"Nan, let's go."
Having finished expressing her lofty ambitions inside the store, Sonoko walked out triumphantly, took Hanyu Nan's arm as he stood at the door, and asked curiously, "What are you looking at so intently?"
As he spoke, he stretched out his hand and waved it in front of Yuzuru Hanyu's eyes.
"It's nothing." Yu Sheng Nan snapped out of his reverie, his gaze lingering on a shop next to the Sonoko Dumpling Shop with a sign that read "Opening Soon," and casually asked, "What kind of shop is this? I remember it used to be a cake shop, didn't it?"
"Hmm, it looks like a pastry shop."
Sonoko tilted her head, trying hard to recall, "I heard that the owner is a pastry chef who returned from abroad and won some major award in France. But this owner is super—mysterious. During the renovation, the place was completely covered with curtains, and no one could see inside at all."
Yu Sheng Nan nodded thoughtfully, his gaze lingering on the rustic wooden signboard for a few more seconds.
The signboard bears the words "Maria" written in calligraphy, but the signature is stamped with a strange seal—it looks like a green egg with fine lines on its shell.
“Speaking of which…” Sonoko tugged at his sleeve, “Do you want to go check out some shops tomorrow, it’s the weekend? I know a really good cake shop!”
"Alright, I'll do as our young lady Sonoko says." Yu Shengnan shook his head, no longer wanting to say anything.
After a week-long holiday, we only had one day of classes today, and tomorrow will be the weekend again.
Where can I even complain to them about this?!
