Su Huaiyue rubbed his waist which was sore from the fall. Seeing that the python was still twisting and struggling not far away and had not completely lost its ability to fight back, he couldn't help feeling a little anxious.
She knew that if it recovered later, it would be even more difficult to deal with.
At this time, Xiao Li had already stumbled back to her side, gasping for air, and said in a terrified voice, "Madam Wei, what should we do? This beast is not dead yet!"
She thought for a moment, gathered herself, and ordered, "Xiao Li, we can't delay any longer. Hurry up and find something else that's handy. We have to get rid of this in one go."
Looking back at the surroundings, Su Huaiyue's gaze finally fell on the scattered stones on the ground. His heart moved and an idea came to him.
Xiao Li understood the urgency of the situation and without further ado, he immediately went to pick up some stones of suitable size. The two of them approached the python from the left and right and once again worked together to attack it.
Su Huaiyue carefully chose the right moment and threw the stone accurately at the python's head. The snake felt pain immediately and its strength weakened a little.
Seeing this, Xiao Li also exerted force, letting the stone in his hand hit the python mercilessly, leaving no chance for it to breathe.
Soon the python became motionless, its huge body lying limply on the ground.
After confirming that it was completely dead, Su Huaiyue breathed a long sigh of relief and couldn't help feeling relieved - after all, there was no danger.
Xiao Li, who was standing next to him, felt his legs go weak and he sat down on the ground. He wiped the sweat off his face and said with lingering fear: "Thank goodness you are here, otherwise I would have died here."
Seeing this, Su Huaiyue patted his shoulder and comforted him: "Okay, at least we are all fine. This can be regarded as a blessing in disguise."
After saying that, she looked around and said, "Then let's take this snake back. It will also be a change of taste for everyone."
Xiao Li and the other man regained their spirits. Together they dragged the python's body onto a sturdy wooden board, then found some ropes nearby and tied it tightly.
After some effort, they finally tied the snake.
Along the way, although Su Huaiyue was exhausted, her heart was filled with a sense of accomplishment. She thought that when she returned and showed it to Li'er and Zhi'er, they would definitely be very excited.
"Humph, a snake this big is sure to be enough for everyone to feast on!"
Xiao Li responded and couldn't help but smile.
The three of them looked at each other, and felt a sense of relief in their hearts. Although they had just experienced a dangerous situation, at this moment they felt a sense of comfort after surviving a disaster.
Just as they were dragging the giant snake's corpse back, Su Huaiyue felt a dull pain.
When he looked down, he found that his arm was cut during the fight with the python.
Although the wound was not deep, it was still bleeding, which made her a little worried.
"Mrs. Wei, are you okay?"
Xiao Li noticed her abnormality and stopped immediately.
"It might be an accidental scratch during the fight just now, it's nothing serious."
Su Huaiyue forced a smile, trying to make her tone sound lighter.
"Well, this wound is not small, let's take care of it first."
Xiao Li frowned, obviously worried about her condition.
He quickly tore off a piece of clean cloth from his body and carefully bandaged Su Huaiyue's injured arm.
"Thank you, Xiao Li." Su Huaiyue felt a warm feeling in her heart.
As Xiao Li bandaged Su Huaiyue, he said, "That's not right, Madam Wei. This is as it should be. If it weren't for you, I would have died there long ago."
Su Huaiyue smiled and was somewhat glad that she did not show weakness and overcame her inner fear.
They were still walking back on the road.
Wang Laosan, who had already escaped, was sweating profusely and staggered back to the camp.
He couldn't help but feel proud, thinking that he would be able to completely control Su Huaiyue this time.
Before he could even stand still, he rushed forward and said to Li Daren anxiously, "Master Li, this is bad. Su Huaiyue is simply a disaster. She actually abandoned us without caring about our safety and wanted to kill us all."
Lord Li frowned slightly and asked in a cold voice, "What do you mean?"
Wang Laosan became increasingly excited, fanning the flames as he spoke, "Just now, we were attacked by a giant python in the woods. Su Huaiyue actually pushed us forward and ran away. If I hadn't run so fast, I would have been killed, sir."
Upon hearing this, Lord Li's face darkened. He glanced at Wang Lao San with suspicion, but remained calm and said, "Please be patient for now. I will send someone to check the situation before making any plans."
Lord Li, who had just walked out of the tent, wanted to arrange someone to rescue him, but happened to meet Su Huaiyue.
"Ah, there's a python!"
"Run! The python is out."
The people around only saw a giant python and ran around in fear.
People who saw the python were still running around because they were frightened by it.
Su Huaiyue stood calmly aside, and two officers behind him were carrying in the huge dead snake.
Everyone retreated away with expressions of horror on their faces.
Wang Laosan was so frightened that his face turned pale and he slipped and almost fell.
"Sir, this is impossible! How could they come back alive?"
Lord Li ignored Wang Laosan behind him and walked straight towards Su Huaiyue.
Su Huaiyue also saw Wang Laosan collapsed on the ground in fear, and kept thinking in his mind.
I don't know what this guy said when he ran back, but it was definitely something unfavorable to her.
Then she looked at Lord Li and said slowly, "Lord Li, we have dealt with this python."
