Chapter 935 I Want to See Rivers of Blood

Ahead, Phantom Thief Kid is running wildly, clutching his treasured sword; in the middle, Iron Sword is roaring and chasing after him, brandishing a wooden sword; behind him, panting policemen are also in pursuit; and on the other side, another group of policemen are searching for "Little Black" and "Kogoro Mouri"...

Meanwhile, the real Kogoro Mouri, drunk, was clinging to a pillar in the corridor, muttering to himself, "Huh? Why are there so many of me running around... I'm seeing things... I guess I really am drunk..."

Yuzuru leaned against the window, leisurely eating the exquisite wagashi (Japanese sweets) that Junhui handed him, thoroughly enjoying himself, and the smile on his lips never disappeared.

"What a lively night it was."

People who love to have fun love watching others have fun.

I want to see rivers of blood!

.........

In the courtyard.

Clutching the precious sword he had painstakingly stolen, Kaito leaped nimbly onto the highest roof of the courtyard, finally shaking off the little monster wielding a wooden sword and howling below, along with a group of policemen who were practically spitting blood from exhaustion.

"Phew...finally..."

Seeing that he was out of danger, Douzi habitually wanted to straighten his collar, strike a cool pose, and express his feelings of triumph under the moonlight, such as "I'll take the gem/treasure sword."

An aged yet powerful voice, tinged with obvious sarcasm, suddenly rang out from the side:

"Hmph, jumping around like a monkey, stealing chickens and dogs, does he even deserve to be called a 'phantom thief'? I think he's just a petty thief who hasn't even grown his first hair yet!"

Kaito was startled and turned his head to look. He saw a short old man sitting in the shadow of the eaves. He had a goatee, wore round sunglasses, and looked very much like Master Roshi.

The ancestor of the Feng family, Feng Leizang's father.

Kaito's temple bulged with veins as he struggled to maintain a poker face as he retorted, "Old man, please watch your words! I am a phantom thief, a magician under the moonlight, an artist who brings miracles, not a thief! And I never steal anything; I always give advance notice openly!"

"Hmph, flattery! Taking something without the owner's permission is stealing!" The old man scoffed disdainfully, stroking his beard.

"I can't be bothered to talk to you, goodbye!"

Kaito flicked his wrist, preparing to summon his hang glider to make a quick getaway; he didn't want to stay in this godforsaken place for even a second longer.

Just then, the old man suddenly burst into laughter, pointing to the sky: "Kid! You think this is all? Iron sword! Attack!"

Kaito was startled and subconsciously looked up at the night sky.

In the night sky, Iron Sword, that kid, had somehow produced a gigantic "gliding kite" that looked like it was hastily cobbled together from bedsheets and bamboo poles. He grinned foolishly and appeared beside him in an extremely illogical, hovering manner, a wooden sword in his hand pointing at him.

"Kidd! Give me back my knife! Let's fight another three hundred rounds!"

Kaito: "???"

What the hell is this?!

There was no time for complaining. Tie Jian yelled, "Take this!" and charged forward on his broken kite, his wooden sword whistling as it slashed down!

Kaito hurriedly maneuvered his hang glider to dodge, and the two immediately engaged in an extremely absurd "aerial battle" in the night sky—one relying on a high-tech hang glider, and the other relying on a broken kite, making a "spectacular" clanging and banging.

The people below were dumbfounded.

Inspector Nakamori, holding a megaphone, was furious yet helpless as he shouted, "Kid! And that kid who flies! Get down here! This is too dangerous! What kind of talk is this!"

Kogoro Mori sobered up considerably, rubbing his eyes and muttering to himself, "Are young people these days...do they all have such wild ways of having fun?"

The farce in the night sky continues.
