Chapter 44: Picking up flowers in the morning and evening 14

"Hey! I'm definitely going to beat you this time!"

The chirping of summer cicadas clung to the asphalt road like a handful of salt. A boy in a blue and white uniform suddenly rushed out from the corner of the street, and the dinosaur pendant hanging on his schoolbag swayed violently.

The young man, eager to win, took a shortcut and bumped into the automatic door of the home furnishing store. The cold air wrapped in the fragrance of pine wood hit him in the face.

The two teenagers were stuck in front of the glass door of the home furnishing store and pushing each other. Neither of them wanted to give in and both wanted to win as soon as possible.

On the display stand next to the cash register, the ceramic cat ornaments were pulled by the teenagers and shook gently several times.

"Let go! My new T-shirt is going to be torn and deformed!" The yellow-haired boy stood on tiptoe to reach the comic book held high by the other party, and his sneakers made a harsh sound on the tile floor.

"Who told you to snatch my 'Jump' in class!" The red-haired boy lowered his body and pushed his friend away with his shoulder, but froze the moment he caught a glimpse of the display inside the store.

"What are you daydreaming about?" The yellow-haired boy grabbed the red-haired boy's collar, followed his gaze, and suddenly whistled in a low voice, "So you like this kind of older sister type?"

"Don't talk nonsense." The yellow-haired boy grabbed the pillow on the sample sofa and threw it at the boy. The boy bent down to avoid it, and the pillow fell into the arms of the white-haired young man who was trying it out.

"Hey, kid, what are you looking at?" The white-haired young man raised his eyes and met the red-haired boy's eyes.

The white-haired young man raised a smile at the corner of his mouth, casually put the pillow aside, stood up, and looked down at the boy in front of him from his 1.90 meter height.

"If you dare, try calling me 'sister' again?"

The red-haired boy seemed to have his thoughts seen through. His ears felt slightly hot and he looked away awkwardly. His throat moved but he couldn't speak.

The yellow-haired boy noticed that the atmosphere was not right, his eyes moved between the two of them, and he grabbed the red-haired boy's arm and dragged him out.

"Let's go!"

The corner of the comic book brushed against the ceramic kitten on the display shelf, making a crisp sound.

The two teenagers watched in panic as the ornament continued to fall, their expressions almost frozen as they watched it about to hit the ground.

"Enlightenment?"

At the walnut table in the middle of the store, Geto Suguru, wearing a beige dress, frowned and looked back.

His gaze passed through the boys and fell on Gojo Satoru, who was holding a kitten figurine in one hand and yawning.

"It's okay, you continue to choose." Gojo Satoru shook the cat figurine in his hand and waved casually at Geto Suguru.

There was still a sleepy look on his face, and his iconic beautiful eyes were half open and half closed, as if he would fall asleep again in the next second.

Seeing this, Geto Suguru nodded slightly and turned his attention back to the furniture in front of him.

The shopping guide's introduction continued, but Geto Suguru was a little absent-minded.

He pretended to adjust his collar from time to time and secretly looked back at Gojo Satoru.

The way the other person slumped on the sofa reminded him of their school days, when Gojo Satoru always loved to catch up on his sleep in class in this casual position.

Is the workload heavy lately, or...

Geto Suguru turned around again and looked at Gojo Satoru who was now sitting on the sofa.

His chest rose and fell gently with his breathing, and the sunlight fell just on his eyelashes, casting fine shadows under his eyes.

"This one is really quiet," the salesperson's voice was like wet cotton, floating gently into his ears, "the slide rails use the latest Japanese..."

"Excuse me, could you please let me think about it?"

Geto Suguru pursed his lips and interrupted the other person, glancing at the corner of the exhibition hall, where he saw Gojo Satoru leaning on a beige leather sofa.

His head hung loosely on the edge of the sofa, his arms rested on the armrests, his body lay diagonally on his side, his long legs crossed on the coffee table, swaying slightly with the rhythm.

This has been basically the situation at home this week. He starts dozing off before the meal is even served.

It was even worse last night, even the fork would "clatter" into the soup bowl.

Geto Xiayou walked over quietly, his sandals making almost no sound on the floor.

Gojo Satoru's eyelashes suddenly trembled, and he woke up with a start, knocking over the price list on the coffee table.

"Falling asleep again?" Xia Yujie squatted down to pick up the booklet, his fingers touching the back of his cold hand. "Have you been busy with the recent missions?"

"Ah..." Gojo Satoru hummed vaguely, his eyelashes trembling, as if he was awakened from a light sleep.

He opened his eyes slightly, revealing a deep blue that was filled with sleepiness. He reached out and rubbed the top of his head, his voice hoarse as if he had just woken up.

"Just a nap."

He sat up lazily, but his head still leaned on Geto's shoulder out of habit, like a large, spoiled dog.

"Jie is the best. I was really close to being exhausted by the old men~"

"Then I'll take you to the hot spring this weekend?" Xia Yujie straightened his loose collar, his eyes swept over the faint blue shadow under his eyes, and his throat moved.

"I heard there's a new hotel with a private hot spring in Sendai..."

Gojo Satoru's cell phone in his trouser pocket interrupted him forcefully.

Gojo Satoru rolled his eyes speechlessly, took out his cell phone, and without even looking at the screen, pressed the answer button: "Hello."

Gojo Satoru leaned lazily on Geto Suguru's shoulder, his voice hoarse from waking up from sleep.

"If you have something to say, please tell me now. I'm very busy today and don't have time to chat with you. Just send it to my phone. Bye."

After saying that, he hung up the phone, put the phone in his trouser pocket, supported himself on the sofa with one hand, and rubbed his eye sockets with the other hand, as if trying to squeeze out the dark circles under his eyelids.

"Have the old men assigned you another task?" Xia Yujie pulled him up, his half-closed eyes hiding the strange light in his eyes.

Gojo Satoru rubbed his eyes, yawned, and casually responded, "Ah, coming and going is just a mission, so, Gojo-sensei, you should enjoy your vacation.

"Sendai..., Sendai, it's a relaxing hot spring, Ah Jie! Gojo teacher, here I come..." Gojo Satoru shouted excitedly, pulling Geto Suguru and ran out.

"Wait..., wait!"

While chasing after him, Geto Xiayou took out his wallet and prepared to pay the bill.

"Hello sir, your total spending is 2 million yen."

After the teller respectfully reported the bill and handed over the gold card, he couldn't help but look at Gojo Satoru a few more times.

She couldn't help but sigh inwardly, it's great to have money, you can easily spend two or three million yen just by shopping.

"Yeah, thank you."

Geto Suguru took the gold card and, following Gojo Satoru's force, got on the 'hover car' that rushed out of the mall.

It is so convenient to have no lower limit, and it can be shared, which is even simpler than Rainbow Dragon.

Geto Suguru knelt on one knee at the edge of the cypress tree, one hand covering his bulging belly like a wing.

Another bony finger dipped into the water, ripples spread out from the fingertips, and the water level wrapped around the wrist just right.

The water was splashed into the air as his wrist bone turned. The tiny water droplets reflected the light from the lanterns in the corridor, like scattered stardust falling into the pond, startling the koi fish and making them wag their tails in panic.

"Jie~ Stop dawdling and take off your clothes! The water is getting cold."
