Chapter 79 Ten Years

Chapter 79 Ten Years

Ji Yang sat opposite Ji Qiqiang and ate.

Ji Qiqiang said as he was cutting steak, "Your uncle Dong's daughter will be back from abroad in a few days. I'll get rid of all the flowers and plants outside your house these days."

Ji Yang smiled contemptuously and said, "Then what? Marry her and then let my other woman call me in the middle of the night and make her mad to death?"

"What are you talking about!" Ji Qiqiang said anxiously.

Ji Yang said nonchalantly, "I'm just telling you what's wrong. I learned this from you. I've been influenced by you since I was a child."

"Isn't it all for your own good? Look at you now. You have a lot of romantic debts and no one is willing to give their daughter to you!" Ji Qiqiang scolded.

"Then don't have any, I don't lack women. To be honest, I didn't understand why you, father, found one woman after another outside after you had my mother. My mother is such a talented woman, but you didn't even come home. Now I know that these women outside are indeed better than those famous ladies. They are more versatile and have better skills."

"Ji Yang!" Ji Qiqiang slammed the table angrily and shouted, "How could I raise such a bastard son like you? Even the son of the Song family has made great progress, but look at you!"

Ji Yang leaned back, crossed his legs, and said with a smile, "Father, a dragon gives birth to a dragon, a phoenix gives birth to a phoenix, and a mouse's son will dig holes. I learned all this from you. You taught me by words and deeds since I was a child, and I study hard every day."

"You bastard!" Ji Qiqiang was extremely angry.

Ji Yang stood up slowly and said nonchalantly, "Having many women means you're a bastard? Then haven't you been a bastard for many years? That's not bad either, a bastard son and a bastard father."

"You!" Ji Qiqiang was furious.

Ji Yang, however, didn't seem to care, but rather looked somewhat happy. He reached out to take the coat next to him and walked out lazily, ignoring Ji Qiqiang's scolding behind him.

Ji Yang got in the car and drove out of the villa. He looked at the road in front of him, but many things from his childhood emerged in his mind. He and his mother returned home from his grandmother's house, but an aunt wrapped in a bath towel came out of the room. His father and mother started arguing, and then his mother was slapped to the ground by his father. At night, his mother hugged him and cried in the dark room.

The mother's heart-wrenching cry seemed to ring in his ears again, and Ji Yang stepped on the accelerator harder and harder.

Ji Yang drifted and stopped the car in front of a bar. At the moment of the drift, he hit the front of another car.

The car owner came over to argue, but before he could say anything, Ji Yang took out a wad of money, threw it at the man, and then walked into the bar as if nothing had happened.

When the many hostesses in the bar saw Ji Yang, they all smiled and hurried over to greet him.

"Ji Shao, you haven't been here for a long time."

"Yeah, I thought you had forgotten about us."

"How could that be? I may forget anything, but I will never forget you." Ji Yang raised his hand and hugged the two women in his arms, then walked to the booth with them.

After we sat down, more women came, and the whole circle was filled with women.

They rushed to pour wine for Ji Yang, getting as close to him as possible and snuggling up to him.

"Come on, Nuannuan, have a drink of this. I promise it won't make you drunk!"

Warm?

Ji Yang, who was having a great time, suddenly heard a familiar word. He looked into the distance and actually saw Song Nuannuan sitting in a booth.

She was wearing a red miniskirt and sitting among a group of men. She took a glass of vodka handed to her by one of them and drank it all in one gulp.

"I didn't expect that Mr. Song can drink so well. Come on, let's toast you too."

Others also handed wine to Song Nuannuan, and Song Nuannuan took it one by one and drank one glass after another.

But looking at her, she didn't look like someone who could drink. Her face was already red, her brows were wrinkled, and she even secretly retched a few times, but she continued to pour wine into her mouth.

The men around her looked her up and down slowly.

Song Nuannuan couldn't drink any more and fell on the sofa.

"Student Song, what's wrong with you?" one of the men asked.

Song Nuannuan said dazedly, "I, I feel a little uncomfortable."

"Then let me take you back to school?" The man helped her up from the sofa, held her in his arms, and walked out.

But suddenly someone blocked his way.

Song Nuannuan looked up and asked in surprise, "Ji, Brother Ji Yang?"

"Is this your friend, Song?" the boy asked.

Song Nuannuan was startled, shook her head and said, "I know him, but not very well."

"Excuse me, sir, please move aside." Upon hearing this, the boy said to Ji Yang with confidence.

Ji Yang asked straight to the point, "Where are you taking her to get a room?"

"Get a room?" Song Nuannuan was puzzled.

The boy quickly said, "What, what about booking a room? I'll take her back to school."

Ji Yang sneered and said, "Okay, we are all men, there is no point in pretending."

"Does this have anything to do with you?" the boy warned in a low voice, "Don't mind your own business."

"I don't mind other people's business, but I'm sorry, this girl's affairs are not a private matter to me." Ji Yang reached out and pushed the boy away, then hugged Song Nuannuan in his arms.

The boy walked forward angrily and wanted to attack.

But when the security guards around saw this, they immediately stood in front of Ji Yang and stopped the boy.

"Excuse me, sir, that's our black diamond client," the security guard warned.

Ji Yang ignored the man and pulled Song Nuannuan out of the bar.

"What are you doing?" Song Nuannuan shook off Ji Yang's hand.

Ji Yang turned around and said unhappily, "I was just wondering, what are you doing?"

"Drink, what's the matter? You and your brother can drink, but I can't?" Song Nuannuan said righteously.

Ji Yang leaned against his car and said, "If you want to drink, just drink. Why are you drinking with a group of men in the middle of the night?"

"You can drink with a bunch of women, why can't I drink with men?" Song Nuannuan retorted.

Ji Yang frowned and admonished, "How can it be the same? I'm a man and you're a girl. I won't suffer any loss, but you will. If I hadn't happened to meet you, you wouldn't have anywhere to cry tomorrow!"

"They are all my friends, not as dirty as you think!" Song Nuannuan said.

Ji Yang sneered and said, "A child is a child. You don't know the bad nature of men at all."

"I'm not a child anymore!" Song Nuannuan suddenly became excited and said, "Don't worry about my business!"

Having said that, she was about to go back.

Ji Yang grabbed her and said, "If I don't take care of you, who will?"

"Okay, stop acting like a child. If you really want to drink, I'll drink with you, okay?" Ji Yang reached out and touched her head to coax her.

Song Nuannuan took his hand away and said, "I've already told you I'm not a child anymore! Why do you always treat me like a child?"

Ji Yang was puzzled and said, "What's wrong with being a child?"

"Not good!" Song Nuannuan said.

"Why is it bad?" Ji Yang wondered, and said, "Children are so happy and free."

"But you will never like children, and you will never let a child become your girlfriend..."

Ji Yang was suddenly stunned.

Song Nuannuan's eyes were filled with tears, and she cried sadly, "Brother Ji Yang, I like you, why can't you feel it at all?"

He could see that Sister Chi liked Brother Xuqiu, he could see that Brother Xuqiu liked Sister Chi, he could see that Brother liked Sister Tang Shi, but he couldn't see that she liked him?

Ji Yang lowered his head and smiled, saying, "Do you know what love is?"

"Of course I understand. At least I understand better than you. I worked so hard to learn Chinese. I gave up everything I had abroad and ran back to China. Do you think I did it just for my brother? I did it for you too. Ten years. I've loved you for a whole ten years!"

Song Nuannuan was heartbroken, tears falling from her eyes continuously.

When she was in elementary school, she thought that she would not like him anymore when she reached junior high school, but she still liked him in junior high school. She thought that everything would be fine when she reached high school, but she still liked him in high school. Now she is in college, and she still likes him as much as before.

For ten years, she watched helplessly as the man she loved fell in love with other people and was with other people again and again.

A heart, broken again and again...

Ji Yang was shocked. He was well-known for his fickleness, so he naturally knew how unbearable he was in the eyes of upper-class girls like Song Nuannuan. But he really didn't expect that someone would actually care about such a person like him for ten years.

But this feeling was too heavy, and he thought he couldn't bear it.

Ji Yang pretended not to know, changed the subject, and said, "Where do you live now? I'll take you back."

"I won't go back." Song Nuannuan said stubbornly.

Ji Yang sighed, walked up to Song Nuannuan, picked her up, threw her into his convertible, and drove away.

"Where are you taking me?" Song Nuannuan asked.

Ji Yang said, "Since you don't tell me where you live, I'll have no choice but to take you to my house."

He was driving very fast. Song Nuannuan was so scared that she quickly fastened her seat belt and told him the location of her hotel.

Ji Yang took her back to her room.

The next day, Song Nuannuan woke up and went out to find that Ji Yang had not left last night, but had been guarding her door all night.

It turned out that he was afraid that drunk Song Nuannuan would run around everywhere, and he was also afraid that her group of bad friends would come to his house.

However, the consequence of this was that Ji Yang developed a high fever, which scared Song Nuannuan so much that she rushed him to the hospital.

The New Year is over, and Chi Jinjin sets out on a journey to meet Nan Xuqiu.

It was the first time for her to feel so happy after coming to that city from home.

The wind along the way is sweet.

After crossing mountains and rivers, Chi Jinjin finally arrived at her destination. When she came out of the station, she saw Nan Xuqiu waiting for her in the distance.

Nan Xuqiu just happened to look up and saw Chi Jinjin.

Chi Jinjin immediately pulled the suitcase and ran towards Nan Xuqiu.

Nan Xuqiu also put his phone back into his pocket and ran through the crowd towards Chi Jinjin.

At the moment of hugging, the two worlds collided.

Chi Jinjin stood on tiptoe and hugged his neck, while Nan Xuqiu leaned over with half of his face buried in her shoulder.

When he straightened up, Chi Jinjin was lifted up.

Nan Xuqiu held her and spun around a little before letting go of Chi Jinjin.

"Are you hungry?" Nan Xuqiu asked.

Chi Jinjin nodded continuously. Her stomach was growling with hunger in the car.

"Come on, I'll take you to eat something delicious." Nan Xuqiu held her hand with one hand, pulled her suitcase with the other hand, and walked towards the car.

Chi Jinjin was carrying a small shoulder bag and skipping beside him.

"Nan Xuqiu, let me tell you, I just encountered a very interesting thing in the car." Chi Jinjin enthusiastically shared the interesting thing she encountered.

Nan Xuqiu listened happily.

After dinner, they returned home. Chi Jinjin took out a lot of local specialties from her suitcase and gave them to Nan Xuqiu. Nan Xuqiu accepted them all without hesitation.

"Nan Xuqiu, I... have something else to give you." Chi Jinjin said mysteriously.

"What?" Nan Xuqiu asked, but his eyes were already filled with anticipation.

Chi Jinjin suddenly took out a black scarf from another gift bag.

It turned out that during the Chinese New Year, Chi Jinjin knitted another one for him.

"How is it, do you like it?" Chi Jinjin asked, trying to find the answer from his eyes.

His smiling eyes gave her the answer before his mouth did, and he said, "I like it."

"Let me put it on for you to try?" Chi Jinjin said.

Nan Xuqiu nodded.

Chi Jinjin tiptoed slightly and put the scarf on him.

"Jinjin." Nan Xuqiu looked down at Chi Jinjin who was tidying up for him and asked, "That red scarf...can I still have it?"

"That one is old and too thick. It's not suitable to wear now." Chi Jinjin said.

Nan Xuqiu put his arm around her waist, and Chi Jinjin pressed her whole body against him. He smiled and said, "Then I can wait until winter to wear it. I like that one too. Give it to me."

"Okay, then I'll go back and wash it and bring it back to you." Chi Jinjin said.

Nan Xuqiu smiled and nodded.

Looking at the person in his arms whom he hadn't seen for a long time, Nan Xuqiu was moved. He bent down and kissed her forehead, then slowly moved towards her lips.

Chi Jinjin paused while adjusting her scarf, looked at him, closed her eyes, and raised her head slightly.

She was lost in Shakespeare's garden, filled with the roses of realism.

The longing for each other across thousands of miles eventually turned into an unforgettable kiss.

Without having to say it, they already knew how deeply they missed each other.

After kissing for a long time, the two gradually separated.

Nan Xuqiu's eyes flickered as he held her in his arms again and whispered in her ear, "Jinjin, I miss you so much."

"Me too." Chi Jinjin pressed her face against his chest, listening to his slightly rapid heartbeat.

She looked at the setting sun shining through outside and thought of that sentence,

Spring breezes are blowing, life is back to normal, fortunately there is light, we will always meet again...

Ji Yang was hospitalized, and Song Nuannuan, feeling guilty, took the initiative to take on the responsibility of taking care of him.

At first, Ji Yang kept refusing, but he found that Song Nuannuan’s cooking was surprisingly delicious. As the saying goes, “one should be grateful to someone who has given you something, and one should be grateful to someone who has given you something.” He couldn’t help but accept it silently.

Song Nuannuan was by the window, helping Ji Yang hang out the clothes.

Ji Yang leaned against the head of the bed, staring at her quietly.
