Over the next few days, Yuzuru Hanyu devoted himself to accompanying his inseparable friend Kazuha on a wonderful trip to Tokyo.
They strolled through bustling streets, admired beautiful scenery, and savored local delicacies, each moment filled with sweetness and joy.
In the end, it was only after Ye's mother, Sakura Toyama, called to urge her that she reluctantly returned to Osaka.
(Here's a note: since the official name hadn't been given when Kazuha's mother appeared earlier, the author initially named her Tomoko Toyama. Now, it's changed to Sakura Toyama.)
Osaka, Toyama House.
When Kazuha returned home this time, Yuzuru Nanami came along with her.
It was like accompanying my girlfriend home to meet her parents.
"Hey... Yuzuru, what brings you here too?"
Seeing Yuzuru standing at the door carrying large and small bags of gifts, Toyama Ginjiro, who had taken a day off to prepare to welcome his daughter, was somewhat surprised.
He only knew that his daughter was coming back today, but he never expected that she would bring someone back with her.
Yu Sheng Nan smiled politely and bowed slightly: "Hello, Uncle. I was really worried about Kazuha coming back alone, and I've also been wanting to come and see you and Auntie."
Ginjiro Toyama paused for a moment, then looked at his daughter's happy expression and understood something. He then burst into hearty laughter: "Haha, come in, come in! Uncle said last time that next time you come, we'll have a good drink together..."
"Dad, if you want to drink, drink it yourself. Don't lead Yuzuru astray."
Kazuha interrupted her father reproachfully, a hint of displeasure on her face.
Ginjiro Toyama laughed heartily: "Alright, alright, I'll listen to my daughter."
As you enter the house, Kazuha's mother, Sakura Toyama, is coming out of the kitchen. She is a kind-looking woman with a headband and a resemblance to Kazuha in her features. Her gentle gaze is filled with deep affection.
She saw that Yu Sheng Nan also looked surprised, but quickly recovered and walked forward with a smile to take the things from Yu Sheng Nan's hands: "You child, you came all this way, and brought so many things."
Sakura Toyama knew the boy in front of her very well, the one who had once saved her daughter's life.
You know, when her little girl is at home, she always mentions Yu Sheng Nan's name twice out of every three sentences, and her happy expression makes her, as her mother, curious.
The group sat down facing each other in the living room, with Kazuha close to Hanyu Nan, their faces beaming with smiles.
Ginjiro Toyama turned his gaze to the two of them, observing their intimate behavior without making a sound, and then asked tentatively, "Hanyu, Kazuha hasn't caused you any trouble in the East, has she?"
"Uncle, Kazuha is very well-behaved."
Yuzuru shook his head, glancing around the room. The clean and tidy layout, the warm decorations—everything seemed ordinary, yet very comfortable.
"Dad, I'm not that naughty."
He Ye pouted, clearly dissatisfied.
"Good, good, my darling daughter is the most sensible."
The seemingly dignified Minister of Criminal Investigation, when faced with his own daughter, could only helplessly yield and completely lose his usual seriousness.
At that moment, Sakura Toyama poured a cup of tea for Kusuo Hanyu and asked with a gentle smile, "Hyuyu, you're planning to spend a few days in Osaka this time. Have you told your family?"
Her words were loaded with meaning, an attempt to understand Yuzuru's current situation.
Although the other party had indeed saved her daughter, she had heard from her husband that he had a girlfriend, so as a mother, she naturally had to be careful.
Yuzuru understood the deeper meaning in Toyama Sakura's words and was about to speak when Toyama Ginjiro suddenly said, "Wife, you and our daughter go and cook first. I want to talk to Yuzuru alone for a while."
Kazuha turned her head to look at Yuzuru, giving him a helpless look. Their relationship definitely needed their parents' blessing, and she had been thinking about how to deal with it on the way back.
However, Yuzuru confidently told her to leave everything to him and to put her mind at ease.
After the two entered the kitchen, only Ginjiro Toyama and Kusunoki Hanyu remained in the living room, and the atmosphere became somewhat quiet.
They were both thinking about what to say next.
Soon, Ginjiro Toyama cleared his throat and spoke first: "Hanyu, I'll be frank. I know you saved Kazuha, and she likes you a lot, but as a father, I have to think more about my daughter's future. I've heard your current relationship situation is a bit complicated, this..."
He stopped speaking, his face as serious as an iron plate, his sharp gaze fixed on Yuzuru, as if trying to see right through him.
"Yes, Uncle, those girls you saw in Osaka last time were all my girlfriends."
Yuzuru sat up straight, his expression calm, and readily admitted it.
Ginjiro Toyama frowned deeply, his brows furrowing like two deep ravines, and his voice grew cold: "So what is your relationship with Kazuha now?"
As the head of the criminal investigation department in Osaka, he knew that the boy in front of him was of extremely high status and that many people would not dare to offend him easily. But now that his precious daughter was involved, he had to ask clearly and find out the truth, and he could not allow his daughter to suffer even the slightest harm.
With an unwavering expression and a firm gaze, Yuzuru said, "Kazuha is now my girlfriend and my future wife."
Before Ginjiro Toyama could ask any further questions, he continued, "Those girls are also my future wives."
"That's illegal!"
Ginjiro Toyama could no longer sit still. He suddenly stood up, his face turning extremely ugly, his anger overflowing.
