Snap! Splash!
Two sharp cracks, indicating the strain, rang out almost simultaneously.
Kaito's hang glider instantly lost its balance, spinning like a top that had been whipped into a stupor, and plummeted toward the ground; Tetsuken's kite fell apart completely, the bamboo pole snapping and cracking, and the bedsheets fluttering down like surrendering white flags.
"Waaaaahhhhhhh!"
The two screamed as they fell.
Kaito, being an experienced phantom thief, struggled to adjust his posture in mid-air before finally crashing face-first into a clump of soft bushes. Although he grimaced in pain and felt like all his bones were about to fall apart, he was at least not seriously injured.
He even took the opportunity to roll over, ignoring the damn broken knife, clutching his backside which was almost broken into eight pieces, and limped away as fast as he could disappear into the night—this place was too eerie tonight!
My equipment is broken, I've lost face, and if I stay any longer I might lose my chastity. Time to run!
Iron Sword was casually tossed aside in the courtyard by Yu Shengnan with a clever twist, leaving him somewhat bewildered as he scratched his head at the scattered kite wreckage.
The precious sword that Koizumi Akako wanted flew out of Kaito's hand with a clang and landed diagonally in the muddy ground in the center of the courtyard, its blade gleaming coldly in the moonlight.
Just then, "Little Black"—or rather, Shinichi Kudo, who had been hiding in the shadows—who had just drunk the potion again and luckily reverted to his original appearance, emerged from the corner, rubbing his still somewhat dark skin.
He looked at the chaotic courtyard, resembling post-war ruins, and the lone precious sword stuck in the ground, his brows furrowed, his face bearing a resolute expression of having seen through the truth and gained profound understanding.
The detective's intuition told him that there must be a logical explanation behind all of this!
"Kudo Shinichi?!"
A police officer recognized him.
"Is it that famous high school detective?"
Officer Nakamori was also stunned.
Kogoro Mori, his eyes half-closed with drunkenness, mumbled, "Oh? What's this kid doing here too?"
"Everyone, it's me, I am Shinichi Kudo."
Shinichi Kudo (provisional version) took a deep breath, trying to appear calm and collected. He walked to the treasured sword, pulled it out, and glanced at everyone. "Since this morning, I've had a persistent feeling of unease."
The great detective began his deduction show.
“First, there was that mysterious witch on the street whose fortune-telling was ridiculously accurate,” he held up his first finger, “and then there are these three in the yard: a tiger, a frog, and a vulture that can understand human speech and even cosplay.”
The second, third, and fourth fingers, "Next is a strange potion that can change my body shape and has random effects..."
He spoke faster and faster, his logic clear and his points well-organized, connecting all the illogical events of the night one by one.
"This is all too surreal! It defies all logic!" Conan's voice carried the confidence characteristic of a great detective. "The only explanation is—"
He paused, looked around, and concluded firmly:
"I'm dreaming right now! A dream that's incredibly absurd and bizarre!"
Everyone: "???"
Yuzuru raised an eyebrow, Shimabukuro Kimie's eyes were subtle, and the members of the Mine family looked at each other, not knowing how to refute this powerful logic.
Shinichi Kudo became increasingly certain of his deduction: "If it's a dream, then everything makes sense! Only in a dream could something so illogical, violating the laws of physics, and even basic biological common sense happen!"
He felt like a genius, able to see through the illusion of dreams.
With this thought in mind, he looked down at the sharp, gleaming sword in his hand, a hint of curiosity and... eagerness flashing in his eyes?
“Every day online people are shouting ‘Hattori’s father should step down and commit seppuku,’ it’s become a meme…” he muttered to himself, when a bold idea struck him like lightning, “I’m quite curious about what seppuku feels like… Anyway, it’s in a dream, so it shouldn’t be a problem to try it, right? If it hurts, maybe it’ll wake me up? Hmm, that makes sense!”
Once the idea took hold, it quickly took over Conan's brain, which was full of reckless desires, and grew wildly like a vine.
Let's do it! You can have anything in your dreams, and you can't die in your dreams.
If you're not dead yet, go looking for death; try it and you'll die.
True knowledge comes from practice!
Amidst the shocked, bewildered, and incredulous gazes of everyone, Shinichi Kudo gripped his sword tightly and struck a seppuku pose that he had seen in history books—a pose that was extremely unorthodox but that he felt exuded a powerful aura!
His face also wore a heroic expression that said, "I am sacrificing myself for the truth."
"Wait! Kudo! What are you doing?! Put down the knife!" Kogoro Mouri was the first to react, now completely sober, and shouted loudly, trying to stop this visible tragedy.
"Shinichi-nii, no! That's a real knife!"
Ayumi closed her eyes in fright.
Inspector Nakamori was also stunned, his brain unable to process this sudden and unexpected development, and he didn't react for a moment.
Yuzuru Hanyu reacted extremely quickly, reaching out almost simultaneously—
He gently covered the eyes of Nakamori Aoko beside him.
"Don't look," Yuzuru said softly, his tone gentle.
Aoko trembled slightly, her vision went dark, and only the warm touch of Yuzuru's palm was particularly clear. Her cheeks flushed instantly, her heart raced for no reason, and she even temporarily forgot about the bloody scene that was about to happen.
The next second—
"Pfft—"
It wasn't very loud, but in the quiet courtyard at that moment, it was an unusually clear, teeth-grinding sound.
