In the backyard of the Twilight Villa, the detectives hurried through the central courtyard, rushing towards the back door that Ishihara Ami had indicated.
The rain intensified, and the raindrops pattered on the stone pavement, making a crisp sound. The footsteps of the crowd mingled with the sound of the rain, sounding particularly hurried.
Yuzuru followed behind Ran and Kazuha at a leisurely pace, holding a black umbrella he had casually picked up, its surface slightly tilted to block the falling rain.
"Nan, do you think the mastermind behind this will leave us a car?" Xiao Lan, who was following behind, couldn't help but ask curiously, her eyes full of doubt.
Yuzuru smiled slightly, his gaze deep, "Perhaps, but even if we had a car, we might not be able to leave smoothly."
"Why?" Kazuha asked, puzzled, her brows furrowing slightly.
"Because this game is not over yet."
Yuzuru's tone carried a hint of deeper meaning.
He's ready to take over the game; progress is too slow, and if things were to proceed according to Chima Furuyo's original plan, it would be far too boring.
Xiaolan and her friends couldn't wait to start the treasure hunt.
The group quickly arrived at the back door and, sure enough, saw a yellow sedan parked not far away; the car that Ishihara Ami had mentioned was indeed there.
"This car wasn't blown up!" Kogoro Mori exclaimed in surprise.
Don't you guys think this car is a bit strange?
"I think the guy probably forgot to put a bomb in the car."
Compared to the chattering crowd, the elderly woman, Chima Kazuyo, who looked quite old, kept up with the others and walked unhurriedly to the driver's seat with her hands behind her back.
“Then let’s see if the bridge was really blown up as he said.” Chima Kazuyo said as she reached out and opened the driver’s side door.
Their eagerness made the detectives' eyes flicker, but they all tacitly remained silent and stepped forward to express their willingness to go along.
"I'll go too."
"In that case, I'll play along."
"Count me in..."
The car is only so big; it's impossible to take everything.
And you definitely can't put all your eggs in one basket.
After some discussion, Conan, in a childlike tone, suggested deciding who would go by tossing a coin.
The idea was good, and everyone nodded in agreement.
Conan took out his wallet from his pocket and carefully poured out six coins of different denominations onto the car hood. The coins rolled a few times on the hood before finally coming to a stop, allowing everyone to choose.
"Hey, you little rascal, you're pretty clever." Chima Kazuyo praised Conan with a smile while eagerly reaching for the coin furthest from her.
Just as she was about to touch it, a slender hand stepped in and took the coin away.
Noticing the stares of the crowd, Yu Shengnan tossed the coin in his hand, then smiled and said, "Since everyone is so interested, why don't you include me?"
"Count me in, count me in!" Kazuha eagerly joined in the fun, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Xiao Lan glanced at her best friend and silently raised her hand as well.
How could they be missing from something this fun?
Everyone: "..."
In fact, when they made the decision, they excluded Yuzuru and his group.
Characters like Conan, Heiji Hattori, Kaito Kuroba, and Chikage Kuroba were afraid that Kusunoki Hanyu, who was always looking for fun, would come and cause trouble.
Chima Kazuyo was afraid that this boy, who had already ruined her plan once before, would ruin it again if he went with her, lest he ruin her carefully designed fake death plan.
No one expected that Yuzuru Hanyu would actually come up to them on his own initiative.
"Ah, Yuzuru, are you going too? Why don't you stay here and keep Ran and the others company?" Kogoro Mouri looked at his daughter and suggested with a worried expression.
"Dad, what do you mean by this?" Hearing this, Xiaolan walked forward unhappily, her face showing some dissatisfaction.
He Ye quickly followed, saying aggressively, "That's right, that's right! Nan went, so we want to go too! We want to toss coins too!"
Ai, following behind, rubbed her forehead helplessly. She realized that Ran, the originally kind and innocent little angel, had been completely corrupted, especially when she was with Kazuha, the playful girl, she had become even more lively and bold.
No one spoke; instead, all eyes turned to Yuzuru.
The meaning in his eyes was very clear: Are you comfortable letting these two delicate girls come along?
Yuzuru shrugged and gave Ran a look.
Xiaolan understood immediately, reached out and took a coin from the car hood. To everyone's astonishment, she used her thumb and forefinger to slightly bend the sturdy coin.
My daughter has just come of age; her strength is as great as a mountain and her spirit is unparalleled.
"Ha! How about it?"
With a long sigh, Xiaolan triumphantly placed the folded coin back onto the car hood.
"Great! Ran is awesome!" Kazuha clapped enthusiastically, the applause loud and cheerful.
Everyone else remained completely silent.
The detectives stared at the seemingly frail girl in front of them as if they had seen a ghost.
Fold a coin using only two fingers.
Is this something a human can do?
Conan stood next to Heiji Hattori and began to tremble.
Oh no, Xiaolan's skills have improved again. He must never make Xiaolan angry again, or he suspects he'll end up like this coin, broken into three pieces.
