Chapter 67 Short Story 18

The Secret of the Forest Library

Deep within a dense forest lies an ancient library, known as the Forest Library. This library is quite special; its walls are made of tree trunks, and its roof is woven from green leaves and vines. The library houses books from all over the world, each brimming with knowledge and magic.

On the edge of the forest, there was a small village where a little girl named Sophie lived. Sophie always dreamed of exploring the forest library and reading those magical books. One day, while walking in the forest, she accidentally discovered a hidden path leading to the library.

Sophie excitedly entered the library. She saw the shelves filled with all sorts of books, some with jewel-encrusted covers, others made of ancient leather. She randomly picked up a book, opened it, and suddenly the words began to leap, transforming into vivid images that told her wondrous stories.

Sophie was captivated by these stories, and she decided to spend the entire day in the library reading as many of these magical books as possible. With each book she read, she found herself learning many new things and even being able to use some simple magic.

Deep within the library, Sophie discovered a secret room containing its most precious books. These books not only told stories but also opened doors to other worlds. Sophie carefully opened one of the books, and suddenly, she was enveloped by a mysterious force, transported to the world described within.

In that world, Sophie encountered all sorts of creatures, some friendly, some mysterious. Using the knowledge and magic she learned in the library, she helped these creatures solve many problems and gained invaluable experience. Finally, when Sophie completed her adventure, she was brought back to the forest library by that mysterious force.

Sophie returned to the village with a wealth of memories and new knowledge. She decided to write her experiences into a book and put it in the forest library so that more children could explore the unknown world and experience the joy of adventure through reading.

Adventure on Stardust Path

On the distant edge of the universe, there lies a stardust path composed of countless fragments of stars. This path leads to a mysterious planet inhabited by various talking star creatures who weave stories with starlight and paint with stardust.

On Earth, there lived a little boy named Jack who was full of curiosity about the universe. Jack had a telescope, through which he always observed the starry sky, dreaming of one day being able to personally set foot on the Stardust Trail and explore those distant planets.

One night, as Jack looked up at the stars again, he saw a shooting star streak across the sky and land in his backyard. Jack ran outside to see what it was and discovered that it wasn't an ordinary shooting star, but a glittering stargate. The stargate slowly opened, revealing the entrance to the Stardust Path.

Summoning his courage, Jack crossed the stargate and embarked on the Stardust Path. He walked along the path, star fragments dancing around him like fireflies. Soon, he encountered his first star creature—Lulu. Lulu was a gentle little star who told Jack that many wondrous adventures awaited him on the Stardust Path.

Guided by Lulu, Jack encounters all sorts of star creatures: musical stars that can sing beautiful melodies, painting stars that can create beautiful paintings, and storytelling stars that can recount ancient legends. Jack befriends these star creatures, and together they explore the Stardust Path, discovering many magical secrets.

During an adventure, Jack discovers a small star that is about to go out. The little star is very sad because it has lost its light. Jack decides to help it, and he uses the stardust and starlight he has collected to create a new source of light for the little star.

When the new source of light was lit, the little star shone brightly once more, deeply grateful for Jack's help. In gratitude, the little star gave Jack a Stardust Heart, which would allow Jack to obtain assistance from star creatures whenever needed.

Jack returned to Earth with the Heart of Stardust. He recorded his adventures in his diary and communicated with the star creatures through a telescope at night. Jack understood that true friendship knows no distance, and that nothing is impossible as long as there is love and courage in one's heart.
