Yuzuru loosened his crossed legs, stretched out his hand, and beckoned to a puppy, "Come here."
His tone was flippant, yet it carried an air of absolute authority.
Kuroba Chikage trembled, closed her eyes briefly, then opened them again, struggling to stand up and walk towards Yuusuke.
But she had only taken two steps when Yuzuru suddenly interrupted her.
"Is Madam being a little insincere?" Yu Shengnan's smile grew even more unrestrained.
Did I ask you to stand up?
"you!"
Kuroba Chikage glared angrily, her chest heaving violently with rage.
"Madam, you should think this through carefully," Yu Shengnan said casually. "Is your son's and husband's life more important, or your insistence?"
Kuroba Chikage clenched her teeth, her anger gradually replaced by pain and helplessness.
"I..." Her eyes dimmed, all hope gone, "I'll do as you say..."
A pair of straight, beautiful legs gradually bent, and then she knelt heavily on the ground with a dull thud.
That was the sound of her dignity shattering.

Time passed slowly, and every second felt incredibly long.
Kuroba Chikage finally crawled to Hanyu Nan's feet, stopped, clenched her fists, and her nails dug deeply into her palms.
“That’s more like it, madam.”
Yuzuru stretched out his foot and used his toe to lift Kuroba Chikage's chin.
