Chapter 5 Returning to My Mother's Home and Emptying Out (2/2)

Not long after Shen Qingtang left the Duke of Dingguo's mansion, a new piece of information suddenly flooded into her mind—the space had unlocked the ability to teleport.

With a single thought, one can instantly arrive at the place one desires.

At the same time, the space doubled again, and an exquisite wooden house was even added next to the spring.

A thought struck her.

Try marking the Yongning Marquis's residence as a teleportation point.

The thought had barely formed in his mind when he appeared outside Lu Jin's study.

A chaotic commotion erupted from inside: servants were wailing as they reported the death.

Lu Jin gritted his teeth and roared, "Investigate! Investigate thoroughly! Who dared to commit such a crime in the Marquis's residence!"

Immediately following was Lin Pei's soft, almost breathless sobbing: "My lord... could it be... my sister? After all, she was so angry at Qingzhi Courtyard just now..."

Before she finished speaking, she had already accurately pointed the finger at Shen Qingtang.

"Impossible!" Lu Jin's voice hesitated for a moment, but was quickly overwhelmed by anger. "Even if she was angry, she wouldn't kill someone!"

But the doubt in his tone couldn't be faked.

Then, a servant rushed in, panicked, to report: "My lord! Something terrible has happened! The storeroom is empty! The old lady, the young lady, the madam, and everything in your study—all of it has vanished!"

"What?!" Lu Jin's voice suddenly rose, filled with shock and disbelief.

Lin Peirou's scream followed immediately, all traces of her former weakness gone: "My things! My bracelet! And all those... how could they be gone?!"

She seemed to collapse instantly, her voice filled with a ferocious wail, completely devoid of the composure she had shown moments before.

He suddenly went black and fainted.

Shen Qingtang listened from outside the window and sneered repeatedly. These people have finally met their match.

Too lazy to watch this farce any longer, she changed her mind and teleported again.

The next second, she appeared outside the main hall of the Duke of Dingguo's mansion.

Inside the hall, Old Master Shen was falling from his wheelchair to the ground. The little old man who had been throwing a tantrum just moments before was now clutching his leg.

His brows were furrowed, but he gritted his teeth and refused to utter a sound. His father, mother, and brothers were surrounding him.

I felt both nervous and helpless.

"Please take it easy..." Mother Shen tried to help him up, but he brushed her off.

"I'm not so old that I can't walk!" Old Master Shen said, his neck stiff, but his eyes were somewhat dim, clearly indicating that he had fallen quite hard.

This old man is clearly in a lot of pain, but he insists on being stubborn.

Looking at his stubborn yet kind appearance, Shen Qingtang's heart softened, and she softly called out, "Grandpa."

Grandpa Shen was muttering, "If that girl doesn't come back soon, I'll..." Hearing this voice, he suddenly stopped and slowly turned around.

When he saw Shen Qingtang standing behind him.

He froze, a flicker of confusion crossing his cloudy eyes, followed by a burst of joy, then his face hardened, and he snapped, "You actually know how to come back?!"

Though his words were stern, tears welled up in the corners of his eyes.

Looking at her parents' reddened eyes, Shen Qingtang felt both bittersweet and warm inside.

In her past life, she devoted herself entirely to Lu Jin, in order to help him manage the Marquis's mansion and expand his business.

Although her parents had concerns, they always supported her unconditionally and never uttered a single complaint.

Now, all the valuables she had put into the Yongning Marquis's mansion have returned to her space and will no longer be given away to that despicable couple for nothing.

"I'm back." She smiled at her family, her voice firm. "This time I'm back, and I'm not leaving again. From now on, our family will be together forever."

The eldest brother, Shen Minglan, was calm and composed, while the second brother, Shen Mingzhao, was more perceptive.

He stared at Shen Qingtang for a moment, feeling that there were some inexplicable changes in his younger sister.

That sharp yet calm temperament.

He quickly stepped forward: "Qingtang, did you suffer any injustice at the Marquis's residence? What exactly happened?"
