.

Mimi walked through the dense forest, crossed the winding path, and finally arrived at the Rainbow Bridge. He saw the bridge shimmering with seven colors, just like a rainbow hanging in the sky. Mimi walked onto the bridge, and with each step, a different color of light shone beneath his feet.

Just as Mimi was immersed in this wonderful scene, he heard a gentle voice: "Brave child, what is your wish for coming here?" Mimi looked up and saw that it was the Rainbow Fairy, who was wearing a colorful dress and smiling at him.

Mimi thought for a moment and said, "I hope all the animals in the forest can live happily, without illness or hunger." The rainbow fairy nodded and said, "Your wish is beautiful, but you need to find a way to make it come true yourself."

Although Mimi was somewhat disappointed, he didn't give up. He began helping other animals in the forest; whether a bird couldn't find food or a squirrel was injured, Mimi would lend a helping hand. Gradually, Mimi discovered that whenever he helped someone, the light on the Rainbow Bridge would become even brighter.

One day, a sudden downpour hit the forest, flooding the homes of many small animals. Without hesitation, Mimi immediately organized a rescue team to help the animals move to safety. When the rain stopped, Mimi was exhausted, but seeing all the animals safe and sound filled him with warmth and satisfaction.

Just then, the light on the Rainbow Bridge suddenly converged into a beam, shining on Mimi. The Rainbow Fairy reappeared and said, "Mimi, your wish has been fulfilled. Your kindness and courage have made the forest more harmonious and beautiful."

From then on, Mimi became a hero in the forest, and the Rainbow Bridge became the guardian of the forest. Whenever help was needed, the Rainbow Bridge would shine, guiding the little animals to find hope.

A magical night at Moon Lake

On a tranquil night, the surface of Moon Lake shimmered with a silvery glow. Beside the lake lived a little fox named Lily, with soft, orange-red fur and curious eyes. Lily loved to explore at night, for that was when she discovered new and wondrous things.

One evening, Lily was taking her usual walk by the lake when she noticed many tiny, shimmering lights floating on the surface. These lights swayed gently with the water, like stars fallen into the lake. Curious, Lily approached and discovered that these lights were actually fireflies, their bodies emitting a warm glow.

Lily asked the fireflies, "Why are you flying on the lake?" The fireflies replied, "We are preparing for the magical night at Moon Lake. Every year at this time, we gather here to light up the lake with our light and celebrate the tranquility and beauty of Moon Lake."

Lily was captivated by the fireflies' words and decided to join them in celebrating this special night. She gently leaped into the lake, stirring the water with her tail, creating ripples that reflected even more light. The fireflies danced around Lily, their glow mingling with the shimmering lake water to create a beautiful scene.

Just then, the moon peeked out from behind the clouds, its light spilling onto the lake, creating a beautiful contrast with the fireflies' glow and the shimmering water. Lily felt incredibly happy; she knew this was a night she would never forget.

Suddenly, a strange light appeared on the lake's surface, rising from the bottom and illuminating the entire lake. Lily and the fireflies watched in amazement as the light slowly transformed into a beautiful underwater garden. The garden contained colorful fish, gently swaying seaweed, and all sorts of gems and pearls.

Lily and the fireflies are invited into this wondrous underwater garden. They swim together through the garden, admiring the beautiful scenery and feeling the tranquility beneath the water. Lily discovers that even at night, Moon Lake possesses a unique charm and vitality.

As night faded and the first rays of dawn shone on the lake, Lily and the fireflies bid farewell to the underwater garden and returned to the lakeshore. Lily knew she would forever cherish the memory of this magical night, and she looked forward to the next magical night at Moon Lake.

One day, Amy found an old bottle in the garden, filled with colorful stars. These stars looked very special; they emitted a soft glow, as if telling some secret. Curious, Amy picked up the bottle, determined to find out the story of these stars.

Amy took the bottle to her friend, a little bird named Ollie. Ollie was a clever little bird who knew many stories about the town and the garden. Ollie looked at the bottle and told Amy, "These stars are wishing stars. They are formed from children's wishes. Whenever a child makes a wish, a star falls from the sky and becomes a wishing star."
