Chapter 5: Eve Before Dawn 5 (Revised)
"Malfoy, come with me." Draco was about to walk into the darkness when he was grabbed by Harry who was wearing an invisibility cloak. He staggered and waved his hands around, hitting Blaise's back heavily.
The force pushed the opponent directly into the thick embrace of the Medusa statue before the opponent could react.
"Draco?" Blaise covered his swollen face, turned around in disbelief, and looked at his friend with an innocent face.
"I'm sorry, Blaise, but I think you should give some of your eyes that measure beauty to the lady behind you. Your Ravenclaw girlfriend is almost burning my back." Draco raised his eyebrows and pointed at the lady in a blue lace dress behind him with a resolute look.
The pretty girl said as she turned and ran away with a cold expression.
"Ah, sorry, I'll explain it to her later, but Draco, I think you can talk to me gently about this kind of thing in the future?" Blaise shrugged calmly, pointing to his swollen cheeks, and sighed helplessly.
"It depends on the situation." Draco waved his wand calmly, pinching Harry's belly, leaving only a dashing back view to Blaise, who looked refreshed in an instant.
"Malfoy, can you let go of my clothes? If you keep holding on, they will be broken." Harry held the hem of his clothes tightly, his tangled eyebrows almost knotted.
"This is all your fault!" Draco turned around and glared at him, then spread his clothes out like a wicked person.
"Huh?" Harry was dumbfounded, his brows raised. But thinking of the young master's unreasonable character, and the fact that it was indeed his sudden action that frightened him that led to this series of events, he finally said nothing.
"Okay, my bad. So, could the delicate Malfoy accept my invitation to play an exciting game of Seeker with me?" Harry stretched out his right hand and made an inviting gesture.
"Harry Potter, move your sphinx-filled head for a minute. It's curfew!" Draco glared at Harry. "Your Gryffindor gems are eaten by rats every night, but our Slytherin gems are recorded every day. I don't want to go crazy with you."
Draco raised his chin and was about to turn and leave.
Flying during curfew? What a confusing act! He was indeed a reckless Gryffindor. He didn't want to go crazy with Harry.
"Don't worry, I won't let you get caught. Just follow me." Harry grabbed Draco's wrist and dragged him towards the staircase on the other side.
"Well, since you ask so sincerely, then as you wish." Draco shook off Harry's control twice but still couldn't break free, so he could only accept his fate and be dragged away.
"Is this the exciting flying competition you mentioned?" Draco looked at the pile of debris in front of him and twitched his lips speechlessly.
As expected, I shouldn't trust this Gryffindor who only knows how to do things and then leave it at that.
"Hmm... ? Ron and I were able to do it last time. Is there a problem?" Harry scratched his hair in confusion and said uncertainly.
"..." Draco looked at the vanishing cabinet covered by silk behind Harry and turned the ring in his hand silently, "Forget it, let's go out and try again."
"Hey, Malfoy, do you know the Patronus Charm?" Harry asked casually as he looked at the clutter that was piled up here and there to form small hills, but strangely made the entire space more rugged.
"What?" Draco turned around subconsciously and put his right hand behind his back.
"Patronus Charm, can you?" Harry observed attentively, measuring the distance between the miscellaneous objects, and continued to ask casually.
"Yes, what's it for?" Draco saw that Harry was not deliberately probing him, so he pulled over a stool and crossed his legs to answer him.
"Equipment for our roller coaster race." Harry turned around, used the wooden stick in his hand to measure distance, drew a few circles in the air, and pointed it at Draco.
"Use a Patronus?" Draco was stunned.
No, is this a must? No Quidditch, but a roller coaster of the wizarding world.
"Absolutely," Harry nodded, taking out his wand first and summoning his Patronus, the stag.
"Don't joke around, Potter. My dad will kill me if he knows I use the Patronus to play Muggle games," Draco complained as he eagerly took out his wand.
"Well... the competition begins!" The exquisite magic wooden warehouse spewed out gorgeous magic fireworks, and the pearly white stag and peacock rushed out of the starting point in an instant like released arrows, speeding along the winding debris track.
Their milky white bodies, illuminated by the bright orange light, looked like two orange-yellow lightning bolts, rapidly passing through the empty and narrow corridor.
The strong wind blew up the old dust, and the blue crown of the tower began to shine.
At first, the two "cars" were running side by side, but after entering the first bend, Draco's Peacock folded its wings and tilted nearly 90 degrees, taking a slight lead through this momentary sprint.
Draco stood at the starting line, holding his wand tightly, his face flushed with nervous anticipation and an excited smile.
This was something he rarely saw that could help him defeat Harry, except in Potions class.
Harry's stag was not to be outdone, biting the peacock's tail tightly, ready to overtake at any time.
The guardians chased each other, and every bend they passed was like drawing complex lines in the air. Every flip and every acceleration was a competition of the capacity and control of magical power.
As the stag and the peacock turned a circle and rushed towards the white line of the finish line again, the wind whistled in their ears, and their heartbeats and ears seemed to stop.
Draco ignored the hair that randomly hit his cheek and just waved his wand desperately.
Draco's excitement and excitement reached a climax when he saw the stag and peacock running towards them side by side, revealing their complete bodies.
Faster, faster, Draco stared at the peacock with a faint halo around it, raising its head and screaming silently, with sparks of arrogance in its eyes.
Ten, nine, eight, seven, six... three, two, one!
As the finish line approaches, the competition becomes fierce.
The finish line was in sight, but the distance between the two guardians was almost zero.
Draco's peacock suddenly shot up, stretched straight like a bow, and rushed straight to the top of the starting line.
"Bang!" Two arcs slid through the air, whistling past Draco and Harry's ears, and crashed straight into the pile of debris behind Draco and Harry.
The huge momentum made the stag and the peacock rush out of the object of every request in an instant. Crystal clear snowflakes fell on the glittering guardian god, as if a thin layer of ice covered the guardian god's feathers.
Draco and Harry, who were hit by the Patronus, rolled to the left and right due to inertia, and plunged into the pile of debris with a rumbling sound.
Draco laughed as he looked at Harry, who had emerged from the pile of junk and was still wandering around.
Actually, Gryffindor is not that annoying. It's quite interesting, at least it's interesting now.
