Chapter 12 The Eve Before Dawn
On the stage, the spotlight was focused on the singer like the eye of God. His voice penetrated the air, intertwined with the notes, and ignited all the emotional senses of the audience.
The clear and magnetic singing voice blasted through the speakers throughout the venue.
In the audience, the ardent gazes copied the people on the stage over and over again.
Harry, sitting in the audience, surrounded by the bustling crowd, filled his world with the figure on the stage.
The spotlights were as bright as stars. He stood in the center of the light, his eyes determined, a confident smile on his lips, and waved his hand wildly, as if he had turned into a star, bringing the focus of the entire universe to one point.
Sweat gleamed under the light, and the figure outlined by the black dress appeared particularly tall and straight under the light. The skin, which was strong and thin but beautiful, was soaked with sweat, and the white shirt stuck to it, leaving six sharp squares.
His slightly messy hair added a bit of unruly charm to him. The few strands of hair on his forehead swayed gently with the music, like the brightest tail of wisdom in the night sky.
He closed his eyes and immersed himself in his own musical world. At that moment, he was not only a singer, but also a transmitter of emotions, plucking the heartstrings of every listener.
As the song reached its climax, his gaze inadvertently swept across the audience. At that moment, his eyes seemed to be attracted by a magnet and fixed on a point in the audience.
It's Harry.
His expression changed subtly, and an almost imperceptible smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. It was a kind of softness that was only revealed when meeting the person he trusted the most. There was also a touch of gentleness in his singing. The eyes of the two met in the air across the entire stage.
Harry felt an itch in his chest, something gushing out with his cough. He tugged at his tie anxiously, and the neat collar instantly became messy. Under his prominent Adam's apple, his delicate collarbone was faintly visible, but the itch was still there.
"Harry", the star who was shining brightly on the stage just now, was leaning leisurely against the door, looking at Harry with a smile on his face.
He hadn't had time to remove the earphones yet, so he casually draped them over his shoulder. His exterior still maintained that tsundere demeanor, his lips slightly raised, his eyes revealing a subtle tenderness.
The lights on the stage must have had a flowing effect, making those gray-blue eyes, whose light had not faded, so alluring.
Harry didn't respond immediately. As he passed the table, he casually put the cigarette between his fingers into the ashtray, along with the lamp that Draco was extinguishing.
"Ha..., don't..., um!" Draco blushed and slapped away Harry's rude hand. In the process, the gray-blue topaz brooch on the collar of his shirt rolled on the red carpet.
The hard gem pressed the messy, thick and long hair on the carpet, leaving short, thin red marks.
The dragged chair rubbed against the stone floor, making a sharp and harsh squeak.
"Look! Your hands are all red! I told you to be gentler, but you just wouldn't listen. It still hurts even in your dreams, okay!" As soon as Draco opened his mouth, heavy breathing kept coming out from between his teeth.
Harry, who was clinging to his back, paused, then gritted his teeth and said, "Have some sense. You scratched your hand and it got red. How can you blame me for this?"
"It's because your muscles are too hard!" Draco rubbed the man's cheek in a flattering manner, unconsciously leaving a few bloody marks on the man's bulging arm.
The TV screen in front of the sofa flickered, light and shadow danced on their faces, and low and rhythmic background music flowed slowly.
The white waves are signs of black stones hitting the water surface one after another.
Circle after circle, flower after flower, so gorgeous and dazzling.
The fierce spring tide rises like the sound of pine waves in my hometown, clamoring, shouting, and desperately hitting the stone cliffs, making a dong-dong-dong sound.
The waves that were repelled by the stone wall rolled up white foam, flying in the air, and rushed over again.
The seaweed blown by the wind swayed and struggled, trying to climb up the stone wall and cling to the shore.
The waves surged like a black dragon, rolling and roaring in the darkness.
The raging waves beat against the rocks, and the golden bells along the ten-mile coastline rang out at the same time, clanging and clanging in a very rhythmic manner.
The rain curtain fell on the blue water surface. The heavy rain was so fierce that it seemed to vent all the accumulation and leave no chance for any water surface to breathe.
The previous rain had not yet stopped, and the next rain came with large dark clouds, once again covering the sky above the gray-blue water.
The clouds on the horizon were completely white, and a bright moon hung high in the sky, emitting a silvery-white light.
"It's coming out--" Draco opened his eyes wide in horror, and his confused hands climbed up Harry's shoulders like vines.
"If you're really scared, don't turn off the lights and watch horror movies at night." Harry helplessly touched Draco's hair that was completely soaked with sweat, and threw the red pillow beside him behind him.
"Then the atmosphere wouldn't be so good!" Draco said confidently, but his hand honestly held Harry's hand tightly on his waist.
"Tsk, if you're not good at it, stop being so stubborn." Harry sighed and sat back. He passed his supporting hands under Draco's armpits and circled Draco's shoulder blades to make him feel more comfortable.
Draco nuzzled Harry's face affectionately, his thin lips kissing the side of his curved neck, leaving a faint red mark on the skin.
Harry's body stiffened suddenly, and he felt all the blood in his body rushing to his brain. He used his hands to press Draco into his arms like a hunting python.
He rubbed Draco's red eyes hard. If only... these eyes could only reflect his shadow forever, just like now.
"Draco..."
Harry's usually deep voice softened unconsciously as he called out softly.
Draco, who had never heard Harry's almost coquettish voice before, opened his hazy eyes, slowly raised his head, and met Harry's eyes.
"Look at me, always." Harry pointed at his face and said coquettishly
"Hmm." Draco raised his head, and his whole body leaned back unbearably. The hand that climbed onto Harry's neck pinched Harry's flesh with all his might.
"Good boy!" Harry narrowed his eyes in satisfaction after receiving the response, his nostrils flaring slightly, and he placed a kiss on Draco's forehead. He exerted force with his arms and lifted Draco up from the sofa.
Not far away, a tapestry of the Black family tree, shrouded in black silk, silently watched the two people, captivated by the thrilling scene on the screen. At the edge of the black silk, the name Narcissa Black was half-hidden and half-revealed.
