Seeing Ran blushing, Sonoko realized she had said the wrong thing and stuck her tongue out at Yuzuru with embarrassment.
All the rooms on the second floor were locked at the moment, leaving the two girls confused and unsure which room to choose.
"Xiaolan, which room should we choose?"
"I'm not sure either... How about this one?" Xiaolan said, as she reached out to push open a door next to her.
"Wait for Xiaolan!" Yu Shengnan called out quickly to stop her, otherwise Xiaolan would "pass the exam three times in a row".
Seeing the questioning look on Xiaolan's face, Yusheng Nan quickly explained, "There's someone in that room."
"Hey, Nan, how did you know?" Sonoko stared at Yuzuru Nan with a face full of curiosity, as if trying to see some clues from his face.
"Just take a closer look at the ground and you'll see," Yu Shengnan smiled and reminded them. "If you pay a little attention, you'll notice that there are water stains on the ground in front of every room where someone is. It's probably because it just rained outside."
"Oh wow, that's really true!"
Upon hearing what Yuzuru said, the two girls immediately looked down and began to examine the ground. Sure enough, they quickly discovered water stains in front of several doors and looked at Yuzuru with admiration.
"Heh, what's so admirable about such a simple observation?" Conan, who was following behind, had just walked up when he heard the conversation. He looked at Sonoko, who was swooning over her crush, with a blank expression.
"Why is Xiaolan coming along? She doesn't usually make these kinds of deductions about me!"
