Chapter 56, Story 7

A magical city in the clouds

High in the sky, there is a wondrous city that children have never seen before. It is built on pure white clouds and is called "Cloud City." A group of happy cloud sprites live in Cloud City, and they can transform into various shapes to bring surprises to children.

In a small town on Earth, there lived a curious little boy named Jamie. Jamie always dreamed of flying into the sky and exploring the secrets above the clouds. One day, while he was flying a kite in the fields, a strange wind suddenly blew up, carrying his kite high into the sky and disappearing into the clouds.

Jamie decided to follow the kite to see where it flew. He ran and ran until he reached the top of a mountain. Just then, that magical wind appeared again, gently lifting him up and carrying him into the clouds.

As Jamie passed through the clouds, he was astonished to discover Cloud City. The city's buildings were made entirely of the purest white clouds, the roads were paved with rainbows, and the entire city seemed to float gently on the surface. The cloud fairies warmly welcomed Jamie and invited him to tour their city.

Jamie experienced many wonderful things in Cloud City. He rode a slide made of clouds from one tall building to another; he rowed a boat on Rainbow Lake, where the water was sweet and changed color with the strokes of the oars; he also worked with the cloud fairies to sculpt various small animal shapes out of clouds.

But as Jamie played in Cloud City, he noticed that part of the city was beginning to dim, and the clouds were no longer as white. The cloud fairies told him that this was because the city's "source of joy"—a star that emitted a warm glow—had begun to lose its light.

Jamie decided to help the cloud fairies. Together, they found the star and discovered that a dark cloud was obscuring its light. Jamie used his kite to help the fairies move the cloud away, allowing the star to shine brightly again.

Cloud City regained its former beauty and vitality. The cloud fairies were very grateful to Jamie, and they made him a special medal out of clouds and rainbows as a symbol of his courage and kindness.

As Jamie prepared to return to the ground, the cloud fairies once again used their magical winds to safely transport him back to the mountaintop. Jamie returned to town, his heart filled with memories of his wondrous journey and the friendship of his new friends.

The Secret of Moon Lake

In a remote forest, there lies a mysterious place called Moon Lake. The lake's water is crystal clear, and at night, the moon's reflection shimmers on its surface, as if stars from the sky had fallen into the water. All the animals in the forest know that Moon Lake holds a secret, but none have ever discovered it.

On the edge of the forest lived a little fox named Mia. Mia had orange-red fur and curious eyes. She always dreamed of discovering the secret of Moon Lake and becoming a hero of the forest.

One evening, Mia decided to go on an adventure. She quietly left home, crossed the forest, and arrived at Moon Lake. Moonlight shone on the lake, making the entire surface look like it was covered with a layer of silver gauze. Mia sat by the lake, quietly observing every detail on the surface of the water.

Just then, a strange light appeared on the lake's surface, and something seemed to be moving within it. Mia's eyes widened as she saw a school of small fish swimming up from the lakebed, their scales shimmering in the moonlight. These fish swam to the moonlit surface and began to dance gracefully.

Mia was captivated by the beautiful sight and couldn't help but clap her hands softly. Suddenly, a beam of light rose from the center of the lake, and a beautiful fairy appeared within it. The fairy smiled and said to Mia, "You have discovered the secret of Moon Lake with your kindness and patience. These little fish are the guardians of Moon Lake; they dance every full moon night to celebrate its fullness."

The fairy told Mia that as a reward, she could make a wish. Mia thought for a moment, then said, "I wish that every animal in the forest could live in peace, without fighting or hunger." The fairy nodded, and with a gentle wave of her magic wand, Mia's wish was granted.

From that night on, the animals in the forest truly began to live in peace. They shared food, helped each other, and the forest became more harmonious than before. Mia became a hero in the forest, and her story was told by every animal.

Mia understood that the secret of Moon Lake was actually quite simple: true magic comes from within each person's heart, and kindness and love are the forces that make the world a better place.

Concert in the Magic Forest

In a magical forest dwells all sorts of animals and creatures possessing magic. This forest is called the "Magic Forest" because it is filled with wondrous and incredible things. In the heart of the forest lies a vast meadow where, at this time of year, all the animals and magical creatures gather for the annual "Magic Forest Concert."

On the eve of the concert, a little hedgehog named Merlo was so excited he couldn't sleep. Merlo loved music and dreamed of one day performing at a concert, letting the whole forest hear his melodies. However, Merlo had no instruments; he could only use his little hands to pat the ground, making simple rhythms.

The next day, the day of the concert arrived. The sun had just set, and the moon and stars began to twinkle in the sky; the concert was about to begin. All the animals and magical creatures, dressed in their festive best, came to the meadow with their instruments.

Mello also came to the concert, but he felt a little sad because he had no instrument. Just then, a gentle unicorn walked up to Mello. The unicorn's name was Eleanor, and her horn shone brightly, capable of casting spells.

“Melo, why do you look so sad?” Eleanor asked.

Melo lowered his head and said, "I want to play at the concert, but I don't have any instruments."

Eleanor smiled and gently touched Merlo's back with her magic horn. Suddenly, Merlo felt the thorns on his back change; they began to make a pleasant sound, like bells.

“Now you have an instrument, Melo,” Eleanor said. “Your thorns can play beautiful music.”

To Merlo's surprise, the thorns on his back had indeed turned into musical instruments. He began to pat his back in time with the other animals' music, producing beautiful melodies. The atmosphere of the concert grew even more lively, and all the animals were captivated by Merlo's music.

After the concert, Merlot became a star in the forest. He not only realized his dream but also brought joy to everyone with his music. Merlot understood that everyone has their own unique talents, and even the most inconspicuous little hedgehog can shine.

From then on, Mello performed at the Enchanted Forest Concert every year, and the thorn on his back became the most unique instrument in the forest. Eleanor's magic horn, on the other hand, became a symbol of friendship and miracles in the forest.
