Chapter 27 Justice

Chapter 27 Justice

Nanny Zhang and Zi Su felt relieved and quickly responded and went down together.

Now that the third young lady has been found in the mansion, doesn’t that mean the family will be reunited soon?

Jiang Qingning lowered his eyes to look at the unconscious young face, raised his hand and touched it lightly, then quickly withdrew his hand in panic, as if he was worried that the person in front of him would disappear.

"Sister has finally arrived."

Jiang Qingning raised his hands to cover his face, hiding the sobs that escaped his lips.

In a place where no one could see, the unconscious girl moved her fingers slightly, and then returned to calm.

The next day.

Jiang Qingning opened her eyes early on the short couch beside her and quickly went to the side room to wash up.

"Third sister had a fever last night, but fortunately it was not a high fever. However, there are not many herbs left in the house, and they are only enough for the last dose of breakfast." Jiang Qingning whispered.

She used to be in poor health, and one of her monthly expenses was to buy herbs, and Aunt Zhang would make health pills for her to recuperate.

Nanny Zhang helped her change her clothes and said, "Don't worry, young lady. I will go out to get medicine later. I will buy more this time."

Jiang Qingning nodded slightly. She folded her hands on her belly and wore a dark green brocade flowing cloud skirt. The skirt had a deep dark green background and was woven with intricate flowing cloud patterns, which seemed to float gently with her steps.

The skirt is wide and flowing, like the clouds in the sky, mysterious and charming. A belt inlaid with gems is tied around her waist, which makes her waist look slimmer and her temperament more elegant.

"Is it okay for me to wear this to meet Third Sister? Will it look too solemn? How about I change into that silk dress that depicts the clear water and green mountains?"

Jiang Qingning looked at herself in the mirror, looking a little nervous.

She has fair skin, thick hair and a dignified appearance. She wears an exquisite jade hairpin in her cloud-like hair and her eyebrows are well-proportioned, and she is very graceful.

"Why should I change? This is the one that looks really good. In this capital, only my daughter has a first-class good appearance.

You wore this dress to pay your respects earlier, but that old witch said...it's obviously beautiful, and no one in the Anping Marquis's mansion has eyes for it!"

Zi Su snorted in dissatisfaction, and walked forward to put on a pair of crystal clear jade bracelets for Jiang Qingning, as if to show off her wealth.

Jiang Qingning was helpless, but felt a little relieved.

"If Perilla is beautiful, then it must be extremely beautiful. Come with me to see my little sister."

Jiang Qingning had something on her mind and she walked quickly towards the main house, lifting her skirt. There was a crackling sound coming from the room, and Jiang Qingning's heart tightened and she walked in quickly.

The debris all over the floor frightened Jiang Qingning. She saw that the bed was empty and immediately walked in nervously.

In an instant, the sword flashed and touched Jiang Qingning's neck, and a strand of long hair gently fell to the ground.

Aunt Zhang and Zi Su rushed forward, exclaiming, "Miss, be careful! You can't do that!"

A hoarse female voice rang in my ears: "Don't move, where is this place?"

Jiang Qingning's heartbeat gradually calmed down. She tilted her head slightly to match the sword to avoid accidentally hurting herself, and said softly, "Madam Zhang, Zisu, you all go down, I'm fine."

"Madam, go get some medicine. We're running low on herbs in the mansion. Zisu, go get the porridge from the kitchen. I'll have dinner with my little sister."

Jiang Qingning gave the two of them instructions in an orderly manner, and at the same time he clearly noticed that the long sword around his neck was trembling slightly.

She chuckled softly, "Let me introduce myself first. My name is Jiang Qingning. I have an older brother named Jiang Qinghuai and a younger sister named Jiang Qingxi. She was only seven years old when she left home. I think it's been eight years since I last saw her. I wonder if she can still recognize me."

"You, turn around."

The hoarse voice behind him trembled slightly, and the sword moved slightly.

Jiang Qingning slowly turned around and looked at Jiang Qingxi, whose eyes were red. The latter looked at her face carefully, and his eyes were gradually filled with crystal tears.

With a clang, the sword fell to the ground.

"Sister!"

Jiang Qingxi suddenly threw himself into Jiang Qingning's arms and hugged her waist tightly.

Jiang Qingning didn't move at all. He carefully supported Jiang Qingxi's shoulders, raised his hand to stroke her long hair, and comforted her softly: "Don't cry, little sister, I'm here."

After a long time, Jiang Qingning helped her walk to the round table and sat down.

Jiang Qingxi looked to be only fifteen or sixteen years old, with fair skin and long hair draped obediently behind her. Her white pajamas made her look simple and innocent.

"Little sister, how did you end up in the capital? Are your father, mother, and brother all right?

For the past eight years, I thought something had happened to you, but my mother-in-law forced me to learn the rules and regulations, and I was never allowed to leave the house. Now I finally see you."

Jiang Qingning's eyes were red. Even though she had cried for half the night while staring at Jiang Qingxi, and thought her tears had dried up long ago, she still couldn't help but burst into tears.

Jiang Qingxi was horrified: "We have written to my sister every year but have never received a reply. My father and brother have made great achievements in Lingnan in recent years.

During the past two years, my father and brother would return to Beijing to report on their work during every New Year holiday. My mother's health has been improving recently... But when my father and brother went to the Anping Earl's Mansion, they received news that my elder sister was seriously ill and could not see anyone."

Zi Su walked in with food and couldn't help but feel angry when she heard this.

"That's because the young lady was given an ominous name by that vicious woman, the old lady. During the three years that Anping Earl was away from the capital, she was sent to a Taoist temple to pray for Anping Earl.

To atone for her sins! My daughter has been predicted by masters to have the destiny of a wealthy peony since she was young. How could she be the unlucky person she mentioned? This is simply outrageous!

Jiang Qingxi instantly understood the whole situation and said angrily, "How dare you bully my sister like this? I'm going to kill that vicious old woman right now!"

"Little sister, please be patient. This matter cannot be rushed. I am already satisfied now that I see you are safe. My three years of praying day and night for blessings will not be in vain."

"Besides, how could I, the eldest daughter of the Jiang family, always endure this?"

Jiang Qingning grabbed her and pushed her back onto the stool.

She had been tortured so much in the past that she naturally would not be willing to pray for the Xun family, so she had long ago replaced the eternal lamp she was offering with that of her own family, but this kind of thing could not be said out loud.

"You haven't told me how you got injured and you're unconscious in my yard. Could it be that the assassin we were looking for in the capital last night was you?" Jiang Qingning said with a serious expression.

Jiang Qingxi felt a little guilty for a moment and cheered himself up in his heart.

"I came out without telling my father, mother, and brother. I stole my brother's horse and rushed back to the capital at the fastest speed.

I wanted to find out about my sister's recent situation and then sneak into the Anping Marquis's residence to check on the situation, but I learned that the Anping Marquis had divorced you and kicked my sister out of the residence."

"so what?"

Jiang Qingning withdrew his hand with a serious expression.

Jiang Qingxi subconsciously shrank back and carefully twisted his fingers around it.

"I was furious and sneaked into the Anping Marquis's house. I saw with my own eyes that white cuckoo took over the magpie's nest.

I have a complicated relationship with Xun Chen, so I have been waiting here until he is alone, and then I will seek justice for my sister!"

"So you assassinated him?"

Jiang Qingning's eyes darkened. She didn't dare to think about what had happened in the past eight years. Who was still her cute and soft sister?
