Chapter 174 The Tiger is for You
"Should he be a hunter?" An Lei said, looking at his clothes made of animal fur.
"What weapons do hunters usually use?" Feng Aoqing tested him.
"Of course it's the bow." An Lei thought for a moment and answered.
Feng Aoqing smiled and shook her head, then turned over his hands and examined them. There were no traces of bow pulling on his fingers.
"Look at the calluses on your right hand and the calluses on his hand. Are they in the same position?"
An Lei looked at it, compared it, and suddenly realized: "He usually uses a knife or a sword."
Feng Aoqing nodded.
She pointed at the man's muscles and bones and said, "If he were a hunter, his limbs would have to be much stronger. With his physique, he's obviously just a martial artist, but he's quite skilled. I don't know who's better between him and you!"
As Feng Aoqing spoke, she had already pressed down on his shoulder and said coldly, "Don't move!"
It turned out that the man had just woken up and had heard the entire conversation between the two people. So he asked, "Who are you?"
"We are just passing by. We don't care who you are. We saved you only because I am a doctor. If your life depends on keeping your sword-holding hand, then don't move." Feng Aoqing gave the order.
No one who practices martial arts will move after hearing these words.
He saw that the person in front of him was a stunning young woman.
"A woman...as a healer?"
"My sister is the most powerful doctor in all of Jiuzhou. I advise you to shut up first and then thank your ancestors in your heart. It is because of their blessings that you met us when you were about to die." An Lei teased when he heard that he still looked down on Feng Aoqing.
The man then shut up.
"What's your name? Can you feel pain? Do you feel nauseous or want to vomit?" Feng Aoqing asked.
"My name is..."
"It's okay, you can use a pseudonym. Your name is just a code name. We can't call you 'Hey'!"
"Yuejiu."
"Oh, my name is Feng Miao, the wind blows on the lake and the waves are vast. He is my younger brother Feng Shu, a flash of lightning that leaves no light behind." Feng Aoqing also fiddled with poetry.
"Thank you. There is a tiger three miles away. I'll give it to you as medical fee." Yue Jiu's tone was a little relaxed at this time.
"It's really a tiger!" An Lei exclaimed, "Sister, stay here. I'll get it back."
"No, it's dangerous." Feng Aoqing was worried about him going alone.
"What's the danger if I die?" An Lei didn't care.
"I'm not afraid of a tiger corpse." Yue Jiu replied.
"Okay!" An Lei ran away before he finished listening.
Feng Aoqing smiled and shook her head: "I've never seen a tiger before, but I'm so happy."
She followed him out and got tools for him from the space.
Yue Jiu was surprised. These two people dared to go into the mountains alone, so they were naturally not ordinary people. But there were probably not many people who were so brave.
He moved his body and saw Feng Aoqing put a soft cloth on his lips. The cloth was wet. He was really thirsty, so he licked his lips hard.
"You've lost too much blood. You can't drink water right now. Be patient. If you're really thirsty, ask me to dip it in for you."
He nodded slightly.
"Do you have a fixed place to live? Is it far from here?" Feng Aoqing saw that he was dressed as a hunter, and thought that he must have been hiding in this mountain for some time.
Seeing his expression change, Feng Aoqing explained: "Oh, don't worry, I'm thinking about your injury. Our tent is fine if it doesn't snow, but if it snows all night, it won't hold up. Besides, it's too cold."
Yue Jiu seemed to have gone through a mental struggle for a while, then nodded.
After a while, An Lei came back and his excited shouts could be heard from a distance.
Feng Aoqing went to see him, and he used the modified trailer given by Feng Aoqing to drag the tiger back by himself.
She put the tiger corpse into the space and would divide it up when she had time.
"He lives not far from here, let's move there." Feng Aoqing told An Lei.
"Okay, I don't think you will abandon him." An Lei already knew Feng Aoqing very well.
The two men carried Yue Jiu onto the stretcher, and following his instructions, the three of them went to the hut where he lived.
This house is made of simple logs and has only one connecting room. People eat, drink, defecate and urinate in the same room. It can only be said to be slightly better than a tent.
It can be seen that he has lived here for some time and is very clean, so the house inside and outside is tidy.
The two men moved him to the bed and started to get busy, some making a fire and some checking his injuries.
Once the fire was lit, it was indeed much warmer than the tent.
Yue Jiu watched the two of them busying around, his eyelids drooping and he fell asleep.
It's just death anyway, so he is no longer afraid.
Who knew that it was Feng Aoqing who drugged him.
As soon as he fell asleep, the two men jumped up and searched the house inside and out.
"He might be a fugitive. The knife is under his pillow, but there's nothing else to prove his identity," An Lei said. "He's probably not coming for us! He followed us and got chased by a tiger. No one would do this job no matter how much money they were offered!"
"Well, there is obviously no road, but he pointed in a very clear direction, which means he is very familiar with it. Moreover, there are more than one or two days of signs of life in this house. It must have been at least half a year or a year. It shouldn't be directed at us." Feng Aoqing replied.
Feng Aoqing was also more inclined to believe that this person had committed a crime somewhere and then fled into the mountains.
When Yue Jiu woke up again, Feng Aoqing had already finished giving him the blood transfusion and put away all his things.
As soon as he woke up, Feng Aoqing brought a bowl of rice soup to his mouth and fed him.
The aroma that filled the room made him swallow his saliva, because An Lei was tearing his roasted rabbit meat and eating it with white rice.
He remembered that there was no rice in his house, only some moldy flour.
"Don't look at it. There are only a few pieces of dried meat in your room that we can eat. The rice is ours. We have to cross the mountain, so there must be food!" Feng Aoqing knew what he was wondering about.
Yue Jiu nodded.
It didn't take long, but he already felt much better. At least, his life was saved.
The two of them took care of him for the next few days until he was barely able to move, and then they were ready to leave.
"Are you going to the valley?" Yue Jiu asked.
"Well, we will settle down in Hantian Valley from now on. If you hunt any mountain products, you can send them to the city and sell them to me. I will give you a high price." Feng Aoqing admitted generously.
"Okay." Yue Jiu seemed relieved.
"I've left some rice for you, the water tank in the house is full, and the firewood is piled by the pit. This way you don't have to go out of the house, and you can save some energy and take good care of yourself." Feng Aoqing arranged everything properly.
"If you give me a life, I can help you kill someone in the future." Yue Jiu made a promise.
"First of all, you have already paid a tiger for this, that's enough. Secondly, if there is someone I need to kill, I will kill him myself." Feng Aoqing smiled, as if this was as natural as eating.
Yue Jiu was stunned for a moment and watched the two people leave.
