Chapter 72 Self-sewed wounds
"Put me down." Feng Aoqing whispered.
"Are you feeling okay?" Even if it was just words of concern, when they came out of Han Lang's mouth, the tone was the same as "I'll spare your life for now."
"Well, it's okay." Feng Aoqing raised her head slightly.
Han Lang gently placed her on the ground. Seeing that she was a little shaky, he said, "I can carry you."
"I know. It's almost time. I don't want to be drowned by the saliva of those women."
It seems that he has recovered a little and has more strength to speak.
When they reached the hillside, Feng Aoqing reached out to stop him and said, "Lift your foot."
Han Lang looked down and saw a rope on the instep of his foot.
The two of them lifted their feet and stepped over.
"Go down that end." Feng Aoqing pointed to the slope on the other side.
Han Lang understood at a glance that this was to help him avoid the trap.
Feng Aoqing's guess was correct. Shortly after she left, Mo Nanzhou immediately led his men to restore the two traps.
Han Lang took a look and saw that it was a straight slope and there was no way to go up.
He must have used some Qinggong skills, and now he was thinking about what posture would be best to take her down. When he turned around, he saw Feng Aoqing starting to move her body.
She is gradually recovering and her body's abilities are awakening.
Then she took out a rope and hung it on some bamboos. She followed the rope and moved down the stone slope, moving very nimbly.
Han Lang jumped down first and looked up.
"There's someone! There's someone under the bamboo forest!" The night watchman discovered them.
A hidden weapon flew towards them. Han Lang leaned sideways to grab the thing and took a closer look. It turned out to be a sharpened bamboo stick. The person who threw it must have had great internal strength.
He didn't have time to think before shouting, "One of us!"
"Jump down!" Han Lang was afraid that Feng Aoqing was unable to avoid it, so he stretched out his arms to catch her.
Seeing that she was not far from the ground, Feng Aoqing was really ready to jump down, but she did not intend to let Han Lang catch her. Instead, she dragged the rope along the stone wall for a few steps, and then used the swinging force to fly out, rolled around, and fell to the ground.
Han Lang frowned, and when he saw the people coming out of the cave, he stood up straight and raised his chin.
"Ao Qing!"
"Sister-in-law!"
The person in front of him was very familiar. Mo Beiyuan stretched out his hand to help, but Feng Aoqing dodged and stood up by herself.
"I don't need to introduce this person, Lord Han."
She moved aside to make room for Han Lang, then pushed through the crowd and walked into the cave on her own.
Mo Beiyuan grabbed her arm and heard her hiss. He couldn't help but retract his hand, which was already wet.
"Ao Qing, are you injured?!"
"It's okay, just a minor injury." Feng Aoqing shook her head without looking up at him.
When everyone saw Feng Aoqing was injured, they surrounded her and took her into the cave.
"You saved him?" Mo Beiyuan turned around and looked at Han Lang.
"No, when I arrived, the young lady had already killed most of the enemies, and I only added a few more blows. I was afraid that there would be danger in the forest at night, so I sent her back." Han Lang replied.
Mo Beiyuan frowned, obviously a little surprised.
"They are not my people," he handed a cloth bag to Mo Beiyuan, "I am just going to Lianzhou on business, and my master said he would take you out of Yanzhou on the way, that's all."
Han Lang knew Mo Beiyuan's character very well, and was afraid that he couldn't explain it clearly, so he specially left a token of his love for him.
Mo Beiyuan didn't ask any more questions. He hurried to see the injured Feng Aoqing.
He saw the clothes hanger moved to the corner, with clothes hanging on it to dry. There was light inside, and Feng Aoqing's silhouette.
"Brother, my sister-in-law is treating my injuries." Mo Minglei looked out.
Mo Beiyuan turned around and went in.
Feng Aoqing sat on the ground, with instruments for treating external injuries laid out on the stone beside her. She revealed the wound on her left arm and was about to treat it herself.
Mo Beiyuan felt so heartbroken when she saw the wound. She had never suffered such an injury before.
"I'll help you."
"No need, your skills are better than mine!"
Mo Beiyuan saw that her face looked bad and thought that something serious had happened.
"You have good skills, I can help you hold the lights, right?"
He grabbed the flashlight that Feng Aoqing was about to put into her mouth and bite.
Han Lang also followed in and looked at the silhouette on the clothes rack. The woman inside was threading a needle, as if she was doing needlework.
He was greatly shocked that this woman was so brave.
"Your sewing method..." Mo Beiyuan asked as he saw how meticulously she sewed.
"It's definitely different from stitching your wound. You have so many wounds, one more isn't much, but what am I going to do with my scar if it gets bigger?"
"Oh, does it hurt?"
"It doesn't hurt now."
"Ao Qing, today I..."
"He saw it all. Kill him. I've brought him back for you." Feng Aoqing tapped the flashlight in Mo Beiyuan's hand with her finger.
Hearing this, Han Lang took the hot water handed to him by Mo Nanzhou and stopped when he was about to put it to his mouth.
"It's just a joke, my sister-in-law was joking." Mo Nanzhou helped to explain.
"I know. If she wanted to kill me, she could have poisoned me on the way." Han Lang smiled, thinking of the scene when she was on his back just now.
This woman was talking nonsense, and it was unclear whether she was really dizzy or just pretending to be dizzy to test him.
"Our whole family would like to thank Lord Han for saving our lives." Mo Nanzhou said respectfully.
"No, she was done when I got there and didn't need me."
Feng Aoqing walked at the front of the team at the beginning. One of his sleeves was leaking poison, and the other sleeve was waving, spraying out poison.
To be on the safe side, she also poisoned the fire. As the fire burned, poisonous gas drifted out, and anyone who stayed in the cave would be poisoned.
Han Lang was a little scared. If he hadn't met Feng Aoqing, but went to that place after she left, he was afraid that he would have been poisoned as well.
Just as I was thinking about it, two people came out from behind the clothes rack.
"The road is blocked and I can't go anywhere, so I'll just go with you." Han Lang said to Mo Beiyuan.
"Master Han, please do as you please." Mo Beiyuan replied.
Seeing that Han Lang was soaked and had no luggage with him, Mo Nanzhou found his own dry clothes for him to change into.
Han Lang was not polite. He took the clothes and went to change, then put his clothes on the clothes rack to dry.
Jingtao saw it and walked over to reach out and move his clothes.
He threw the branch in his hand and it stuck deep into the ashes at Jingtao's feet.
Jing Tao was startled, then politely said, "Master Han, your silk dress is too close to the fire. It will be burned and you won't be able to wear it tomorrow. I'll move it a little further away for you."
He closed his eyes again and agreed.
Jing Tao then adjusted the position of the clothes and the rack, put away the dry clothes, and put the clothes that Feng Aoqing had just changed on the rack.
Mo Beiyuan saw Feng Aoqing take a small oilcloth and leave the big cave, going to a small cave not far away, so he followed her.
"Why come here?" Mo Beiyuan saw that the space here could only accommodate three or four people, and it was not as spacious as over there.
"I need to rest for a while. It's too noisy over there." Feng Aoqing replied.
The oilcloth had been laid out while they were talking. When Mo Beiyuan looked again, the man was already fast asleep, breathing heavily.
He sat down next to Feng Aoqing and unfolded the cloth bag that Han Lang had just given him.
Inside was a short blade, also made of Jixia's fine iron.
He put away his knife and closed his eyes to rest.
