Conan and Heiji Hattori both looked at Kusunoki Hanyu.
They also wanted to see what evidence Yu Shengnan could produce, since he had been chatting with those girls the whole time and they hadn't seen him looking for any clues.
I don't believe it!
The two great detectives firmly refused to believe that Yuzuru could produce any evidence.
"You're right, I really don't have any evidence."
Yuzuru shrugged, admitting it as they had hoped.
Kotegawa Jun secretly breathed a sigh of relief, while Hattori Heiji immediately put on his arrogant face, "Hey you, don't talk big here without evidence!"
Yuzuru gave Hattori Heiji a look as if he were an idiot.
"I may not have evidence, but isn't this place full of evidence?"
As he spoke slowly, he reached out and pushed open the lid of the box, revealing a mannequin covered in blood or paint.
"It's the 21st century now, Hattori-kun."
Before Hattori Heiji could understand what those words meant, Inspector Otaki hurriedly walked in with several police officers, carrying a protective gear bag containing a long knife.
"Mr. Yuzuru, as you instructed, we found this protective gear bag in the corner of the locker room. It contained bloodstains and the victim's hair. Preliminary examination shows that it matches the situation at the crime scene."
Heiji Hattori and Conan were both shocked.
Why don't they know about this?
"Thank you for your hard work, Officer Ohtaki."
Yuzuru took the protective gear bag.
He had no interest in playing a game of finding clues and evidence with the murderer. The reason he had these four people come along was to prevent Kotekawa Jun from having the opportunity to deal with the evidence.
In such a short time, Kotekawa Jun simply couldn't bring these things out of the stadium.
"Do you have anything else to explain?"
Yuzuru remained calm and casually tossed the protective gear bag onto the ground.
Kotegawa Shun broke out in a cold sweat, but still struggled desperately, "These aren't mine, what makes you think they are mine? Where's the evidence? What was my motive for killing Sumi?"
"So, this is the 21st century."
Ai crossed her arms, a mocking smile on her face. "In the face of science, whether you deny it or not is irrelevant. Whether it's a DNA test or checking your expenses to find out if you've recently bought a lot of paint, these can all lead to your conviction."
In the technological age, there is virtually nowhere to hide one's privacy.
"What else do you have to say for yourself, Kotekawa Jun!"
Officer Otaki signaled his men to come forward and prepare to take him away.
"Wait a minute!" Hattori Heiji jumped out, looking indignant. "Inspector Otaki, wait a moment. I want to know his motive for killing."
"this……"
Officer Otaki glanced at Hanyu Nanami, who was high-fiving Ai Haibara, and reluctantly nodded.
After all, he's the boss's son; we have to give him face.
Hattori Heiji was unwilling to let all the clues he and Conan had painstakingly searched for over half a day be revealed by Hanyu Nan.
He strode up to Kotekawa Jun and said confidently, "I think I know your motives now."
"Really? Then tell me about it."
With a pale face, Kawasaki looked at Hattori Heiji in front of him, a barely perceptible glint of cold light flashing in his eyes.
However, Heiji Hattori clearly hadn't noticed and was still smugly stating his reasoning, "I just called your school to investigate. Last year, a new member of your kendo club suddenly fainted during practice and then died."
"Although the school said it was an accident, in reality..."
Kotekawa Jun replied, "Yes, during the ceremony to welcome the new members, Sumi killed him without restraint. Sumi said that although he killed the person, everyone present was guilty, and he used this as a threat."
Hattori Heiji added on behalf of Kotegawa Shun: "It was a crucial time for you to apply for jobs, so you covered it up for him because you were afraid of being implicated."
"It seems you know everything..."
Kotegawa Jun sneered, and under Hattori Heiji's smug gaze, slowly walked to the protective gear bag that Hanyu Nan had just left behind. "Then let me tell you something, something you might not know yet. There will be two people in charge of the sword-drawing demonstration at today's tournament, one of whom..."
"It's me!"
Kotekawa Jun suddenly roared and pulled the real knife out of his protective gear pouch. His face was contorted with rage, and his eyes were filled with madness.
He brandished his real sword, slashing wildly in all directions. The blade sliced through the air with a whooshing sound, forcing Hattori Heiji back several steps.
"Get out of the way! Get out of the way! All of you, get out of the way!"
"Those who block my way shall die!"
The scene instantly descended into chaos.
Inspector Ōtaki shouted for the police to come forward and subdue Kotegawa Shun, but Kotegawa Shun was wielding a real knife and acting wildly, so the police did not dare to approach rashly.
"interesting……"
Yuzuru Hanyu watched this scene and a smile appeared on his lips.
Ai, standing to the side, watched with great interest as the other person slashed wildly, and even had the mood to discuss with Nanami what style the other person was using.
"Doing this will only make you more guilty! Stop now!"
Heiji Hattori attempts to unleash his verbal skills.
Kawakami Jun ignored her, his eyes bloodshot, his face filled with madness and despair, muttering repeatedly, "It's all that bastard Tsurumi's fault, he deserves to die, he made me lose everything!"
The commotion inside the warehouse also attracted attention from outside.
A busty young woman appeared at the warehouse entrance, curiously observing the chaotic scene inside.
